Hired Mr Ferris after the absent father of my child reappeared and wanted timesharing. Mr Ferris was always very responsive and took the time to explain everything to me about family law cases and was realistic about the complexities of my situation. I came to Scott with an impossible divorce case. It was 2-1/2 years old, the previous attorney had multiple health issues and had grossly under-litigated my case. In 3 months time he got all the depositions done, 2 case management hearings, motions heard a mediation, and was ready for trial. Scott did more in 3 months than the other attorney did in 2-1/2 years! I wish I would have started with Scott Ferris!

People rely on lawyers and attorneys, usually, at points in their life that they'd rather not talk about. But, that's how it goes. Mr. Fuste was that attoney that for me at the point I needed him he went through every single step of the way with me when I had lost hope and thought I had lost my career in law enforcement. Mr. Fuste gave me the motivation and showed me that there was a light at the end of every dark tunnel. Mr. Fuste even checked on my well being do to the stress and traumatic experience I was passing. They had released me of my duties and told me I was no longer going to be receiving any payment. Mr. Fuste worked extremely diligently on my case and for the five months I had been released sitting at home he was able to still get me my payments. Mr. Fuste finalized and won the case after just 5 months. I returned back to work thanks to him I am where I am today and continue doing what I love most.

People rely on lawyers and attorneys, usually, at points in their life that they'd rather not talk about. But, that's how it goes. Mr. Fuste was that attoney that for me at the point I needed him he went through every single step of the way with me when I had lost hope and thought I had lost my career in law enforcement. Mr. Fuste gave me the motivation and showed me that there was a light at the end of every dark tunnel. Mr. Fuste even checked on my well being do to the stress and traumatic experience I was passing. They had released me of my duties and told me I was no longer going to be receiving any payment. Mr. Fuste worked extremely diligently on my case and for the five months I had been released sitting at home he was able to still get me my payments. Mr. Fuste finalized and won the case after just 5 months. I returned back to work thanks to him I am where I am today and continue doing what I love most.

It's rare to find anything good to say these days about virtually anything, but we have found an exception in the legal work of Steven Swartz, Esq. of Carballo Law, P.A.!
We were in a position of having to put through a travel insurance claim for our elderly parents' 6-week trip abroad that had to be cancelled due to a medical condition. The trip had been booked for mid July 2020 and we filed the claim in the beginning of May. For nearly four months we were stonewalled by the insurance company, who remained completely unresponsive to our numerous communications and then ultimately denied our claim outright... twice! We finally called Steven based on a personal recommendation, and right from our initial phone consultation we knew we had the right guy. He quickly ascertained the legitimacy of our position within the policy criteria, digested all the steps we had taken thus far, and turned out a 100-page detailed response including evidence and on-point legal citations that was followed up by the filing of a bad faith grievance with the Florida DFS and ultimately resulted in the payment of our claim... all in a little over a month! We could never have achieved such a successful outcome without him!
But more than just securing our claim, Steven was a true pleasure to work with. I live in Texas and received a speeding ticket while returning from Spring Break in Florida - doing 110 in a 70 mph zone, which makes things a lot worse in terms of fines and points since the speed was more than 35 mph higher than the speed limit. My fault and everything, road was very clear and I wasn't paying attention to the speedometer, and the device used was a laser gun. Also when stopped I had my old insurance papers (had just renewed it, but I forgot to print the new ones) so that was another ticket. I hired Estrella ticket defense since it would have been very difficult to fly or drive to Florida to attend the court date. They took care of everything for me and got the speeding ticket ruling to be "withheld adjudication", with no points or fines, paying only court fees; and for the insurance one they presented the proof of insurance and had the ticket dropped. The judge wanted me to pay court fees for the insurance citation, but they had the court fees dropped as well after filing a motion since I could prove I had valid insurance at the time of the citation, just didn't have the paperwork on me.
Overall I am very pleased with how they represented me in this matter and how they kept me informed. Their cost was high but this is due to the ticket nature, and were half that of another well reviewed firm on Avvo. Overall very pleased - hopefully i won't need them again, but if I do I, will definitely use them again.

I got a traffic ticket for something I felt was not my fault, and I lived out of the state it occurred in so I was not able to appear to represent myself. Rafael Millares' law firm took care of it for less than the cost of the ticket. So I'm pleased.

Rob very successfully represented our family (our son) in a medical malpractice case involving a birth injury where our son suffered brachial plexus at birth. From the very first conversation I had with Rob he was upfront and honest about how difficult cases like ours can be but he was also very reassuring and confident that he could and would get us the justice we deserved. Through the entire process Rob and his firm were truly superior in their handling of our case. I always felt like I was informed and kept up to date on what was going on with the case and if ever I had questions or concerns I could call or email at anytime and always received a prompt response. Rob would take time (at all hours) to call me personally and answer any of my questions and was very reassuring in guiding me through the whole process of the case. Going through the legal process can be daunting and very emotional. For the most part, unfortunately when you need an attorney it's because you need help with a difficult situation. That's what I received from Francisco Cieza, help. I found myself in a scary situation where I was taken advantage of and I didn't know what to do. I had never been in trouble or been in a situation where I needed a lawyer, but here I was! Francisco quickly defused my anxiety by giving me the facts of my case. This was going to be a process. I had questions, he had answers. I was nervous, he calmed me down. I never waited too long for a response whether it was a reply to an email or a phone call that he missed due to helping another client.
