I was in a minor fender bender in 2001. After wasting two days on the phone with the insurances, my husband told me to find a lawyer. I found Mr. Dalton and he even reffered me to a chropractor, who in turn sent me to a message theropist. If I had not found him I would have been in pain and not able to seek treatment till after I delivered.

Other than a very quick and impersonal Arbitration, he was knowledgable with my case because he took the time to read it thoughally before we arrived. It took me exactly three minutes to decide I needed Gary fighting my case in our consultation. And today, the day we settled, I am glad I picked him. I didn't even have to explain to him what outcome I was looking for. He just listened to my situation, then told me exactly how he would fight my case, what the timeline would be, what he would need from me, and what I could expect from him. Every single time I talked to him, he answered every question I had - almost before I could think of them. He is incredibly quick-thinking and will keep going until he gets results. While Malheur county DHS in Ontario OR. persisted to file bogus claim after claim against my husband and myself. I mean over 10 claims.

Brian Zanotelli was very knowledgeable about my case. He was compassionate and really listened to what I told him, and believed me. He also has a strong desire to improve the justice system, and will very willingly call their bluff when he feels a prosecutor has gone too far. He let me know which charges I could admit to without it harming me, yet also helped me get the prosecutor and DHS to admit that most of the charges were unreasonable. I was injured in a slip and fall case back in 2014. When the insurance company would not quit harassing me, I decided I needed an attorney. I live in Seattle, so I started there. I called every attorney that was also licensed in Oregon (the accident happened in Oregon). I must have spoken to at least 15 attorneys who laughed me off because it was a slip and fall. They didn't want to hear about it, even when I knew they didn't have to prove liability, just damages.
Some attorney in Oregon referred me to Jose. He listened to me, heard me tell him how liability was already clear and that damages was the only issue that needed to be resolved. Because of this, I got a settlement that was more than any slip and fall that I had ever seen. In fact, I have never seen a slip and fall win. Jose was excellent in handling my auto accident case. He was very knowledgeable and personable throughout the process, and was always available to answer questions and help me navigate through the complex nature of my case. We traveled from Utah for a two week bicycling vacation in Oregon. Our first ride, first hour we were hit by an RV mirror it shattered my left humerus and caused my wife to crash too with numerous injuries. Upon returning home a friend knew this firm and reputation for handling bike v auto accidents. We researched this law firm and on our first phone call late on a Friday afternoon, Jim Coon took the time to explain Oregon bike (friendly) law; some legislated by their firm, and how his firm could help us through the insurance claim - alleviating our concerns for the claim so we could focus on healing (year long process). The claim involved two insurance companies and a mountain of medical which his staff assisted in managing throughout the nearly two year process. They were able to bring about the settlement we were expecting and manage our fiduciary responsibilities in the closure of the case. I have used Ralph for several civil cases where I was seeking damages. I was very pleased by Ralphs results and professionalism and his ability to communicate on a personal level . Some lawyers spend very little time learning about there client or actually hearing what a client says but not Ralph . There are bad attorneys. There are mediocre, good, and great attorneys. Then there are attorneys of Mr. Kesselring's caliber, for whom there are simply few rivals. He is, without question, the most clever, curious, competent, composed, and compassionate attorney I have ever worked with (and I have worked with quite a few). I am continually impressed by John's legal finesse and acuity, his simultaneous efficacy and efficiency, and his intrinsic ability to digest a legal complexity, contemplate the relevant variables, and formulate a strategy for best approaching the matter. To top it all off, he's also just so incredibly personable and easy to talk to. He takes his time to explain things, answers thoughtfully, and clearly has his clients' best interest at heart. John has navigated us through a very emotional and difficult probate matter after a terrible experience with our first attorney and I mean it when I say I have felt thankful every single day since John has taken over. I had telephoned several attorneys regarding my situation. None of them viewed my case as I did; there was something wrong with the timing of a work-related injury claim
and my employment being terminated.
Then, someone referred me to Christopher Slater.
I was instantly impressed with his honesty, knowledge of the law, and how well informed he was of the particular requirements for the industry in which I was employed.
He expressed confidence, patience, and the value of timing with regards to filing my complaint with the proper court.
Christopher's genuine concern regarding my current medical condition was a relief and he advised me to "take care of it first".
Christopher spent a great deal of time on the phone during the initial conference and everytime afterwards.
He was easy to talk with and always straightforward; often using metaphors to get his point across.
And always he made certain I had no questions at the end of all conversations.
I appreciated his mindfulness of my time and distance from his office.
Office meetings were kept to a bare minimum.
The discussions regarding plan of procedures, his work on a contingency basis, and the difference between costs and fees were done via phone or email.
He made sure I understood my responsibilities before, during, and after the process of filing a suit.
The defendent eventually offered a settlement following a decision made by the State of Oregon courts during discovery.
I met with Christopher and the adjudicator to negotiate.
It was apparent he is a plaintiff's lawyer, as he often referred to himself.
I am certain his ethics, values, and professionalism appear very well in a courtroom.
I have a great deal of respect for Christopher and highly recommend him to anyone with questions regarding employment and disablilities.

Melissa Chureau expertly addressed communication from opposing counsel in defense of our company in a timely fashion. She was sensitive to the financial restraints of our company when deciding on a particular course of action. She demonstrated an outstanding ability to remain focused and on topic during 8 straight hours of difficult depositions for two days in a row. Melissa was able to explain the legal process to me, someone with no prior experience with lawsuits and courts, in a way that was easy to understand. There are two things we would like to cover in this review for Tom Melville.
First would be our good fortune in actually finding
Mr. Melville. We do not live in the Portland area and went forward with hiring him on the recommendation of another Attorney (who is a friend in the State of Oregon). Our first meeting was friendly, casual, and professional. This wrongful death case was going to have to be handled long distance and he made certain we were well informed and prepared. Never did we feel like we were left with unanswered questions.
Secondly, This case was complicated in many ways but I think the biggest part was to prove that our sister's death was indeed hastened by the after affects of this collision and Not cancer (which was listed on her death certificate).
Two weeks after retirement our sister was broad sided by a large delivery truck that ran a stop sign on a rural road. She was in the hospital for a month...and never recovered. A LOT of effort was made by Mr. Melville to secure medical records and present proof that her broken neck, leg and back led her down a pathway she didn't deserve and the quality of life in her last month is not one she hoped for or planned.
The settlement was fair and we are absolutely pleased with the outcome. He fought hard for us every step of the way!
We surely found the right person for our case and ....
