Our Aunt worked with Aaron for her Trust. We were so impress with the kindness and professionalism we encountered with him we wanted to use Monday Morning Trust for our Trusts.
We worked with Ryan. He made it very easy to set up our Trusts and we were able to do it over the phone. The presentation of the the Trust documents is excellent.
They took a worrisome task and made it very easy to complete. It’s one less concern as we begin our retirement.

I had the pleasure of working with Steven and Holly on my personal injury case.

Jordan was and is one of the worst lawyers I ever had to deal with in my life.
I contacted him because he was a referral from a friend seeking help for being wrongfully terminated from a job.
At first he seemed very caring and understanding and on my side and then as the days went by it was like I was an annoyance to him.
Anytime I would ask a question through text about something he was doing he would talk down to me like I was a child.
He has a huge ego and on a high horse.
At one point my family advised me to ask a question about something he was doing and oh my god did I get a wrath from him, even Jordan saying "is your mother a lawyer? I am a lawyer, do not question my actions"
I just couldn't even believe it, it went from telling me that I was going to get a huge settlement to making me feel worthless and the enemy in the case. After a few months of Jordan going ghost he had his office message me that they were not going to continue with the case and gave me a referral.
It was more then 6 months waste of time and I couldn't even do anything after that it was too late to even have a case after that long of waiting
The owner of the place I was wrongfully terminated even offered a settlement and Jordan refused it saying he could get more money.
So in the end I got absolutely nothing because he didn't want to take the case anymore. Highly do not recommend this guy. Some lawyers especially this one are way to high on a horse to be brought down to reality.

I’m very grateful to Mr. Scott and his firm. We never felt like ‘clients.’ He viewed us as individuals of incalculable worth. He understood that we put the most difficult situation of our lives in his hands and he wasn’t going to let us down. It was obvious that Mr. Scott valued the truth and justice of our situation over his own ego. He is the farthest thing from the stereotypical attorney. Every attorney and paralegal in his office was equally qualified and motivated. Their work gave us peace of mind and confidence throughout the mediation and trial processes. They were extremely attentive to detail, and able to uncover significant details that we had not noticed despite being more intimately aware of the situation. They sifted through enormous amounts of data and properly distinguished the most important elements of the case from those of lesser importance. The storyline of our situation was patiently woven together over the course of the trial and the jury was not lacking any important elements. He was never too busy to answer a call, email or text. He was factual rather than emotional. Our trial ended more quickly and favorably than we anticipated as a result of Mr. Scott’s professional and human excellence.

She did our will--took longer than expected, and we had to follow up with her several times to get status updates. I called her on 8/10 to do a simple legal name change, and she took over a month to start the process, then hasn't responded to any emails since then. I called to follow up on 9/22, and she told me everything would be filed by the end of the week...and nothing. Just called back, and was told yet again that she was unavailable and they had no updates.

The Zalkin team changed my life, and they feel like family to me. They expertly navigated the rough waters of a difficult and lengthy lawsuit -- all the way up through trial preparations -- and negotiated an out-of-court settlement to the satisfaction of both parties. They brilliantly researched and applied a little-known clause in the Servicemember Civil Relief Act to my case, which was unprecedented, significantly extending the statute of limitations and allowing my lawsuit to continue. Other military members then derived benefit from this clause in their cases, from what I understand.
Their team -- I primarily worked with Ryan, Devin, Lisa, and Irwin -- is spectacular. My Mother was a passenger on a motorcycle when it was hit by an SUV and she suffered major injuries. CHP determined the motorcycle was at fault so we did not have any expectations that any money would be paid out from insurance and weren’t even confident that the McClellan Law Firm would take our case. Our initial consultation was with Barbara who gathered information about the accident and injuries. She was very personable, empathic, explained the process in detail and in vocabulary we could understand. The following day we received a call from the attorney (Craig) letting us know his Team was taking the case and very confidently told us that he would be able to negotiate a settlement with all the parties involved.
Our main contact during this process was Barbara and she kept us updated with the progress of the case. Every email or phone call we made was promptly answered or returned. Aside from providing basic information, photos, and medical bills, the firm did the all the leg work to track down the parties involved, accident reports, etc. Very minimal effort from our end. Conor and Craig were able to negotiate the medical liens substantially and our case was settled in just 3 weeks (it took more than 8 months for CHP to complete the accident report). Conor and Craig exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be more thankful. Thank you Craig, Conor and Barbara.

