I was referred to Matt several years ago to help file/navigate a civil claim. The case ended up being somewhat lengthy, no fault of Matt's, but he always made sure I knew exactly what was going on and why it was happening, every step of the way. Matt helped take the mystery out of the civil process and made sure I knew exactly where we were.
Matt is fair and ethical. He was quick to tell me what he felt was fair and right, even if it was not exactly what I wanted to hear. He is aggressive and firm, but only at appropriate levels, he is not one to be pushed around.
Due to the curveballs that life throws, Matt ended up representing me on two seperate civil suits within the past few years. Both cases were successfully settled, thanks to the knowledge, expertise and tenacity of Mr Millea.

My son was killed in a truck/car accident, leaving behind a large extended family. Abdul and his partner, came right out to our house and spoke to several of us and explained what he could do. It was an involved case but Abdul went out of his way to help. I was especially impressed by how he kept us updated. Most attorneys do not do that! Abdul is also a caring person. I was recommended to Berin from a family friend after I was involved in a accident. After working with him I see why…..He is a stand up guy! Berin is a very matter of fact and straight to the point lawyer, which I can truly appreciate. He doesn't sugar coat anything and gives you realistic expectations as to what to expect through the entire process. I've had 2 personal injury cases with him, and the first one was "too hard to prove" for the original lawyers, but Berin came in, fought for me and won a decent settlement. The second one he did the same, but I was a passenger so while the work wasn't as much, he did just as great of a job. I would highly recommend him and his firm for any legal issues that fall into their area of expertise. I'm actually starting case #3 with them, on a completely different matter, I was glad to know, that even though it's not his expertise, he has someone in his firm who is an expert on it. Nice to have one lawyer/firm for all of my legal needs.

I was involved in a rear end collision 5 months ago, I was referred to Berin Fite by my chiropractor. Berin is very professional and keeps you informed every step of the way with your case. Attorney Elizabeth Kamper was consulted to us by the Hyatt Legal Plan, in assisting our case. Hearing plenty of stories about bankruptcy we were hesitiant on going through with it. I met Krista in 2015 when she agreed to take on my case when it seemed no one else would. My case was involving a motorcycle accident, and even the law tiger wouldn't take my case (they claim to specialize in motorcycle accidents). She was very professional and had my best interest in mind the whole time. The case lasted 2 years and 5 months with many setbacks. Krista and her team made me feel like I was their best client and encouraged me to stay positive throughout the whole process. My case started out by going to arbitration. We won the arbitration in the amount of 23k. Unfortunately the defendants lawyer appealed it and we went to trial. At this point Krista decided to do a counter offer we the defendant knowing full well that they would deny it. This was detrimental to me as if the outcome was in our favor the defendant would have to pay my attorney fees and all the taxable fees in double. Like she predicted they denied the counter offer and we would be going to court. The court system has a backlog so it was 1 year later going to court. Krista and her team went to bat for me and the trail ended up in a mistrial at no fault to her. So another court date was set for another 1 year later. Yet again Krista and her team pulled out all the arsenal they could. They called in specialists, and engineers to help aid in my case. They fault gallantly for me with the best outcome possible. We won by a jury verdict in our favor. The jury awarded 21k. Krista didn't stop there. Remember the counter offer they denied....
She went back and fourth with the defendants attorney with sanctions, fees, and costs. After all was said and done Krista and her team cut me a check for $48,288. I was shocked and awed on the phone when she called to tell me. That was more than double what the jury awarded me in the court room. I was very blessed that Krista came into my life to battle for me and my family. We will be forever in her debt, and she will always be in our heart and prayers. I will highly recommend her always and forever.

Krista handled my case after an accident in Aug of 2015. Her and Jodi worked diligently on my case and got ALL of the providers to negotiate my medical bills and agree to settlements to get more money for me. She was always available to answer any questions. It was the first accident I have had that I had to obtain counsel due to the extent of the damage and injuries and with them, all I had to do was get treatment and get better. I had a bad fall out with my business partners. When I hired Adam I was on the verge of completely losing all my shares to my partners because they had the majority vote.
After our first meeting, I knew he was going to be my lawyer because he asked all the right questions. He explained what my rights were and the legality (or lack of) in what they were trying to do to me. He discussed a few approaches I could take and discussed all the pros and cons of every approach. He took all my advice into consideration when putting a game plan together. So of course I hired him.
I was ready for a very long battle because it got very personal between us. I knew nobody was willing to budge. To make a long story short, it is now 6 months later and the case is over. I sold my shares for almost 10% more than my asking price.
Adam is hands down the best lawyer I have ever worked with. He made me feel like I was his only client. He remembered every detail about my case every time we spoke. Not to mention he is very generous when counting his hours.

