I was always a part of my grandsons life beginning the day he was born. That was taken away abruptly 2.5 years ago! I asked Chris Pritt if he would represent my case. I could not have asked for a better attorney than Chris Pritt. He was there for me and my grandson for 2.5 years! This past December I was granted grandparents rights and I get to see my grandson on regular basis now. Chris cared and understood as much as I did. The first time I met Mr. Weston I was languishing in a county jail charged with first-degree murder ill treated by the authorities and just hours after A man on drugs attempted a home invasion in the middle of the night of my house where my three small children, wife and I slept I was confused and disheveled I had never had any experience with the criminal justice system Mr. Weston treated me professionally and as if we were sitting in his office or my home and not in a prison within days I was out on bail Mr. Weston stuck with me In what became close to a two-year process to prove my innocence he did this in spite of the fact it was not a popular case the man who broke into my home on drugs was claimed as the grandson of a popular city Councilwoman the judge presiding over the case announced to the entire courtroom that he was good friends with this councilwoman this did not intimidate or scare Mr. Weston His team including Danny Lane found evidence that not only did the man who broke into my home did drugs he also sold drugs Mr. Weston then provided the information on our case to a self-defense and law-enforcement expert Mr. Dennis root who showed through his testimony and report that I did what was necessary to protect my family I was found innocent by a jury of my peers on all charges I would love to say this is because the system worked and yes I was innocent but I have no doubt the reason I am not in jail for the rest of my life and my children are not orphans is because Richard Wallace Weston represented me as my attorney

A little back story prior to the accident. We just lost a dear young relative unexpectedly and tragically a week and half before the accident. The accident itself occurred leaving the hospital where I was visiting my cancer-ridden grandmother in the hospital. We experienced so much trauma, heartbreak, and grief then came the accident. Words cannot express how devastating and stressful all of it was. I felt like I was hanging on by a thread. Then a family friend suggested Cranston & Edward’s to take care of the accident since we had so much else going on.
We called and truly believe it was a Godsend. They were so compassionate and caring. They took care of EVERYTHING!!!!! Health insurance didn’t want to take care of bills, so Stephanie called and took care of it. When the party at fault’s insurance didn’t want to give us a fair deal for the cost of the vehicle which was totaled, Brian helped. Whenever I had questions and wanted to talk, they were always available or called me back THAT DAY. They took away the anxiety and stress of the process and Brian fought hard to get us a good settlement.
I made a google account just to leave this review. I could not be happier. If you want someone to take the stress out of dealing with everything and someone to fight for you, then I highly recommend this law office.

I was hit by an ATV operated on a highway in rural WV while I was riding my Motorcycle. I lived, but shattered my shoulder blade, broke my right hand and tore my knee. Thank God the jerk had insurance but unfortunately it was State Farm. Even though the guy got a ticket for operating on a roadway, State Farm denied my claim; coming up with all sorts of stupid reasons why me getting hit by an off road vehicle with no lights, signals or plates was somehow my fault. To add insult to injury....it seemed nobody wanted to take my case! I called every attorney in the greater Morgantown area and was told that It wasn't quote: 'a slam dunk case'.
Thankfully Jon Godwin of Columbo Law agreed to hear my case. I went from nothing, to getting every penny due to me. Medical expenses-paid. Property damages-paid. Even an Under-insured claim against my own insurance to cover lost time from work. Jon was helpful and understanding, working with me for almost two years until resolution; and only making marginal profit on my case. He advised me on insurance law, policy limits, and even what to say and do 'heaven forbid' when/if this happens again.

I was hurt in a car accident that was not my fault. The insurance company offered to pay for my vehicle damage and medical cost but would not pay any more. I spoke with Mr. Patterson because someone told me he had done a good job for them. Mr. Patterson had the case scheduled for trial but the insurance company settled before the trial date. I did not have to pay Mr. Patterson to take my case. His fee came out of the settlement. After Mr. Patterson took his fee I still pocketed more than 5 times what the insurance company offered me. I know now that you need a good lawyer for insurance companies to treat you fair!

I recently spoke with Mr. Garcia about a hearing I have in 2 days. (My lawyer dropped me unexpectedly and I reached out for help.)
