My husband and I recently settled a five year long injury case against a major corporation. This accident not only destroyed our lives but our son in law also sustained very similar injuries to my husband. We believe their injuries were sustained from a product failure.
My Husband & I were referred to The Cartwright Law Firm & we were ecstatic to finally get some hope that we in deed had a case.
Robert Cartwright, Andrew Ratto and the entire Cartwright team went above and beyond to make sure they left no stone unturned. They worked so hard on our case and assured us that we had a fighting chance.
As time for trial approached, again after being postponed numerous times we finally knew that one way or another this portion of our nightmare was finally coming to an end. At last the time was finally here, jury selection was beginning & once that was complete our trial would finally begin. Although we knew that we also had to attend a settlement conference and attempt to settle this case out of court once more but we honestly didn't think we would settle.
Andrew & Rob never stopped, they were absolutely prepared to take this all the way knowing we could all loose everything. After countless sleepless nights and an unwavering amount of hours put into our case we finally were able to come to a settlement agreement that will never give us our life back but it definitely help us move forward.

I highly recommend Vanessa and Dolan Law Firm. After being injured on my bike and hospitalized by a careless motorist, my expectations for any kind of justice or settlement were low because I did not have the motorist’s name or information. Despite not having high hopes, I filled out Dolan’s intake web portal with the details of my injury event. After some phone conversations, I met with Emile Davis at their Oakland office (this was prior to Vanessa joining their team) to discuss the accident, and Emile walked me through the different scenarios and outcomes I could expect, which was very helpful and informative for me as someone who had never taken any previous legal action. Vanessa connected with me soon after she joined the Dolan Law team, and she was professional and clear about how she was going to move my case along. After my medical treatments concluded, Vanessa worked to put together a strongly documented and effective case and kept me informed the whole time. Vanessa’s willingness and commitment to my case was reassuring for me, especially considering the fact that at that point some time had passed and we had still not yet managed to track down the motorist who had injured me, and my hopes for a just resolution were dwindling. I was later incredibly relieved when Vanessa and the Dolan Law team succeeded in finding the motorist’s identity and then brought the necessary documentation and paperwork to the company that the motorist had been driving for. Sandra Ribera believes passionately that every child has the fundamental right to have a childhood where you don’t become a victim of a violent and heinous sexual assault. If you are an adult as I am now and were victimized you need to call Sandra Ribera. Sandra will be sensitive to your emotional state, willingness to listen and very attentive to detail. Sandra showed me great compassion, very strong knowledge of the law regarding my rights to find and seek justice and restitution. Sandra was able to do that pre litigation. Sandra is an amazing attorney. Sandra clearly and articulately explained the law and my rights, was always reassuring whenever we spoke and never made me doubt that she wasn’t fighting for me. Working with Sandra and her colleagues was by far the best experience I had regarding a legal matter! She helped me navigate a complex and very personal case. Which required a deep understanding of very intimate elements. Sandra showed great empathy, always treated me with dignity and respect. I felt that I could share any detail as she created a safe environment and empowered me immensely. I can't even find the proper words to describe Sandy's qualities as well as her colleagues.
Navigating the US legal system as a foreigner is anxiety inducing. Having the right attorney is vital! Sandra, on top of being super competent, has a great personality. I found myself most of the time not even thinking about my issue. My anxiety went completely away once I knew I was in very good hands!

I was unfairly sued by Bank of America and hired Susan to fight back on the lawsuit. She really went to the mat for me, fighting Bank of America’s lawyers all the way. The outcome was that they finally conceded defeat after Susan was able to demand audio tapes from the bank of conversations with me. They fought it all the way, but finally gave in. They signed a dismissal “With Prejudice” (meaning they can never bring it up again) and filed it with the Superior Court. What a relief that was. Had she not been there, it could have threatened my home and future. I can recommend Susan wholeheartedly to anyone who wants a lawyer who will fight for you and win.

I was a cyclist hit in a bicycle vs. auto accident with disputed liability (50/50) over who ran the red light in an intersection in San Francisco. I was referred to Debra by a close friend and attorney.
Debra thoroughly prepared me for what lay ahead. Her compassionate and straightforward communication style made me comfortable with a process that was completely unknown to me.
Before even sending the settlement demand letter, Debra did a huge amount of work on my behalf. She collected all of my medical records, bills, and other documentation. She engaged the services of an awesome biomechanical engineer to help reconstruct the accident.
At a time when I only wanted to focus on healing, Debra helped me to understand that the accident, injuries and surgical implants in my broken tibia were only part of my suffering. She wisely advised me to visit an orthopedic surgeon, who could explain potential future mobility issues I may have. The detailed report and advice I received helped me to make the important decision to have the hardware removed that was so uncomfortable in my leg. Debra's support was empowering.
Debra prepped me for my deposition so I felt as comfortable as one can in that process. She made it easy for me. She also prepped me for mediation, since it can be an overwhelming experience. Debrah was so patient, and answered all of my questions quickly and candidly.
In the end, we settled for the mediator’s number, which was 50% higher than my bottom line. I couldn't have imagined a better result. Debra is the best of the best!

I contacted her through my internet research who is a local for my first time home purchase. Ms. Smith promptly replied and jumped on to reviewing my accepted offer. She meticulously prepared notes for every document she reviewed and explained legal terms and proposed languages/texts for various requests through the contingencies. Our family had a problem with bedbugs in our apartment and a landlord who was blaming us and trying to get us to pay for the exterminators. Soon after I started making a tragic series of uninformed decisions, I had the good fortune to meet Jason. I must have seemed overly cautious, but he stuck with me, taking time to explain everything. His larger than life personality is more than perfectly genuine, it's perfectly suited to his profession.
At every turn, Jason clearly knew his stuff, from legal nooks and crannies to the maelstrom of hospital/doctor/fire dept billing depts, and insurance adjusters (one after another). Jason is a master communicator, forthright, practical, and shrewd.
