Patrick went after Zurich Insurance like the pit-bull that he is. Called their counsel out for not being prepared for the initial phone conference with accident reports, doctors reports, general paperwork and wasting his clients time at the S.F. Dept. of Labor office. If this had been a street fight, Patrick would have put a beat down on these people. Very professional but a no nonsense lawyer. Thanks Patrick.

I hired Butler Viadro (Chris Viadro was my attorney) to represent me in my worker's comp injury case and am extremely grateful that I did. I was not sure if I should hire anybody, let alone a firm that I knew virtually nothing about... I am happy to say however that the decisions to hire an attorney, and to hire Chris Viadro of Butler Viadro, were beyond "smart" decisions and if I had to decide all over again, I would not change a thing.
Chris was very knowledgeable in worker's rights as well as injury laws and stipulations... and where he had questions about my case or my specific situation, he was honest about it and did the necessary research to find the answer and/or the best direction to take every time. Mr. Viadro is professional and it shows in meeting him in person as well as in his communications; with myself and with my worker's comp insurance adjusters alike. The best part of hiring Chris was not feeling pressured. He was patient, supportive and understanding, while also being honest and up front at all times. He never attempted to persuade me in any decision and always left me feeling in control and able to make the decision that was best for me and my family.
I only have one criticism of my experience: Because I hold service providers and professionals to the highest standards in all areas of my life, I have to say there could have been a little more time spent with me and on my case to a) help understand some of my questions better and b) be more explanatory in some areas where I had questions and wanted to understand the process more deeply. This being said, Chris has been accepting of this criticism and has promised to get to know future clients regarding their level of need rather than assume all have the same level of need.
If I had a reason to hire Chris again, I would feel completely comfortable and trusting doing so. In fact, it would put my mind at ease knowing he was working on my case. I would highly recommend Butler Viadro to anybody needing legal advocacy and representation in a worker's injury case.

Attorney David Smith and his staff are extremely professional, and I would hire them again.
I was injured badly in a car accident 100% the fault of another driver who has 10+ claims against their collision insurance.
Mr Smith met me immediately. He was very polite, friendly, professional, did *NOT* emphasize money ... and instead told me to take care of my health. His priorities are straight. He was genuine and looked me in the eye when he assured me to simply focus on recovery and taking care of myself rather than punishment or restitution.
He earned my trust, as an attorney and as a man.
His staff carefully helped me every step of the way. His main administrative manager, Mynita Bounthon, is very responsive and works hard. Their staff was very patient with me when I was intermittently difficult to get ahold of over the course of many years.
Ultimately, Mr Smith and his staff fought to ensure settlements which ensured all my medical and legal costs were covered and I was able to be compensated for my pain, lost work, longterm damage, physical therapy, etc.
I am a very satisfied client, and would highly recommend this attorney.

I would recommend Bob Salinas to anyone facing bad behavior from a landlord. We went to him when our landlord tried to illegally evict every person in our complex, and he guided us through the process of collecting evidence and responding to the eviction threats, and then helped us through mediation and to a settlement that kept us all in our homes.
The thing I really want to stress, though, is how kind and patient he is with his clients. Needless to say we were beyond anxious and stressed out over the landlord's threats, but he was always there for us, giving us so much more of his time than he had to -- even though our case was much smaller than many of the other cases his firm handles.
Going with the Salinas Law Group is one of the best decisions we've ever made.

Jennifer helped us in our disability case for our disabled adult Son. She was informative, intelligent, attentive and honest. Before we met Jennifer the social security system had become extremely frustrating and discouraging. On our own we had already applied and appealed and had been turned down twice as a result of lack of medical records that were not being sent by the Hospital and Doctors offices. It had become so discouraging but I knew for my Sons sake that I had to try one more time. I could not have imagined appealing again and going into the hearing without a great attorney. I hired Jennifer the same day that I met her. After failing to be approved for disability submitting my own case twice, I retained Ms. Solomon who organized my massive amount of information,culling the most relevant facts and photographs. She helped me understand exactly what we needed to prove and verify to win approval. She always responded promptly to my calls or emails, and was kind and supportive. I was a bit unnerved when we arrived in court and the photographs of my very red swollen auto immune rashes had been printed in black and white, and the final report had a few inaccuracies which I had not had a chance to review and correct. The bottom line is that we won the case anyway, and I don't think that would have been possible on my own. Overall it was as good as this type of experience could be.

Pros:
1+ The attorney took the time to thoroughly read and understand my case, which was incredibly reassuring.

3+ I was well-prepared for my hearing, thanks to her diligent coaching and guidance.
4+ Her expertise in immigration law was evident throughout the process.
5+ She has a solid understanding of what USCIS and immigration judges expect from immigrants, which added a lot of value to my case.
Cons:
1- The billing structure was a bit of a challenge. She charged for every communication made with USCIS ang Immigration court, which added up quickly. A flat rate would have been preferable for predictability.
2- Unfortunately, she had to reschedule my individual hearing at the last minute due to a personal trip. It was really frustrating as I had been waiting for it for so long.
Overall:
