There are times in our life when we are thrown into challenging hard times. Wondering how do I get through this or even how did I get here! Well Mr. Paul Geller was that guiding light. He provided the answers and hope I was searching for. As we know the judicial system is not always perfect and doesn't always protect the innocent. Being falsely accused of domestic violence and arrested for it was disheartening and scary. I actually got to see first hand how the law can be turned around and work against the innocent. This is an accusation that can destroy a person's life and reputation. I knew I just couldn't trust anyone to hold my future, my life in their hands. I had a very, very tricky Personal Injury ("slip and fall") case that my own attorney eventually rejected. It's got a lot of risk, it involves attorney-expense, time, etc. It's against a Major Bank who vigorously defends such claims, etc. For so many reasons it's WRONG for the top attorneys in this field.
Many or most who either hung-up on me or didn't call back, write back, acknowledge receipt of previous attorney's Demand Letter, etc. Even my own attorney was very lukewarm and unable to give this much time. I understood and understand it all. The fact that an attorney showed interest at all buoyed my surgery and necessary physical rehab, which took a good six months just to again walk. So either way I won, either way this turned out well because I'm walking again, in the gym, exercising, etc.
Attorney Katz was just awesome in that he spent some time on the phone (despite being busy and involved in at LEAST one other trial). Returned all calls. If he said and says he'll call he does and did. I was just amazed at the Class-Level given the fact this Slip-and-Fall case is not an attractive proposition. I knew when my first attorney said he's bailing that it was a one-shot thing, a Demand Letter then everyone go home. People have to make a living, pay the rent, it has to make sense for these top guys.
From what I understand, Attorney Katz is about as "Tops" as it gets. My first attorney was SURPRISED
to hear Attorney Katz expressed ANY interest. (thought maybe I misunderstood or had wax in my ears).
He said REALLY, Richard M. KATZ returned a call on this - wow - did Attorney Katz SEE the Demand Letter?! Which just shows how other attorneys in this field regard Attorney Katz - as the top of the top.
I'm writing this because I just got off the phone with Attorney Katz.
He AGAIN called back (each time I'm shocked), this is THIRD time even though he senses/knows there's nothing very strong - or unusual - or favorable about my position.
Which is okay, as written I recovered, I'm well, I'm exercising again - as written the THOUGHT there might be compensation for a difficult year BUOYED my rehab, at least gave me some hope.
So Attorney Katz, just wanted to come here, reflect on what a class guy you are - and how anyone needing a top Los Angeles-Pasadena-Glendale-based attorney should first consult you.
I'm really in awe in light of the response from the others - and my respect for you knows no bounds.

I would not go with them again. They continuously gave me false information about the tow yard, the other persons insurance, the amount I would be receiving and that was only when I reached out. Never got a call or email to notify me of what was going on. They did win my case but it was a easy win, it was 100% not may fault so. I think on top of the trauma and problems that the accident brought me, they just piled on. Also offered to mail my check faster if I gave a review.....

I hired Vincent based on good reviews and a referral from a friend. His rate seemed reasonable, so I decided to work with him. Our initial conversation was smooth, although brief, and I felt confident moving forward. I paid the retainer on 8/17, and he promptly filed the initial form on 8/19. When he informed me that papers were served on 8/27 and the respondent had 30 days to respond, I thought things were progressing well.
However, my positive impression quickly faded. I followed up with him on 9/11 and 9/18 without any response. He finally called on 9/19, four hours late, and reassured me that “everything was fine.” When I questioned why he hadn’t filed the proof of service of summons, he brushed it off, saying it wasn’t necessary to file it right away and would handle it later. He advised waiting until mid-October, to which I agreed.
From there, communication became nonexistent. I followed up on 10/14 with no reply and reached out again on 10/24, 10/25, and 10/28—still nothing. Aside from filing the initial paper with the court, he has done absolutely nothing further on my case. When I contacted the courthouse myself, I learned that my case had been left completely unattended, with the court even requesting a status update due to inactivity.
Vincent’s behavior was not only unresponsive but also unprofessional at every turn. Missing scheduled calls, failing to provide updates, and ignoring my questions demonstrated a lack of respect for my time and trust. He even used a personal “gmail.com” email account instead of a professional one, which, looking back, was an early red flag. His entire approach felt more like a one-man show than a legitimate law firm.
Vincent comes off as convincing and charming on the phone (when you can reach him), but if you’re looking for someone who will swiftly take a retainer, make empty promises, and waste your time, he’s your guy. I wasted two months trusting that he was working on my case while, in reality, he had abandoned it. Now I’m forced to dismiss the case he filed and start over—an unfortunate setback given the lengthy court process.
Please beware of Vincent when choosing a lawyer to represent your case. His unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and disregard for his clients’ time make him a poor choice if you need real legal representation.

My friend t referred me to Jacob and I contacted him about my case involving a road rage incident, he quickly wrote up a retainer, we gathered the evidence including a video of the accident and it was pretty open and shut. He did everything he could to get my wife and I the most out of the settlement he even sent me a no strings attached advance when I came on hard times because work dried up for me as a result of not being able to work a while because of my injuries. My case should have been straight forward, the person who rear ended me accepted fault the day after the accident. I naively thought I didn't need an attorney. The person and his insurance agency made things very difficult for me and it was apparent needed an attorney. I had a difficult slip and fall case which a previous attorney turned down. Basically I slipped on some oil in the cursor service area of an auto parts store and for my ACL in my knee.
