I had been been in car accident where the driver was under insured and I had to make claim against my uninsured motorist coverage. My insurance company started jerking me around with unnecessary treatments and less than recommended treatments that were not helping me until my pip coverage ran out then tried to deny my claim all together. That is when I obtained the services of Mr. Clay MacCaslin. He took over and helped me navigate my way through doctors appointments, depositions and taking my insurance company to court. I could not of asked for a better outcome and got my maximum amount I was entitled to for my coverage and now I can get my medical bills paid with a little in my pocket. it has been a long hard road and I am very happy with the results and I would recommend to anyone the services of Clay MacCaslin. Ronald Downs handled my car accident claim, that has gone on for nearly two years, and has handled everything exceptionally. He's walked me through all of the best possible ways and solutions to handle my case through and through, and has always been extremely professional with communication. Although as professional as he is, Ron can be very laid back, and is great at maintaining equal energy with his clients.
Ronald Downs is my first lawyer, and although the results of my case did not end well, he still stuck to his guns and did everything is his power to ensure that I got what I deserved, and because of that I was exceptionally satisfied with the outcome.

I hired Ron to represent me in a Personal Injury Claim involving a Motor Vehicle Accident. He was there for me through the entire process from filing the tort claim to arbitration. Compared to a previous experience with a different firm, Jonathan was excellent at communicating every step of the way. I was not left in the dark as to the status of my case, and he reviewed each communication with me prior to submitting to the opposing party to verify accuracy and obtain my consent. Based on his previous experience with case law, he pursued an alternate angle in an attempt to obtain the best result. Ben Cox is a *real person* who cares about his clients. I was worried about working with a lawyer-shark who fights for his money, but he is such the opposite. My MVA case was difficult and he went above and beyond to get the best possible result for me, and was honest about picking my battles. He was extremely validating when the legal system itself (inevitably) doubted my struggles. Ben was always kind and thorough, answering all of my questions, clarifying them when I was overwhelmed by all the information. His assistant, Heather, is also phenomenal. When I got into my car accident, I was in a very intense transitional period. I had just moved back to Portland, staying in an Airbnb, and was on my way to interview for my dream job. I’d lovingly washed my car the day before and was entirely focused on getting there on-time and safely. Yet, there is only so much over which one has control while driving, and I was rear-ended by TWO cars in morning traffic. As soon as I felt the two impacts, one after the other and the second sending me into the car in front of me, I knew I was embroiled in a true ordeal. This stressful chapter of my life became barely manageable as the third-degree whiplash set in over the next few weeks, and I will forever marvel at my good fortune that my chiropractor referred me to Ben. I have been a trial attorney for over fifteen years. When I was injured in a car wreck, I looked carefully for an injury attorney who: a) would take away all of the hassle and stress of personally having to deal with claims adjusters and opposing counsel; b) would not only keep me informed on a regular basis of the status of my case, but proactively make sure I was doing all the things I needed to do on time; c) knew Personally Injury law thoroughly -- both substantively and with demonstrated litigation experience -- from the claims stage all the way through courtroom litigation; and, d) MOST IMPORTANTLY, one who was not afraid to seek the best possible outcome in my case aggressively. (I have been around enough attorneys to know that many are either afraid of litigation/trial, or they want to take the first or second counter offer from the other side because it's quick money in the bank.)
Elizabeth exceeded my expectations on all four of my requirements. I consider myself to be pretty on the ball with my to-do checklists, but sometimes when I slacked on sending in treatment reports to the firm, for example, she would email me personally reminding me to get a, b, or c done, and would also update me with that status of the case/negotiation so I always understood exactly where things were.
In addition, on our second settlement obtained (the UIM claim), Elizabeth was actually confident that she could get the other side to an even better number than she'd already negotiated. It was me who let her know that I trusted that she could, but that just for my peace of mind I wanted to settle at the good enough number she already obtained and move on with my life. She would have kept fighting, though, and with confidence.
I know another attorney who also retained her and came away also completely pleased with the communication and with the outcome.

I retained Matt for a slip & fall injury because the insurance company was not working with me. After Matt took my claim over I did not have to do anything. Matt did all the calling, negotiating, and because of his due diligence I received a larger settlement than I thought I was gonna receive. He was always there to answer my questions no matter how many times I called or email him. He was quick to send me an answer and if he didn't have one he found the answer ASAP. I retained Matt Rizzo twice for two auto accident claims. Matt's communication and service to his clients are second-to-none. He always kept me informed about my case. Our adult granddaughter was hit by a car while on her bike. She incurred horrendous injuries with corresponding medical bills, for which there was little insurance. We first consulted with Mr. Bruce Bottini in June 2016 as a result of an accident that involved my husband Mitch, and an out of state truck driver. We were unsuccessful at contacting the truck drivers insurance company. My husband required two cervical surgeries and was unable to work for about two months. We had several hundred thousands in medical bills and had exhausted our own insurance. The truck driver was uncooperative and we needed legal representation. Mr Bottini was excellent. After meeting with us in his office, he met us about a week later in the town at the scene of the accident. He brought an accident reconstructionist to verify the general facts, and then spoke with several "witnesses" later that day and the next. It took 3 years to arbitrate this situation, however in that time, he was able to prevent collections from harrassing us, and he brought in an additional lawyer at no cost to us who specialized in trucking cases. That lawyers name is Tim Williams and he is located in Bend, Oregon. The two lawyers worked in tandem to ensure our case was in solid position to be presented in court and at an arbitration. The arbitration was ultimately successful and we felt that we were in excellent hands through the entire process. We felt very fortunate to have both Mr. Bottini and Mr. Williams representing us throughout the entire time. We were very pleased with the outcome and can confidently recommend both Mr. Bottini and Mr. Williams as excellent lawyers that were prepared to take on any situation that could arise in the course of a litigation.

