I hired David Braswell as my attorney while going through my separation, which turned into a divorce, and needed a parenting plan, child support, etc. He took the time to respond to any questions I had or expressed concerns about and help me understand the legal process. He accurately forecasted how my situation would result and that helped me mentally and emotionally. He updated me regularly with any changes. Give us incorrect information told my husband he could get up to a 1/3 good time if he took the deal but it was only 10% good time which is a big difference And we asked to make sure he could see our girls when he was in and never told us that regardless of whether that’s put in the J and S DOC gets to do whatever they want and so now he has not got to see our girls at all… Should’ve went with a public defender

This was the first time I have ever had to hire an attorney. I found Matthew through a bar association referral (having no idea where to look otherwise). Turns out to be a good match. We did an initial consultation in late April. He was mindful of the facts of my case, able to recall them between many different calls over six months.
I appreciate that Matthew was conservative with my finances. He billed appropriately, and advised on whether or not one decision or another that I was making would be a wise use of the retainer I paid. Essentially telling me "yes you *could* do that, but it won't get any results and you'll be wasting your money."
Although the ultimate outcome of the situation was not exactly what I had hoped for, he was able to negotiate my contract and able to negotiate for severance pay.

This review is years overdue. In short summary, Michael was an amazing lawyer and I would highly recommend him. I was involved in a car accident in 2018 where I had also been injured. I have never been in a car accident before so this was all new territory. Michael had come recommended by the community I lived in so I reached out for a consultation. He was highly professional and detail oriented, making sure to take notes about the accident and look through all my paperwork I had collected up to that point. After the consultation he ended up taking up my case. I feel that he made sure to give me the best deal I could have asked for. Him and his legal team always made sure to call and update me as negotiations continued and explained certain legal jargon in a way that I could easily understand. After my attorney dropped the ball on several occasions I had no choice but to find another attorney. A case that definitely needed a seasoned criminal defense attorney. Beckwith Law assisted me in getting a no-contact order modified. It had been over year since the initial no-contact order was issued. Cristine's due diligence and explaining to me why being patient was best before the motion was filed. In my eyes it had been over a year since I was able to have communication with my life partner however, in the courts eyes it had only been four months. She understood that he did everything he needed to do and was able present a good argument to the judge to have the no-contact order lifted four months after his sentencing hearing. If you want an attorney who understands the judicial system and listen to their suggestions on how they handle a case Beckwith Law is an excellent choice.

I am extremely disappointed in the service I have received from Mr. Gossing although it’s not GHG legal if you run into this attorney it’s hit or miss. I have read several reviews as to how great and attentive he is however at this point I feel it’s just personal because he is so unresponsive to me. I try not to be a bother but apparently that gets me nowhere as well. Throughout my bankruptcy I pretty much received the same service and when he and his previous business partner parted ways I felt a loyalty to him and stuck it out with his piss poor service because when he is responsive he is AMAZING!! Unfortunately that type of service an unresponsiveness is truly unacceptable. It seems as though he is way to busy to even attempt to make you feel as a priority.