First class from the opening greeting. Stan Marks and his paralegal Coleen Chavira are nothing short of everything you want and need in an attorney. Professional, thorough, communicative, easy to contact, and straight to the point - they don't waste your time or theirs. My sister was in a horrific car accident that took her husband of over 15 yrs away from her - the only man she ever dated. Her life changed instantly because a tourist couldn't wait to see the Grand Canyon. I hired them on a blind referral (a friend of a friend of a relative), and never looked back. While the family was working on my sisters physical well being, Stan was dealing with auto insurance, medical insurance, legal 'stuff' and all manner of outside 'noise', and did so with my sisters interest first. I had a situation where a Goliath company tried to steamroll me on an employment matter. An attorney I knew urged me to contact Richard Klauer citing his expertise - and I'm very happy that I did. I admit that I was very intimidated but Mr. Klauer immediately put me at ease, collected all the information that would be needed and put together a compelling case. This was my first ever car accident. I’d never gone through this experience before and boy, was I put through the ringer. I was hit by a semi truck changing lanes and pushed into another semi truck to my right. I was scared, confused and this was my very first car (which I loved, so I was very sad about it haha). The moment I spoke to the team and to Chris, I felt comforted. I felt supported and encouraged.
The other guy’s insurance company that we were trying to settle with fired and rehired at least 5 different case workers for my case alone. Now the company is going under. Chris. Was. Awesome. They put red tape, hoops and so many other things in front of him and he just led me through it every step of the way.
During this time (March 2019- December 2019) my car was classified as abandoned, had the wheel stollen off of it, the battery stolen off of it, and some of the items inside were also stolen while it sat on the lot. Someone from the tow yard decided to steal the title on the car. I moved states. I got married. I was taking classes. AND SO MANY OTHER THINGS.
So everything that could have happened during this time DID. And Chris was ALWAYS on top of it. He was so communicative and explained things to me in a way I could understand. I could ALWAYS get a hold of Chris at least within the same day and that’s something I really appreciate.
I’m very grateful and blessed by Chris and the team because of the way they “held my hand” from start to finish, even through the absolute WORST parts of it. Thank you Chris!!

Steve assisted us when my wife's parents moved out of a retirement home due to being unhappy with the food. This was a "purchase" type of unit, where they paid $200,000 when they moved in but were promised 90% of that would be returned to them if they moved out. After moving out they were told that they would not get their money until their unit was sold and occupied. Sure enough, buried in the legalese of the contract was that provision. With the housing market down in Phoenix, that could be years. We found that the retirement home owners had subsequently changed the contract such that that provision had to be initialed because others had complained of being misled. Steve filed suit and successfully negotiated the refund of the deposit.

Steve Sparks educated himself so well with our case that he learned more about our products performance than we even knew. He knew nothing about the paint industry and water vapor transmission before he started but became so knowlegeable through his investigation and research that he was able to discount the claims against our products performance. Steve worked extremely hard and he and does his homework. We found him to be a very intelligent, fair and honest attorney. We have used services of Randy Sassaman's law firm for our negotiations with a big insurance company. He was recommended to me and my wife by another lawyer, who was not able to take our case at the time. And we are so glad now that Randy and Mike took that case and pursued it so tirelessly. They prepared exhaustive arguments to defend our side and were almost successful in doing so. The judge seemed to be leaning our way, so it's still not clear how the decision went the other way.
Randy suggested and we decided to appeal the case to the Ninth Circuit. Fortunately it was accepted there and Randy traveled to San Francisco for the hearing and presented our side of the story so convincingly that the case was returned back to Arizona for retrial.
That was enough to eventually reach a settlement with the insurance company that helped us financially a lot in our situation.
