Not exactly sure how to explain how Mike's hard and excellent work has changed my life forever. I was hit by a car on Park Ave & 34th street in 2019—while riding my electric scooter home to the upper east side from the east village. An SUV blitzed through a yellow light and plowed into me as I was taking off into a green light. I broke my shoulder in 3 places—which could be repaired surgically. However, it wasn't until 2 years later that I realized that the accident had thrown my body completely out of whack forever, and I'd never be able to run more than 2-3 miles ever again. The driver of the SUV had a $50K insurance policy which was just enough to cover my hospital and surgery costs. But, Mike is a genius, and he discovered an opportunity to claim an even larger, additional settlement—which I never in a million years would have known about. He went after it. He fought for me. He never gave up. He does not give up, ever. 2 years later, he called me to let me know that we settled and disclosed the settle amount to me—and I cried tears of joy. It was very frustrating to find an attorney that could handle our case. Atty Daddario was just a random find on Google. We initially hired him to take on our case because he won a majority of his cases. Do not. I repeat do NOT settle for a subpar attorney when your reputation rests on another mans shoulders. This lawyer knows how the legal system works from a to z and if you are being falsely accused he will fight for you until the end. He worked tirelessly along with is assistant to get a false charge dismissed and was successful. Do not waste your time looking at reviews that say anything negative about this lawyer. I fell victim to a debt settlement company. I brought my damaged finances and credit to Ron. I was devastated I took pride in my credit and the only way out of the mess was bankruptcy. Ron was real he told me what I needed to do to improve , I was so stuck on being taken advantage of but he helped me realize it's in the past and there are tools to get right back where I was . I was in a pretty bad car accident and waited a week sitting in pain because I wasn’t sure how to proceed and get help… My dad and sister referred me to Skiber Law office. They got me on a free consultation the same day I called, I explained everything, and they got to work right away.

I hired Att. Adler in January 2020 for a criminal case. I can not recommend anyone more than him. I can't recommend Attorney Richard Grabow highly enough! I finally have federal disability support (SSDI) because I contracted with him. I would not have been able to successfully navigate the disability appeals process without him and his assistant Melissa. It was very difficult to find someone to take my case, as I am considered very young for disability and because (as Attorney Grabow explained) the system is not really set up to assess people with my many complex, chronic conditions. After a lot of hard work and an extremely long time of searching, I found two others willing to take my case, but after in-person consults, it was no contest that I wanted to go with Grabow. He was obviously very busy so he had to be very direct and to the point about everything, but I appreciate the efficiency and candor. He looked at my work history and medical summary, and he laid out the difficulties of my application but the reasons why I could (and obviously should) qualify. He also explained more of an inside perspective on how the system works, expected wait times, etc. The other folks I considered hiring did not seem nearly as competent nor were they as thorough or candid about things.
Basically, how the office functions is that most communications are with his assistant Melissa and Richard directly communicates when needed. Melissa is friendly, helpful, and has more time for answering questions. Richard is understandably more rushed and some might perceive him as a bit gruff, but again, the efficiency, directness and high level of competence is what I prefer. (And, what works!)
For anyone starting the disability process, some other helpful info:
-Grabow operates on a common disability attorney method where you can contract with him and he does not receive payment unless you win your case. If you win, he is automatically paid a % from your backpay, with a cap. This was a godsend for me as, of course, I was destitute by the time I found him.
-Contracting with a lawyer is extremely important and helpful, but you still have to stay on top of everything that you can yourself. For example, I always take notes, and Grabow mentioned a certain type of paperwork early in the process. I brought it up with him further into the process ("I have X in my notes. Should we be doing that soon?") and his take seemed to be, "We don't need that right now. Let's not do work until we need to do work and have everything as current as possible." Luckily, I pressed him on it to give it to me the forms to get to my doctor...and then, surprisingly, my case processing got pushed up EARLIER than expected, we did need that paperwork, and we had it in the nick of time. All this is to say, I don't think I would have been approved without his work on my case, but you still need to be engaged in the process.
In sum, I am extremely glad and grateful that I used Richard and Melissa!! I was disabled for 10 years without support, and I am finally in the next chapter of my life because of their help. I can't thank them enough!!!

