Mr. Gaertner has been a strong, determined and tenacious advocate for my needs and the cases he has handled for me. Mr. Gaertner is trustworthy, in that his word is his bond. He is compassionate and has always placed my needs ahead of anything else involved in the legal process, while still maintaining a professionalism that is unsurpassed by anyone I've had contact with in the field of law. His communication and people skills are unequalled as well. There has never been an occasion when a telephone call or email has gone unanswered. Mr. Gaertner is honest and is a realist. He has never promised the moon to appease me, and has had several opportunities to temper my frustration and emotion(s), when I was getting bent out of shape due to matters to which I had no full understanding of such. I'm old, and rural/country refined. I'm not accustomed to seeking or taking advise from young people. That is what elders are for. Mark Gaertner has my complete trust and respect in all matters of which, he is representing me. To say I have full faith and confidence in Mr. Gaertner is an understatement. Mark Gaertner is a man with whom I believe will remain a lasting friend, long after the legal matters have been put to rest. I would, and have, whole heatedly referred others to Mr. Gaertner. I first became professionally acquainted with Mark several years ago, when my daughter was struck by a drunk driver. His first concern was that her medical needs we're being properly attended to by all parties. It was then, that he began addressing the legal issues. I brought Mr. Gaertner into a workman's compensation matter in 2010, and he has worked diligently to insure that my medical needs were addressed and that I was not further victimized by the workman's compensation system. I hired Mr. Graham to help me deal with OPM and the MSPB board after the denials for disability retirement and the filing of my appeal. As a disabled Federal Employee, it is very hard to find anyone who even deals with these situations, let alone someone who is as great as he is. He listens, he explains in normal language, he understands the stress and will go out of his way to respond quickly, accurately and in a way that just puts you at ease and makes you feel confident that he has your back every step of the way. He is NOT one of those money hungry, arrogant guys who does not listen and just wants you to pay. Also he WILL take the case on contingency! I don't know of any other attorney who deals with MSPB that doesn't want thousands of dollars BEFORE taking your case. AMAZING! If you need help as I did, definitely call him. You will not regret it. When seeking out a Lawyer for an Automotive Personal Injury case my wife and I talked to several lawyers. Of those we landed on using Scott to handle our case. He was very professional and willing to help at all times. My wife is hard of hearing so it was important to me that we found someone patient. Scott was a perfect example of this. He was always willing to talk with us as many times as needed for clarification and understanding.
While the process to resolve our case took some time, Scott always took time to contact us and give us updates to make sure we knew things were still moving along. Once a settlement was reached Scott was there to explain all the details and make any recommendations we asked for, while not being overbearing.

My wife and I were in a car accident outside of Springfield Missouri when a semi truck pulled out of an intersection and did not see our truck. The semi struck my wife's side of the vehicle and caused us to over turn and roll off the road. While I suffered some injuries that were minor in comparison, she suffered head trauma and several broken bones along with internal bleeding.
Needless to say, I was a wreak, I could not even take in what had happened when the insurance company started calling, as we were rushed to the hospital I did not give a statement on scene and literally while she was in surgery I had the semi truck drivers insurance adjuster calling me to give him a recorded statement.
I tried to ignore their calls, but they were persistent. I needed to find an attorney and I did when I called Bishop and Hayes. From the moment I first made contact with their office, Tim called me back within minutes, he came to the hospital to meet with me the same day. I can't explain what a relief I felt after he left. The insurance and legal matters were all being handled, and I was able to just focus on my wife and our family.
We were first offered a settlement figure that was extremely lowball, so Tim worked to build a case against the driver was really understood the medical aspects of my wife's injuries in working with my doctors. They were able to get us a settlement that covered not only our immediate losses but gave us money that we needed for continued medical treatments for my wife.
I would just like to say thank you to the team at Bishop and Hayes and certainly Tim for all he was able to do for my wife and I.
