She also did not inform me of many important things like not talking to the insurance claims adjuster who was representing the person that hit me. She did the minimal amount of work for me and did not seem to care at all for my well being. I wish I would have taken the advice of friends in the la area to seek out new representation. If you want a lawyer who is thorough and passionate about your needs do not go to Ms Gorin. Being very unreachable and only being able to communicate to her through her paralegal Karina was very unsettling as well.

In my own opinion as a former client Termechi law group did a very poor job in my case. Bobby Termechi has been very aggressive in pushing me to settle on the first offer. He literally said I was guilty of what the company was claiming. He also gave me $500 out of his own pocket to settle, then retracted it after I agreed. He did send it once the company cut the check but it was very unethical. I’ve literally had to fight against the company and my own attorney to get a proper settlement. And now, after repeated requests for my case file to be sent to me as is my right and being told I would have it by this Friday, again nothing. I even fired them and they refused to be fired. I DO NOT recommend this attorney and his firm.

Update: My application was approved the first time without the help of an attny, and AFTER Ms. Ruzin told me I wouldn’t be approved unless I was currently hospitalized for attempting suicide, blind, or can’t use my arms. Guess again, Ms. Ruzin. I was approved for both physical issues and brain injury, and I didn’t need to be insulted and belittled to get it.
I’ve never spoken to anyone so callous, arrogant, apathetic, condescending, cavalier & narcissistic in my life as Ms Ruzin. After dropping off a file detailing numerous physical issues, mental decline in concert w/ 3-5 medical appts each wk for the last 38 wk, which Involve an inordinate amount of time, see 10 drs currently & 18 in the past 15 mo, Ms. Ruzin called me at 4:30PM. Her demeanor is cold w/ an inflated view of her own talent & importance. She kept RUDELY cutting me off while going thru the most difficult period of my life. She SHUT me DOWN. Her first question was, “What did you do in the last 5 years for work?” That info was in the file I left for her but began to answer. Gd forbid I began to state where I had worked, bc that clearly annoyed her & she spoke over me immediately. “I don’t need DETAILS. I need to know WHAT you did.” She cut me off again & asked what conditions were preventing me from working. As I began to answer, she cut me off AGAIN. She focused on the least serious condition I’d mentioned & ran w/ it. As I tried to speak & explain more, struggling w/ some cognitive issues that make it difficult to find my words verbally, she sharply cut me off again. She stated that if I didn’t like that then maybe I needed to find another attny. As I tried to find the words, she cut me off again.I kept thinking, “Did you even READ 1 pg?” She said things like, “It doesn’t matter what happened to you before or what you’ve been through” & “if you don’t have a mental condition or a condition that affects your upper limbs or have conditions that cause you to miss so much work that you can’t be employable, then it doesn’t matter. You won’t get disability.” My daughter & I just stared at one another bc that’s the primary thing I detailed. I started to reply & she cut me off AGAIN. “Can you use your arms?! What drs are you seeing now?” I tried to answer again, but she cut me off AGAIN at the 5th specialist & told me it wasn’t relevant. After being shut down repeatedly by a perceivably overbearing narcissist, She accused me of not letting HER finish.My daughter was trying to tell me to hang up, but I couldn’t hear her over Ms. Ruzin’s punishing verbal assault. I just shook my head at my daughter and held my hands in the air, mimicking “what am I supposed to do here?” I completely stopped talking & let Ms. Ruzin finish her seemingly grandiose tantrum, and after a few seconds of silence, she said, “Hello?” “May I talk now?” I asked. Feeling defeated, I began to explain that I’ve lost all hope & am on the verge of contemplating suicide. She cut me off AGAIN!! “Look I’M AN ATTORNEY! It doesn’t matter” & started rattling off more remarks to discourage me by stating that unless I’m mentally unstable or have no arms that the agency will reject my app. At that point I raised my voice to meet hers. “I’ve attempted to commit suicide before” She replied “It doesn’t matter if you’ve tried to commit suicide unless you’ve tried to commit suicide during your last job or are in ongoing mental health counseling” She said that she doesn’t want to waste her time if she doesn’t know that she’s going to win bc it’s strictly on contingency.Is she saying that she only takes easy cases? 18 diff dr, 20 diff Rx, 2 surgeries 18 med tests a brain scan is too complex for her? Her brash delivery is rude, intolerant, incapable of seeing the bigger picture. Her insensitive remarks exacerbated my mental breakdown, giving the impression that she perceives me as nothing more than an unmotivated & lazy fraud. Yes, Ms Ruzin, you ARE a lawyer; & I am a woman in the apex of crisis, as one may assume all your clients & potential clients are.

I had a tainted contact lens that left me legally blind in one eye (3 months later I regained most of vision, thankfully.)
I called numerous attorneys and none would take such a "Risky case" with tricky insurance issues, as well.
Thank goodness I found Ms Vahdat (Amy). Amy accepted my case, addressed the insurance issue and settled my "Risky" case, in a timely manner with a far larger settlement than I expected.
Along with her phenomenal "hard" skills, (i.e., above) Ms Vahdat displays "soft" skills. She is honest, compassionate, listens exceptionally well, returns calls prompty and authentically cares about her clients.
She is young (in age not experience) and pretty. I assumed she was a junior associate attorney even I had her business card that revealed she owns the firm.
My only complaint is that she doesn't handle *all* legal problems in *all* states. That is impossible, though.

I really wish I had not used this firm! It’s been over a year since my accident, going on 2 years but the insurance has paid and all the bills have been paid! The lady that answers the phone doesn’t have any kind of true customer satisfaction skills at all! She told me my claim is complete but then says that it takes time to make sure all is paid! There should not be a complete ID there’s still bills to pay!
And my case manager is so non informational during this process! When I ask about my settlement I’m told that billing delivers checks 2-3 times a month and there’s been no deliveries this month! WOW! Wonder why this is?
There are so many other injury firms, choose one of them not this one, you’ll be disappointed!

This attorney, has been the best thing had happened to me! I've been in accidents before and soe attorneys promise things and never do what they tell you they would do. ! Maria explained everything and her team was very helpful updating me with my case and fighting even when insurance made it very difficult. I was a little skeptical with all the bad reviews but I had to see for myself because my friend spoke highly of her. I set up a meeting with the attorney and she explained everything to me and has been by my side every step of the way. Honestly this was my first accident in 30 yrs I didn't know what to do or where to go. They helped me get my car repaired and my doctor for my therapy's was so sweet, I enjoined visiting her office. I’m writing this review in the hope that it reaches the attorneys at this firm, as I’m genuinely disappointed with how my case was handled by the intake manager, Julie Valdivia.
Back in July, I reached out to this office about potentially opening a case due to severe allergic reactions caused by a bedbug infestation in my apartment. I am a single mother and was on maternity leave at the time, and this issue ultimately led to me losing my job. Despite following up after not hearing back, I was met with dismissive and rude behavior. Julie mentioned she hadn’t responded because I didn’t provide a certain form, even though I had already sent numerous documents. When I questioned this, she abruptly closed my file.
Julie’s approach was unprofessional, as she even hung up on me during one of our calls. I believe this could have been a strong case, given my background working in an executive position for a Fortune 500 company and the hardship caused by this situation. Her handling of my case felt highly personal, as if she had made up her mind not to pursue it for reasons unrelated to the merits.
Worst customer experience.
