I retained Mr. Gonzalez for a criminal case where I was accused of shoplifting. It is a long story, but my 2 year old daughter had something in the stroller that I did not know about. Mr. Gonzalez reviewed the matter with me and gave me excellent advice. He told me that I could go to trial and that my chances of winning at trial were excellent, but that the State of Florida does not permit the sealing or expungment of a jury acquital. While I was angry at the whole process and at first thought that Mr. Gonzalez was just trying to avoid taking my case to trial, I came to realize that I could not have paid a million dollars for this advice and had a better result. Mr. Gonzalez took a lot of grief from me and at some point stopped taking my calls because I was simply too emotional about the whole thing. Mr. Gonzalez's advice never changed no matter how much I raised different issues about my case. When we showed up to court it was clear that the Court and the State Attorney knew Mr. Gonzalez very well and rolled the red carpet out for him. I did not matter that we had not spoken for a month. He was in court and I just did what he told me. I accepted the diversion program, the case was dismissed and Mr. Gonzalez handled the expungment. That was about a year ago. I recently received a job offer from a major financial institution which required a background check. I stated as advised by Mr. Gonzalez that I had never been arrested or convicted of any crimes involving theft, dishonesty, or fraud. I am now living in New York City in my dream job with lots of responsibility and great income. All I can do is say Thank You!

My wife and I were referred to Mr. Chohonis by one of my wife's co-workers. We were having issues with our landlord regarding termites in our apartment and other issues with our lease. Mr. Chohonis walked us though our issue, explained to us with great detail what we had to work with, and what we could do. Throughout the whole process, he kept in constant contact, looped us in with every email and phone conversation had with our landlord, and at the end of it all was able to get us out of our lease without ever having to take it to court.

The worst Atterney I could have ever chosen in my life. He left on vacation when my hearing was set. Then sent someone that didn’t have a clue hat was going on with my case. Worst mistake of my life as far as picking an Atterney. Huge mistake. He left when I needed him and paid him for. Then never answered. Huge mistake choosing Manny a Perez. Huge mistake. I happen to be one of those people that have been convicted of something g I did not do because I chose the wrong Atterney. At the end Manny told me I could just switch to another Atterney if I want after he took my money. Horrible experience. Don’t hire this guy. Hey tried to pursue me for additional money after he didn’t show up at my hearing. Horrible experience. I totally made a huge mistake by hiring Many Perez. The worst thing is that my mistake will now follow me for the rest of my life, from something that I am innocent of. He had no interest in my case at all. He left on vacation and ignored me while I stood in court alone. But charged me for that. Again. Huge mistake.
