Walter represented me in a medical malpractice case. My wife and I immediately felt good about him. He was always professional and polite. He was really good about educating us on the situation and explaining things for us in a way that didn't feel condescending at all.
We settled the case before we went to trial and felt very good about everything Walter was able to do for us. We felt like he cared, and just overall was a very nice, genuine guy who was there to help us in matters we were not capable of doing ourselves. Walter called when he had questions about details to make sure he had it right, so he could be as prepared as possible. He worked very hard on my case and was very well educated in his field. I hired Doug for a decree dispute back in 2018, paid him thousands of dollars and ended up having to do almost all the work myself. In mediation you would have thought he was representing my ex. I fired him and won the case on my own.

I spoke with on of their attorney's about a case I was facing for an initial consultation. While extremely knowledgeable, the attorney was prone to interrupting, misunderstanding, and not listening. I understand that this was a free consultation and that I was not a paying client but this interaction has made me refuse to consider this law firm in the future.

Took two months of waiting and hounding the attorney I was engaged with to actually get back some legal templates. When I did receive them, they contained the wrong information. Just got the bill...$900 for absolutely nothing in return that was useful and maybe a 30 minute consult before actually signing any engagement letter. I would not recommend these guys for any services.

I worked with Greg at Hoole&King on a recommendation from another cyclist. He freed me up to focus on recovering from my injuries and succeeded in getting far more money than I expected in settlement to help with ongoing costs that insurance doesn't cover. He was courteous and kind in every interaction and always seemed concerned with my well-being beyond just being another case. I'm sure he does great work for all of his clients, but I really felt that he understood my experience as a cyclist, and that gave me extra comfort with him.

3.5 STAR REVIEW OF CHAD STEUR LAW
Chad regularly lies and tramples the rules--which might be fine to you, if you benefit from his cheating. He is an impetuous attack dog who cares about his clients and fights hard for them. He is what people, myself included, look for in a litigator. While most attorneys are averse to conflict, Chad is not. Moreover, Chad is not greedy like many attorneys. Then why not a five-star review, you say?
Chad's problem is that he lacks wisdom. He fights--and usually wins--legal battles that might ultimately, and unwittingly, lead to your losing the war. Though I recommend Chad, he is like nitroglycerine; so I suggest you consult a second attorney before you let Chad loose.
(The above is my opinion as a lay person based on my dealings with Chad Steur. I do not present it as a statement of irrefutable fact.)

I've tried over and over to get set up with this firm and I am now convinced this is a brokerage company because it has taken so long to get appointments then they don't even show up at appointments. I was tricked by the other reviews. They have wasted precious time and scheduling for me and I feel like I was just a number that they didn't care about.

Thought he was a good lawyer, went through depositions in a personal injury case. Ryan and Christian Burridge abandoned me after that, never heard from them again, until mr. Burridge notified me he was withdrawing from my case leaving Ryan as my council. I tried to call him with the number provided, facebook, every means I could think of. I finally gave up, but I would suggest you seriously reconsider if your thinking of hiring him. You would never know if he abandoned you too. I would have been ok if he a least told me he needed to drop the case, but nothing, really. Not professional.

I had some criminal charges that were affecting my license with DOPL. I consulted with Ryan and he not only helped me save my professional license, he worked on the criminal case to get the charges dismissed. Although the process was very stressful, Ryan was intelligent and understanding with me and my wife. He got the case against me dismissed and represented me in the licensing case. He was really well prepared and honestly made the state attorney look bad. I would highly recommend Ryan as an attorney.

Honestly, I could not have asked for a better attorney. First, I never hoped to ever need an attorney for my divorce, but secondly, I always heard about how horrible attorney's are for returning their client's phone calls. Never have I been more wrong. Who would have thought my attorney would be so quick to answer all of my questions whether it be through email, phone, or sometimes even for a last minute in-office visit? Unfortunately, divorce is becoming more and more common. If anyone needs a divorce, this is the guy to go to!

I can understand if he is not interested in my case, but why waste people time by not replying.

I had contacted my nephew , a lawyer in California, because of a serious escalation in the harassment to myself from an individual who was an acquaintance I had known here in California but had moved to Utah. This individual was calling me at home, at my office accusing me of the most ludicrous offenses against him, his family and even his pets. This had been going on for quite awhile but when his harassment went from threatening phone calls to being served a restraining order , a small claims court case, and trying to get a D.A. order for my arrest for alleged hate crimes against him and his family, I had to protect myself and get legal advice and representation. I was worried and did not know what to do until I contacted my nephew. Unfortunately he was not licensed to practice law in the state of Utah, but fortunately he asked his senior partners if they had a recommendation and they all said without a doubt the law firm of Andrew Deiss was who I should contact. Well that was over a year ago and I am so fortunate that I was directed to him. Confused during the majority of my case. Did not understand what was going on. Probably because there were numerous different people with their hands in the basket I never knew who was working my case. Thought everything was good and done in 2023, but come to find out Cassie and her team dropped the ball and my custody case was never filed with the courts. A year later my case was about to be thrown out. Then to top it off, After making payment arrangements with me for her outrageously high prices, she dropped out of my case! I now have no legal counsel for a court date she caused by not filing my case and she also went back on her agreement on allowing me to pay a certain amount per month until I got on my feet. Couldn’t have happened at a worse time. Thanks Cassie! (sarcasm) Would highly NOT recommend this firm and after reading other reviews, charging a ridiculous amount and then dumping you is what she seems to do.