I recently spoke to John Mager about retaining him to represent me for my custody case. I was highly recommended to him by another top attorney that represented my friend in another area of the state. John was not able to take my case because the courts dates conflicted with his schedule, but John was extremely compassionate and spent over 45 minutes on the phone with me (and I concluded the call, not him, he seemed as if he would stay on the phone as long as I needed, even though I know he was very busy with other cases) , providing me with advice on how to find another attorney, and gave me some recommendations on who to call. I was really impressed with how kind John was to spend this time helping me just out of the kindness of his heart. It is such a difficult task to find a good attorney, so I wanted to offer my advice since I have done some homework on this, and what I can say is that the attorney that referred him has excellent results in Stamford courts and he wouldn't have recommended John if John wasn't great with this area of the law.

Twenty-two years ago I received a notice from a lawyer representing a vendor over a relatively small bill that I firmly felt was bogus. Went to my lawyer and he agreed the claim was weak at best and would likely be voided if the vendor/lawyer pursued the claim. My lawyer then recognized who the notice was from - Kerry M. Wisser. At that point he indicated it might well be better to just pay the bill rather than go up against Mr. Wisser. Being quite stubborn and armed with solid facts I excused my lawyer and would handle this claim myself. I contacted Mr. Wisser and over a period of a month spoke to him no less than a handful of times. Mr. Wisser's advocacy for his client was creative and unbending, to the point he made me feel I in fact owed the contested amount. Not being able to convince Mr. Wisser to drop the claim I attempted to negotiate and settle it, that didn't work either. Finally, I agreed to pay the entire amount under one condition - Mr. Wisser would meet for lunch and pick up the tab. Paying that bogus bill was the best money I have ever spent. From that luncheon to this day Mr. Wisser has represented me exclusively in all ligation matters both offensively and defensively with great success. I recommend few people because of the obvious responsibility for such a recommendation. However, I have easily recommended Mr. Wisser to at least a couple of dozen individuals who have utilized his services over the years and I have never heard anything but glowing thank you's. If your looking for a lawyer that is as comfortable in a courtroom as he is at a ball game, he's your man. Kerry M. Wisser is in a class by himself!

I am in the type of business where litigation does come up at times, and I have found Kerry Wisser to be a super lawyer in the affairs that he has managed for me. He has accomplished things involving cases that I have been involved with that I know other lawyers just wouldn't have been able to do. I have found that nobody can pull the wool over Kerry's eyes. He knows the law in and out and he knows how to apply it in the best way possible to protect and / or promote his client. There can be a lot laying on the line with any case. And there are many lawyers out there to choose from. However, just getting a lawyer for the sake of having a lawyer is not the way to handle it. I have found that if I really want to give my self the best possible chance of winning, it's not just any lawyer that can make a difference but what lawyer. I met Tony almost 8 years ago when I hired him to do some legal work for me. Through the years I've found him to be a great lawyer, and a good man. That last part is important to me. He is well connected to his family, and to his community. He is not a billboard and late night infomercial huckster, that is for sure. In my industry I've met hundreds of attorneys of all types. Tony was the one I chose to represent me with my own case. Being in the personal injury/insurance industry I had my choice of people to use. I selected Tony not only because of the respect I had for him, but the respect the legal community, the judiciary, and most importantly the insurance industry has for him. He is a straight shooter and will call it as he sees it, even if he disagrees with you. He is not a game player, but is firm his in posture and position on cases. Working with someone in the industry is sometimes more difficult, and he did his best to talk me off the ledge a few times. My case was eventually brought to a great resolution, in no short order because of my attorney. I've not been a "client" of Tony's in two capacities, and I have nothing but good things to say. I've also referred my friends and family to him for criminal cases, real estate transactions, and most recently an case involving a young child. Pass right by the phone book, billboard, and television hucksters and know that your case will be handled in the best way possible, NOT just for a quick buck.
