On vacation in California, my parents were in a horrific accident leaving my mother on life support, father badly wounded, and my sister and I not knowing what to do. The other commercial driver being at fault, and underinsured, we were told to obtain an attorney and given many names to call. I thought of my friend of 10 years, John Torgenson. John had always been someone I respected with kind character and charitable actions. Not wanting to make such a big decision solely based on the personal connection, I gave him a call to discuss the situation. John immediately gave me confidence in his capabilities to protect and advocate for my family and most importantly my mother. He flew to California the next day, investigated the accident site, contact all parties involved and gathered information. John spent the next couple of days sitting with my mother, father and sister. He was warm, compassionate and comforting in a time of extreme circumstance. It gave me peace of mind that I had made the right decision for my family. My mother did not survive the aftermath from the accident. John was there in my parents home the days surrounding her passing. Again with his words of assurance that he had us. My family devastated and broken, John was a pilar of strength and constant advocating for what was a tragedy but also a wrongful death. John Torgenson was recommended to me by another attorney who did not handle my type of case. Although I did not know John or his firm, I am so glad he was recommended to me. Mr. Torgenson represented me in a personal injury claim resulting from a car accident. It was a delight working with him. I was able to reach him by phone when I called - but, often we would send emails back and forth when he or I had questions. And, he would send documents for me to print, sign and either fax or scan and email back to him. This saved me so much time and money. I didn't have to take off work to make a trip to his office each time something was needed. And, because I was off work for several weeks, conducting business this way was so helpful to me. Working with Joe to handle our personal injury claim has been a pleasant, easy experience. We hired Joe because from our initial contact with the at-fault's insurance company was a nightmare to deal with. Joe took over everything and we never had to deal with them again. I was referred to Matt several years ago to help file/navigate a civil claim. The case ended up being somewhat lengthy, no fault of Matt's, but he always made sure I knew exactly what was going on and why it was happening, every step of the way. Matt helped take the mystery out of the civil process and made sure I knew exactly where we were.
Matt is fair and ethical. He was quick to tell me what he felt was fair and right, even if it was not exactly what I wanted to hear. He is aggressive and firm, but only at appropriate levels, he is not one to be pushed around.

How can you do better for your client than obtaining a settlement well in excess of what the client expected. Rich did just that. He was cost conscious asking me, if I wanted to pay for a deposition or pass due to costs? I left that chose to Rich who chose yes and I'm glad he did. The deposition appeared to have increased the settlement in mediation quite significantly. Rich was obviously very well prepared for the deposition with a good retention of the facts and issues supporting my claim. I am not an Attorney but my two kids are so I get it. Law is a business so chose a lawyer that's a winner. I did and it provided great results.

I was recommended to Berin from a family friend after I was involved in a accident. After working with him I see why…..He is a stand up guy! Berin is a very matter of fact and straight to the point lawyer, which I can truly appreciate. He doesn't sugar coat anything and gives you realistic expectations as to what to expect through the entire process. I've had 2 personal injury cases with him, and the first one was "too hard to prove" for the original lawyers, but Berin came in, fought for me and won a decent settlement. The second one he did the same, but I was a passenger so while the work wasn't as much, he did just as great of a job. I would highly recommend him and his firm for any legal issues that fall into their area of expertise. I'm actually starting case #3 with them, on a completely different matter, I was glad to know, that even though it's not his expertise, he has someone in his firm who is an expert on it. Nice to have one lawyer/firm for all of my legal needs.

I met Krista in 2015 when she agreed to take on my case when it seemed no one else would. My case was involving a motorcycle accident, and even the law tiger wouldn't take my case (they claim to specialize in motorcycle accidents). She was very professional and had my best interest in mind the whole time. The case lasted 2 years and 5 months with many setbacks. Krista and her team made me feel like I was their best client and encouraged me to stay positive throughout the whole process. My case started out by going to arbitration. We won the arbitration in the amount of 23k. Unfortunately the defendants lawyer appealed it and we went to trial. At this point Krista decided to do a counter offer we the defendant knowing full well that they would deny it. This was detrimental to me as if the outcome was in our favor the defendant would have to pay my attorney fees and all the taxable fees in double. Like she predicted they denied the counter offer and we would be going to court. The court system has a backlog so it was 1 year later going to court. Krista and her team went to bat for me and the trail ended up in a mistrial at no fault to her. So another court date was set for another 1 year later. Yet again Krista and her team pulled out all the arsenal they could. They called in specialists, and engineers to help aid in my case. They fault gallantly for me with the best outcome possible. We won by a jury verdict in our favor. The jury awarded 21k. Krista didn't stop there. Remember the counter offer they denied....
She went back and fourth with the defendants attorney with sanctions, fees, and costs. After all was said and done Krista and her team cut me a check for $48,288. I was shocked and awed on the phone when she called to tell me. That was more than double what the jury awarded me in the court room. I was very blessed that Krista came into my life to battle for me and my family. We will be forever in her debt, and she will always be in our heart and prayers. I will highly recommend her always and forever.

Krista handled my case after an accident in Aug of 2015. Her and Jodi worked diligently on my case and got ALL of the providers to negotiate my medical bills and agree to settlements to get more money for me. She was always available to answer any questions. In 2021, I was a victim of police misconduct and excessive use of force by the police department in a small town in Arizona. I decided to sue the city/police dept and begin making calls to attorneys in the area. Spoke with at least 20 or 30 different attorneys before finally being referred to Andy Gartman. Andy was highly effective, professional, and helpful throughout every step of the process. My first conversation with Andy was very encouraging because he listened to everything I had to say with open ears and an open mind. Andy obtained and reviewed all of the evidence including body cam footage, police reports, an d other key documents (all of which was strongly in my favor, and helped both Andy and I build conviction in the strength of our case).
