In 2015 I experienced an awful car accident, lost my job, and to this day continue to suffer from chronic pain. Stephen Sinas from day 1 explained everything to me regarding the process, used terminology I needed in order to understand, and truly showed a desire to advocate for me. He focused on my lost wages and my pain/suffering. It was an arduous process over the years but his determination reassured me all the while. Stephen Sinas came as a recommendation by my family's case manager; highly recommended at that. We've had--unfortunately--unpleasant and horrible experiences with prior attorneys, and thus, were skeptical.
However, since our case manager was fantastic, we took their advice and recommendation and sought out Stephen Sinas. Some skeptics may go by his young appearance, but that is simply not the case.
Mr. Sinas is a real attorney. One that will, and does, fight for his clients and goes the extra mile. He's extremely thorough and does not only do the job as your legal counsel but doesn't make you jump through hoops. He knows the No-Fault Auto law in Michigan well and he definitely does battle against the big name insurance companies.
You're not strung along, waiting for an answer or playing phone tag (while your bill is racking up) like other attorneys. There is no other legal counsel representative you could ask for. Simply put (and biased, by my fantastic experience) he is the best at what he does. He gets the job done and he helps the people.

After an auto crash I was involved in at the end of 2015, I was referred to Mike by a family friend. I was hesitant at first because he was an "unknown". In today's world, there are so many advertisements for personal injury attorneys that it makes it tough to decide. I hired Mike in early 2016 and liked how he was upfront with me about the process and provided realistic expectations. Unfortunately, I learned immediately that I didn't have enough coverage. This was hard to hear but a learning experience none the less. Throughout 2016, Mike kept me updated on my case as needed and he was always responsive when I had questions. In 2017, I settled the personal injury case. While I thought I deserved more(who doesn't), I was satisfied to get what I received and only just over a year from the crash.
As I left Mike's office in 2017, I didn't imagine ever going back.
Not because of anything Mike did but because I was moving forward and wanted this behind me. However, more injuries from the crash manifested themselves in 2017 and 2018 to the point where I was unable to work anymore. I set up a meeting with Mike in the summer of 2018 and ended up hiring him a second time to go after my insurance provider for loss wages and medical expenses. Mike advised us that we were within the three year window to collect and that he would be able to get those for me. After quite a bit of back and forth between the insurance provider, Mike, and myself, he was ultimately correct again and we received a settlement in November of 2019.
As evidenced by me hiring Mike twice within the last four years, I would recommend him to anyone involved in an auto accident in Michigan.

I was involved in a terrible boating accident and was very hesitant to get an attorney involved. After meeting Brian McKenna, as well as his partners, my wife and I both felt very comfortable going ahead with their team and are very happy we did. They are caring, professional, honest and will do everything they can to obtain a good settlement.
In addition to their expertise, they also provided 3 primary experts for my case, a psychologist, ongoing care consultant, and video expert. Having access to these very competent outside experts was extremely helpful to my case. Brian was always available to answer questions and take strategy suggestions from my wife and I. He didn’t mind any question or suggestion that we threw out. Brian’s communication skills were excellent. In my case, we were very involved and that was alright with Brian. We worked very well together as a team.

I had an issue with GoDaddy not releasing a domain name I owned in an old account. I tried for 2 years to resolve the issue with them to no avail. Some lawyers would not take my case since it was too small an issue. John and his team were happy to help, and with a single letter and the right contact he was able to have them respond immediately. I thought my attorneys Bobby Raitt and Alison Duffy were easy to get along with. What I really liked about them was that when I called with a question, they would call me back the same day. They worked as a team to help me with whatever I needed. They were just prompt with the information I needed and easy to work with. I was in a car accident, so they took care of all of the medical bills that kept getting sent to me. I didn't have to deal with the insurance companies anymore, because they took care of my PIP lawsuit and made sure I got all of my no fault benefits. I didn't have to deal with anything because I knew they were on the ball. Bobby and Alison also called me with updates, so I knew things were always moving toward a timely settlement.
