I was a cyclist hit in a bicycle vs. auto accident with disputed liability (50/50) over who ran the red light in an intersection in San Francisco. I was referred to Debra by a close friend and attorney.
Debra thoroughly prepared me for what lay ahead. Her compassionate and straightforward communication style made me comfortable with a process that was completely unknown to me.
Before even sending the settlement demand letter, Debra did a huge amount of work on my behalf. She collected all of my medical records, bills, and other documentation. She engaged the services of an awesome biomechanical engineer to help reconstruct the accident.
At a time when I only wanted to focus on healing, Debra helped me to understand that the accident, injuries and surgical implants in my broken tibia were only part of my suffering. She wisely advised me to visit an orthopedic surgeon, who could explain potential future mobility issues I may have. The detailed report and advice I received helped me to make the important decision to have the hardware removed that was so uncomfortable in my leg. Debra's support was empowering.
Debra prepped me for my deposition so I felt as comfortable as one can in that process. She made it easy for me. She also prepped me for mediation, since it can be an overwhelming experience. Debrah was so patient, and answered all of my questions quickly and candidly.
In the end, we settled for the mediator’s number, which was 50% higher than my bottom line. I couldn't have imagined a better result. Debra is the best of the best!

Our family had a problem with bedbugs in our apartment and a landlord who was blaming us and trying to get us to pay for the exterminators. It is difficult for anyone who has not had bedbugs to imagine the extent to which this problem negatively effects every aspect of your life. I contacted Greg Brod, and he was there for us. We had the misfortune of being involved in a personal injury case, but fortunate enough to have Tanya, Robert and team in our corner. The truth of the matter is, no one hopes to need an attorney -- but when you do, you'd best have a good one.
My case is finally resolved. I feel neutral but optimistic. There were a lot of obstacles to overcome. I'm learning to move on past the negative feelings that a lawsuit will no doubt bring up. That I feel positive at all is largely due to how calm, professional, fair, knowledgeable, connected, responsive, and empathetic Tanya's team is.

Mike Kelly is amazing! I was a pedestrian hit by a car in the middle of a crosswalk. I was referred to Mike by a friend who highly recommended him. I was in extreme crisis when we contacted Mike. After a life threatening injury accident, I very nearly tried to settle with the driver's insurance company on my own. What a mistake that would've been, but the lawyers I'd interviewed were more like car salesmen than legal advocates. Soon after I started making a tragic series of uninformed decisions, I had the good fortune to meet Jason. I must have seemed overly cautious, but he stuck with me, taking time to explain everything. His larger than life personality is more than perfectly genuine, it's perfectly suited to his profession.
At every turn, Jason clearly knew his stuff, from legal nooks and crannies to the maelstrom of hospital/doctor/fire dept billing depts, and insurance adjusters (one after another). Jason is a master communicator, forthright, practical, and shrewd.
To find a trusted lawyer is even more important than finding a trusted mechanic. The trauma, stress and uncertainty I'd been dealing with steadily faded and I was able to get back to my life! Even as we continued to wait on the other side, Jason would phone me with status updates and include me in his thought process.
