Just a warning that this firm will use their Engagement Letter to justify every billing an avoid crediting the client for any damages/expenses caused by their late/inaccurate billings. For examples, even when your clients are no longer around to reimburse you for their share of the firm's late billing, zero adjustment. They will not release/credit the retainer until you request it and all projects are finished (most attorneys who charge retainers apply it to the first few billings/months). But the kicker was when we were charged attorney ($750/hour rate) for the office task of scheduling a group call and they would not adjust it! All our other legal/accounting professionals adjust the billing to offset problems created by their firms mishandled actions, but not this one. Good luck!

I contacted the Vondran Law Firm over 10 days ago. The receptionist was short, seemingly in a hurry, and apparently disinterested in my call. I left my name and number asking for Steve or his assistant to call me back regarding a federal case in California. I never heard back from the firm.
One must ask, why does a law firm like this advertise and post videos on YouTube if when a new client contacts them they never even bother to call back?

Found Haasty at her initial firm she was with and she was awesome. She left that firm and I actually stuck with her and was happy with her attentiveness and compassion. My Family law case was a couple years total and a few months before I was to finally put the whole ordeal behind me, she literally disappeared. The only word I got from her new firm was that she was not available for my case and assigned me to another attorney I knew nothing about. A year and a half of hard work and trust tossed aside with not even an email from Haasty saying...well something at least. If it were just me involved that’s one thing but everything was and still is about my daughter and that’s the worst part. No explanation, we never had any slight hint of an argument, she had my total trust and vanished. Clearly she has come back into the google searches and good for her. But to anyone who might be thinking about retaining her, just keep it in the back of your mind to expect the unexpected from her.

Day One, I was scared and beyond afraid. Marybeth Halloway has helped me come a long way. My ex and I finalized our divorce in 2016. We only went to court 1 time. Custody- done in a few hours, TRO- done, she made sure to expressed what I wanted in the final round. She's not someone who can be pushed around. She's a strong force. She knows the OC courts very well and has the best bench manners. She's very well established and she's taken seriously. I was lucky to have her be the 2nd phone call I made as I was googling an atty. I got lucky. She is usually busy, bcs that's how good she is. I referred a friend of mine also 2 years ago. It was a bit difficult for him because there was somewhat of a language barrier, but he was very happy with the final divorce also. Be sure to know exactly what you want and she will help you. She was there for me all around the clock. She restored my faith in people i when my heart was shattered. She will tell you exactly how it is and will not candy coat anything. Disclaimer: The following message is all alleged claims to protect myself from A legal pursuit over my opinions on this man. I get a feeling he’s had some pre-conceived counter-retaliation for me anyways.
I was referenced to Ron’s legal practice by an allegedly abusive employer after losing my left arm to paralysis and fracturing my neck and every limb in my body from a hit and run pedestrian-vehicle accident.
My experiences with the firm would lead me to believe that you would probably be subject to further injury trusting his practice. And if you wised up to this sort of thing he has the network to gag you over it. I wouldn’t trust him again and I don’t think anyone should.
