Scott K. and his team at Forum Law Group were extremely professional and were a blessing to work with during the most difficult time after Dan was injured and became paraplegic due to being struck by a car while crossing the street in Portland, OR.
We were able to focus on Dan's healing while they managed the legal issues and all details of dealing with the various insurance companies. Yadira Ramirez is an excellent attorney. I was blindsided by false sexual assault allegations. Yadira was always calm, cool and collected. I felt she had my best intentions. She had a lot of patience when I got angry or upset because I didn't understand how the courts work, or how lawyers communicate with the courts, and also the laws. I felt more at ease once when she thoroughly explained how court proceedings take place. Although, I could not ever be fully at ease because of the implications in my case. We had evidence that showed my innocence. But even with that, I still felt anxiety because of how inconsistent the courts in America are. Yadira could have told me that I had a airtight case and that we were going to win in court. But she was honest and said that courts are unpredictable and that she can't guarantee a victory. Which I understand. But she also said that we do have good evidence and that would show favorably for me in court.
Court was set for a Friday, and on Monday my accuser decided she wanted a consent agreement. I did not know what that was, and Yadira thoroughly explained what it was.
The first draft of the consent agreement their attorney sent Yadira was bogus and unfair. Yadira told me to stand firm and not accept the terms. Yadira redlined the document an added language in my favor. Their side sent back another agreement, and Yadira once again said to stand my ground and not accept it...
So finally 2 days before we're supposed to go to court. My accuser and her attorney caved and gave in to our terms and a much more favorable consent agreement, which ended up in a dismissal of my accuser's restraining order against me...
I was extremely anxious and nervous the entire time, 3 months of absolute hell. Yadira gave me my life back and restored a little faith in the legal system. There are lawyers out there that 100% care about their clients and Yadira is absolutely one that cares.
I recommend Yadira for any legal matters regarding restraining orders.

Thomas Ybarra is a highly organized and knowledgeable attorney and I'm so grateful for his attention to detail when it came to my divorce proceedings. He was always honest with me about what to expect and also heard me when I told him what I wanted/needed. He was able to successfully argue my position for sole custody of my two children, secure me spousal support and child support, and negotiate an agreement that allowed me to keep my house. His attention to my case was constant and I could always get ahold of him when I needed advice. I’ve known Joel since I got in my accident in April of 2022. The chiropractic office that I was going to pushed me to call him emphasizing that he would make sure I was taken care of - and they were completely right. The impact of my accident added so much stress to my already stressful life as a single, working mom who was in school at the time and is now a 1st grade teacher. I felt like I had been spread way too thin and was so grateful to have someone managing my case. He has always been communicative about next steps, responsive when I needed to get ahold of him, understanding when I myself wasn’t great at communicating, and he really fought for me. I was injured in a car accident, and I hired a lawyer without any research or knowledge of what to even look for. The experience was terrible, to say the least. I got false information, lost money I didn’t have and wasted a lot of time with a lot of added stress because I couldn’t get any answers or help. I was lucky enough to know someone else who was already going through the legal process with Attorney David Eder. My conversation with them is what also made me realize I was completely with the wrong firm. I was grateful my case hadn’t already closed and reached out to David. He spent time with me on the phone and in person walking me through everything and answering questions so simply, questions I had been asking the old attorney for the last 1.5yrs! I was injured on a charity motorcycle ride. I was severely injured. I underwent multiple surgeries. I was close to death many times. I was on life support. I lived in the hospital and a rehab facility for awhile. I could barely move. I had multiple surgeries. After the first few surgeries I had multiple boxes of multiple reams of paper from the medical records of this event. I tried to handle my claim myself because the total limit amounts were far less then my damages. The insurance companies were trying to get over on me. It took weeks to summon enough energy to call and deal with the insurance people and the claim process. After getting the run around from the insurance companies I had thoroughly researched the top lawyers in Oregon. I contacted most of these super lawyers and lawyers with prestigious accolades who are considered the best. For the most part they treated my situation as just another case. I came across Travis Mayor who is also a Super Lawyer with many prestigious accolades as well. I called the office of Travis Mayor and spoke with his kind receptionist. She informed me that Travis was on vacation. A few minute later I received a call from Travis in Hawaii! He cares that much about his clients that he called me from Hawaii while he was with his family. I told him my situation and out of kindness and compassion he said this total limit amount of money would in no way be fair to you. So Travis offered me an EXTREMELY low flat fee out of the kindness of his own heart. He truly cared about me and my situation. After all the pain it was a blessing to come across a man who truly cared. Once Travis took over I was able to focus on recovering. Travis was extremely easy to contact and in most cases got back to me before I could get back to him. He kept me updated and presented everything to me in a direct and clear manner. He outlined the choices I could make and he let me have full control over the decisions of the case while guiding me throughout the process effortlessly. Travis got the limit amounts from both insurance companies. He negotiated my bills down extremely low. And he also searched every possible outlet for further money. Travis went above and beyond and he did it all like a champion with no sweat. Travis is the best lawyer I could have gotten not just in Oregon but anywhere in the globe. I do not think Travis could have done anything better. Travis performed at 1000% and went above and beyond for me and not for money but out of care for my situation. My husband and I hired Jason after my husband was in a bad car accident. Mr. Duckler, from the first contact, was very informative and helpful. I was "dumped" by a law firm in the middle of a dog custody case after the complaint had been filed.
