I wish to share the wonderful experience I had working with Attorney Bianca Renee Ennix.
Several months ago, my mother , who is a senior citizen, unfortunately took a very bad fall. This was extremely traumatic for her and my family. We did not know which way to go. She needed medical attention and legal representation.
She began receiving medical care by her own health care provider. Then the telephone calls started. She received numerous calls from rude and obnoxious insurance adjusters who wanted to immediately settle her case for pennies. It was definitely time to seek legal counsel.
Mom hired attorney Bianca Ennix. This was truly a blessing. Mom felt comfortable with Bianca from their first meeting and beyond. Attorney Ennix was not only extremely knowledgeable , but very compassionate as well.
These are just a few examples of Bianca's skills and talents:
We hired Bianca two months after the accident. Bianca was very honest and said this time frame would make our case very challenging. She did not back away from the challenge.
Her first step was to provide Mom with the best possible medical care. She recommended excellent medical providers. Mom had outstanding physicians and physical therapists. She even received
fresh baked cookies from one of her doctors.
During the duration of Mom's case the insurance company was sold to two other companies. This
was yet another challenge that Bianca did not shy away from. She remained persistent in making sure
the case was settled.
What a BRILLIANT job she did. She settled the case and was able to get Mom more than two times her
medical bills. She also reduced Mom's medical bills in half. (From 24k to 11k.) Wow !

I had a bad time with this lawyer. She was never there and did not return my calls. I went to her office a few times and she was not there, even for appointments. Her mother is her staff, that's all. Not very good. She did nothing and charged me a lot. I could have done it myself. I don't think she is very good.

We engaged Ms. Traum to represent us in a civil suit against our HOA. We had been experiencing inequitable enforcement of the governing documents and discrimination.
Ms. Traum advised us to start by having her place a pone call to the HOA attorney suggesting ADR, prior to filing papers. We discussed our budget and what we were looking for in a law firm. She gave us her hourly rate and the amount she would require to make a call and file papers. We were to be refunded the difference should the call be successful and from the start it was to be a limited scope agreement. We notified her to go ahead with the call in response to her detailed (overly detailed and often redundant) email. A few days later she informed us she would not make a call, wanted twice the amount we had paid her to put her name on our filings and that we had to be in pro per. Exactly what we did not want to be. It was too late for us to engage anyone else as it was at the 11th hour she made this complete switch and in contradiction to our retainer agreement both written and oral. She
painted us into a corner, deprived us of a very important first step which we had relied on her and her word to perform. We now had to file, and it was two hours before the deadline to do so that she finally emailed us the documents. They were incomplete and inaccurate, and there was nothing we could do. No time to revise, no time to amend. She had taken our funds, paid for specific services she did not perform. Our case was low priority, and our opinion, taken for easy money. To add insult to injury, she then attempted to justify this highly unacceptable conduct through an invoice in which she
claimed she gave us a deal. Highly insulting and extremely false. We deeply regret our association with her.

Met with Mr. Brown for representation of an unlawful detainer action. He was late to our appointment. He was convincing in that I had a good case of retaliation from my landlord.
I retained his services only to met with a cocky attitude (even though he was inexperienced in landlord tenant matters) and a take or leave it approach to litigation. We did not agree on his litigation strategy and subsequently he quit.
In his motion to terminate, he embellished his reasonings by suggesting I was difficult and and done things to jeopardize my case. This was a complete and total fabrication of the facts in order to relieved from the matter. Additionally, I discovered after the matter had been settled he withheld critical information about hearing dates that were masked.
My advice? When you identify a red flag, WALK AWAY. He has been disciplined by the CA Bar for a reason!

I was referred to this lawyer by my insurance company. I had a simple task at hand for him to complete but he had to overcomplicate things. He was slow from the beginning. When he finally got around to business, he drafted a contract and then asked me to review it. When I had a basic question about the contract, he advised:
"If you don't want me to be your lawyer. That's fine.
Good Luck with your future endeavors."
I never said that I didn't want him to be my lawyer but with that comment I took him up on his offer without hesitation.
This lawyer came across as childish, overly emotional and unprofessional to me.

Hien is a very kind lawyer, and there is not too many out there! I hired a cunning lawyer at San Mateo for over thousands of dollars, who messed up my case and he never showed up at court for over 5 times, he only had his assistant to show-up and kept postponing my case. I could not stand taking days off from work for nothing, so i hired Hien. He was great, efficient, and help me settle my case quickly. My experience with Mr. Shock was the worst legal experience of my life.
I experienced neglect, breach of confidence, and laziness.
Just 13 days before a trial, he had still failed to get my medical records, and the matter at hand was a personal injury lawsuit.
He said that if we went to trial, I would be personally liable for $50,000, payable to the defense. And I was in the car that got rear-ended in a nasty accident.
For any competent attorney, this case would have been a slam dunk.