In January 2020, I had filed for a divorce. By the fall of 2021, my lawyer informed me she could no longer represent me. I needed a reputable, trustworthy lawyer that would not bail on me again.
In my online research, I found Dell'Acqua Law and left a note on the website. I did not expect to hear a response for 48 hours or so. The next day, Dawn Dell'Acqua and I had a virtual conversation! Dawn could see I was feeling vulnerable and broken. My marriage of 19 years was a complex case. My ex was not an easy person to deal with.
My worries dissipated quickly working with Dawn, Ariel Barbre, and the amazing office staff. They were professional yet personable. Due to my medical condition and the business environment, I got to a point where I couldn't make credit card payments anymore. So I didn't. But I don't really understand the paperwork system so I just let it be. After 3 years, a judgment was entered against me. So I can't simply avoid the situation like I have been doing. Which is a big mistake by the way (I should have taken care of this in the first year). But live and learn.
So I did internet research and found that bankruptcy was my best (and probably only) option. So I could try to file bankruptcy papers myself and save money - which I don't recommend. Why? Because I am going to get buried in paperwork and if I fill things out incorrectly... who knows what outcome I will get or how long it will take to get my discharge.
So I called 6 attorneys. Prices in San Diego vary from $1000-$2500. Funny thing is - all the attorneys are providing the same service. So, what do you do? Are you sure the most expensive attorney is the best? Do you really want to go with the cheapest legal center - that office that has 5 different attorneys pumping out bankruptcies - and you interact with the paralegal and not the attorney.
I wanted someone honest and reliable. Linda was not the cheapest but she was affordable. She was very articulate over the phone, so I think that is what sold me. Some of the attorneys play $ games. They quote a high price but will negotiate downward. With Linda - you don't have to do that. She gives you the right price from the first phone call. So - she may seem a little bit cheaper but she is about the same price as the others that are playing games by starting out artificially high with the quoted fee.
But I don't want an attorney who plays games. I want someone who is honest and straightforward. I want my attorney to be honest with me, and honest with the bankruptcy trustee. So I went with Linda, and I am glad I did.
Linda can be reached any time you need her - either by phone or by email (whatever you like) - and she is just a down to earth hard working family woman. Linda knows the law and is very good with paperwork. She is accurate and precise. She has an assistant Tammy who was also very reliable in my interactions with her. Both Linda and Tammy answered all my emails and phone calls promptly and thoroughly. Which means... no stress... at all.
Linda helped me write the paperwork. She is needed because the bankruptcy court expects things to look a certain way. For example - I can't write that my monthly food expense is $1000. The system doesn't allow it. So we had to lower it to $300. Now, how am I going to eat on $300/month when one single burrito at Roberto's taco shop is $12?? That's why I need Linda. Because the court system is based on the rules of paperwork and not the rules of reality.
I needed to get my bankruptcy paperwork in fast because I started to worry that the judgment creditor may come after my car. So... I asked Linda how fast she could do it? She said she will do what it takes to help me. So Linda took time away from her kids to meet with me in her law office in Downtown San Diego late in the evening. We filled out the paperwork together and nailed it!
From there - the process unfolded seamlessly and I think it was about 3 months total before my discharge. That's the fastest it can be done due to court timeline and procedures.
Go with Linda and do it right. I'm sure there are other good bankruptcy lawyers in San Diego, but - based on my experience with Ms. Mcaleer - I tell you no one could have done it better.

We had a problem collecting money from one of our customers. We were nervous about getting a lawyer involved as we had never used one before and wasn't sure of the costs.