I retained Mr. Kline's office after being hit by a care while riding my motorcycle. While trying to heal from my injuries, my wife and I were worried how I would get my medical bills handled and since the driver had little insurance how we were going to handle this traumatic situation. Navigating the insurance claims process on top of trying to get care for my injury was SO difficult, confusing and intimidating (especially since the driver that hit me was uninsured). I hired Jeff Siefman to represent me on a domestic dispute that led to my arrest in October. Jeff was very upfront and informative when I came to him about a no contact order that was placed that neither myself or significant other asked for. Jeff had the no contact order lifted within in 3 days and had my case dropped to a violation with no jail time and minimal fines and he gauranteed this level of commitment throughout the entirety of my case. I've known of Jim Walsh since my High School days. He was a couple years ahead of me; I've always admired his demeanor and grit. You never think you'll need an attorney until you do. And I needed one a few years back. I was ticketed for a DUI that was not your usual DUI. I was eating dinner with an old flame who I knew for years. She worked as any ER nurse at a local hospital here. She was unhappy that I didn't want to take her back and resume our relationship. At the end of our meal, which included drinks (too many) she got up and went to the restroom. We payed the bill and went to the parking lot where she said she didn't want to come over to my house at that time. Got in my truck and pulled out on the main road. Looked ahead and wasn't shocked to see two cruisers no more than 100 yards down' the road. I knew immediately what had happened. She had called a police friend of hers from work turned me in to him. I drove by the cruisers (they were pointed away from the direction I was going) and they turned and started to follow me. No more than a mile down the road they illuminated and pulled me over. (I was so flustered I failed to signal a turn) Busted. I was incredibly upset about how this went down. A 50's year old man was now screwed. I called Jim and he met me. He helped fill out my initial paperwork and ordered my evidence for review. I was correct in my thinking I was set up. The police report confirmed this. Jim was incredible. He went with me to my court appearances and stood by me. The advice he gave me was spot-on. I wouldn't have made it through the process and might of even done some revenge type activities without him. He even called me nine months later and told me what to do to ensure I got my case dismissed ( after diversion and everything else). He truly cared for me. He was just what I needed. I can truly say that he was more than an attorney. A good, solid attorney (and friend) who payed attention to all the details and held me up through the entire process. I didn't expect this from a lawyer. But Jim is more than just a lawyer. His depth of experience ( he had worked for the same City that I was arrested in) was incredible. Mr. Walsh and myself were involved in two auto accident cases. The first of the two accidents involved an Indochinese woman who was working in Corvallis where she was hit in a crosswalk as she crossed the street. The woman, a friend of mine, had extremely limited English skills. She ask me to assist her in the resolution of her situation. I selected Jim from the yellow pages for a consultation. Upon hearing the plight of this woman, who worked for minimum wage with no health or auto insurance and now hospitalize and unable to work. he drove to Corvallis with me to speak with this woman. He obtained the pertinent information and agreed to take the case for a significantly reduced fee. He worked diligently with myself to resolve the woman's claim. he was compassionate and caring as well as being a knowledgeable and dedicated attorney. The second incident, a head-on auto crash, involved myself. A car crossed the center medium and struck my car. I was not seriously injured, how ever I had a damaged knee, fractured ankle, a cracked rib as well as multiple cuts and bruises to my face, legs, and arms. Jim and his staff worked closely with me through the settlement process, keeping me informed as the claim progressed. Again, Jim demonstrated his knowledge of the law and his understanding of the claim process. As important as his excellent professional expertise, was his personal concern for me as an individual. I was not just a client. He always had time for me and my concerns. I can not express enough the manner in which Jim and his staff treated me. I was rear ended by a driver while sitting on my motorcycle at a stop light . I sustained a herniated L4 and an impingement. Jim allowed and encouraged me to focus on my recovery, which, after all is the most important thing, while he and Nancy took care of managing the bills and the surgery related to the accident. Ethan came highly recommended to us from a good friend. We had found ourselves in a peculiar real estate claim after discovering a mound of damage and rot to our home’s foundation that wasn’t disclosed in our sellers/buyer’s agreement. I can't imagine going through the incredibly difficult and stressful process of my unlawful employment practice case with a former employer without her guidance. She was patient yet firm, and never took advantage of hourly fees, workload, or response time. Although the damage which leads to needing representation and council in any capacity can never be undone, having someone interpret the law on your behalf, and exceeding your expectations in the end result, allows for a sense of closure I wasn't sure I would get. I had been in a bicycle accident and chose to handle the claim without hiring a lawyer. Everything went smoothly until I was settling the claim some time later. I received a letter with language and twisting legal terminology I didn't quite understand and wasn't confident signing. I was visiting the United States and was injured by a car while cycling. Charley and his staff were wonderful at helping me to navigate the complicated American health care and payments system, as well as arranging for every provider to get their appropriate amount.

I have never had to use an attorney prior. I am in southern Oregon and was unable to find an attorney that would take my case so I started venturing out of town and up north. Stevens and Legal had no hesitation in taking on my case.
