In an attempt to address my situation, I sought the advice of another attorney in the community, paying for a consultation. First and foremost, my wife and I are extremely appreciative of the Roy Law Group. They are now family to us and we could not have dealt with the insurance company alone. The people that work for Roy Law Group took us on and walked us through every step of the long process. I wish we could recommend them higher than this review. Our story of "why" we recommend Roy Law Group. My wife suffers from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) as a result of a horrific automobile accident and epilepsy. At first, her short term employment disability kicked in without any issues. We noticed a change in the disability insurance as my wife's treatments continued past the six month mark. We were told by the insurance company she was not going to receive long-term disability. The insurance company lied stating long-term disability was not selected for her at time of employment. Being she has TBI it was very difficult for her to understand what was happening. I had to do the work to find her original employment signing paperwork showing she had signed up, checked the box, and paid for this service. This was the first time we realized the insurance company was not here to "help" my wife. During this stage we received many complicated paperwork assignments from the insurance company and threats she was going to be dropped from coverage. You could feel the insurance company just wanted us to give up so they could save money. They do not care about your actual wellbeing. We did not give up like they wanted us to do. Months prior to the one year mark the threats became real as the insurance company randomly sent my wife a denial of coverage letter. They gave a ridiculous reason stating they felt she was fine now and was dropping her from long-term coverage again. Mind you, she had only been on long-term disability for a few months. Even though she was still receiving medical services and had multiple doctors stating the opposite. We did not accept the insurance games anymore and looked for help. Thankfully we talked with the Row Law Group. They are amazing people from the start and tell you up front what they will do. No false promises, as they walk you through realistically if they were able or not able to help and why. Luckily for us they saw what the insurance company was doing and had dealt with this same company many times. I love the fact they listen to your situation and you know they are in the fight with you. I have never seen complete strangers be an advocate for the truth and justice like the Row Law Group is. Over the process I could not imagine anyone else doing such an amazing tailored job to our situation as them. We have now had my wife's long term disabilities reinstated and now moving forward the insurance company has to still deal with our protectors the Row Law Group. If you are going through the ringer and fighting with an insurance company over short/long-term disability just stop the stress and fight alone. Don't delay like we did just CALL Row Law Group now. I wish we had called them earlier and my wife would not have had to cry or worry as much during the earliest stages of the fight. Our family is so grateful to the Row Law Group.

Mr. Gorton came highly recommended by a mutual acquaintance after I was seriously injured in a multiple vehicle collision. I had been struggling to navigate the insurance morass for more than a year before discovering my injuries had not been correctly diagnosed following several visits to doctors and dozens of painful physical therapy sessions that were making some things worse.
Once Mr. Gorton was on board, I was able to take a welcome break in not having to deal with this very confusing and frustrating issue as he took control of the case allowing me to focus on recovery. This gave me time and freedom to find a doctor who finally figured out underlying issues leading to multiple surgeries and more PT without the pressure from insurance companies to resolve the case quickly or continual questions about progress that seemed "too slow" for their company processes.
Mr. Gorton's extensive legal experience and deep understanding of the insurance profession led to a positive outcome. He used several specialists to create medical, financial and historical reports in preparation for court, which ultimately convinced the at fault party's insurance carrier to wisely settle pre-trial.
I appreciated his pace, counsel, reassurance and patience in dealing with court and insurance. His calm demeanor and tenacious advocacy were a huge plus.
This case began well before Covid hit, continuing through many months of court closures and slowdowns. He was there for me and my family every step of the way.

While walking through the crosswalk with my family I was struck by a vehicle and injured. It was a difficult time made more complex by the fact that I had no experience with the legal system or how medical billing for injuries work differently. My massage therapist recommended I hire an attorney and it was the "you won't have to talk to the insurance company again" part that sold it. Carter is an expert at what he does: detailed, persistent and a clear communicator. I'm grateful to have hired him. He told me exactly what the process was going to look like and followed up well. As a former admin I respect how well Carter kept track of details. At one point I was upset to receive a large bill from the Physical therapist that Carter was able to sort out for me. Without his expertise I would not have understood my rights, or gotten my settlement, which was sizable. Carter is a shrewd negotiator but more importantly, he is a quality human being and I wholeheartedly recommend him.

Carter hick helped me a lot after I was in a bike vs car accident. He helped me get my bike replaced in a matter of months, set up a pip claim under my insurance since the person who hit me didn't have pip and then once I was done with all of my medical treatment he got the pip claim reimbursed in addition to the settlement I got from the other persons insurance. During the process I had an ER visit, appointments with my doctor, x-rays, CT scan, chiropractic care and massages done to help with my recovery process and Carter was able to make sure that I didn't have to pay out pocket for any of it. He worked with me over the course of a year or so and made sure I was informed about everything and felt confident with his expertise. Very nice guy and very approachable.

I was driving for LYFT and after a minor fender bender (6 months past), I was surprised to get a court summons to pay the other guys insurance company the repair bill (about $5000). I thought LYFT had taken care of it but for whatever reason, they let it slip by without settling the problem. I started calling lawyers but w/o a personal injury component most would not even discuss it. Several referred me to Chris Rounds but I was a bit worried about how much it would cost! After a free consultation, I felt much better about the initial $1500 retainer. Chris quickly made some phone calls and wrote a letter and presto, Lyft settled the issue and I got a refund of almost $1000. I would highly recommend Chris as an ethical lawyer that explains your options very well.
