I called yesterday to inquire about a recent interaction my 79 year old Mother had with this attorney that I had no knowledge of, and only found about inadvertently. I was merely calling to protect my Mother, nothing more . I asked if he could tell me what documents were signed because my Mother had no knowledge of what exact documents were signed. (I had asked my Mother multiple times what she had signed, but because she suffers from dementia she did NOT know. ) This question was met with EXTREME rudeness, "Ask your Mother! The house belongs to your Mother." Okay, from that comment, I can assume documents were signed affecting the title of my Mom's residence. Thanks for the clue. I said I would talk to my Mother and hung up. When I arrived at my Mother's, we called the office again to try and get some answers. Again, the response was beyond rude, "Who is this?" I let him know that I was with my Mother and WE wanted some answers. He said "Did you just leave a one star rating on my Google page?" I replied, "Yes, I did." He then went on to say that he knew I owned a massage business and was a professional, that what I did was vindictive, and he would not talk to me until I could be a professional. I hung up. He then left me a vm stating he didn't know if we got disconnected, or if I hung up, but he would be happy to talk to me? What?

All communication goes through her paralegal. She has incorrect or zero knowledge of our case when attending hearings. Does not inform clients of upcoming hearings. Dishonest to both judges and other lawyers. Absolutely destroyed my son’s estate due to repeated accounting mistakes. After my son suddenly and tragically lost his dad and I lost my husband, she destroyed our financial future. Beware.

Just prior to leaving on an international trip, my husband and I realized that we had to seriously look at our affairs by updating our very outdated estate planning papers. We called on Morgan Law Group and were immediately ushered into a professional and timely sequence of meetings that gently guided us in gathering our varied financial assets and coordinating them on one document so we could move effortlessly through a series of questions that would achieve our estate planning goals. We are more than satisfied with the result of our time with Darlynn Morgan and her team—we feel secure and prepared for the future. We highly recommend the estate planning services of Morgan Law Group. Sincerely, Becky T. Corona Del Mar, CA

Mr Drucker was personable, informative and helpful every step of the way in my Estate Planning venture. The process was something avoided... until my husband and parents all suddenly died and I was alone. Stephen helped guide me through the process of protecting my inherited assets by creating a trust. Likewise, my children are now protected from a probate situation should something happen to me in the future. Additionally, he prepared my advanced directive which details my wishes and further protects my children from having to second guess what it is I would want should my health decline. None of this was something I looked forward to... However, I must say that Mr Drucker and his staff made it painless.... and I am now able to sleep well at night!!!! Thank you Legal Action Workshop

I do not recommend consulting this lawyer. Marlene provided me with a very horrible initial consultation experience. Facts: 1) I called regarding an elderly relative who currently receives SSI benefits, and is at risk of losing them when he receives an insurance settlement payment in the near future. 2) I tried asking her simple questions about what he can do to avoid losing his benefits (e.g. set up a Special Means Trust) 3) When I tried to ask questions, she would interrupt me, and accuse me of asking bad questions. 4) I felt rushed during the consultation when she told me "I don't know you and I am talking to you for free" multiple times.

In 2006 I found myself in the position of Administrator of an estate for a friend of over 35 years. It was a difficult matter due to the fact that the Will was not a current instrument and many of the beneficiaries were deceased as well. Marlene was unwaivering in her approach as to complete fairness and equitable treatment for all the remaining beneficiaries of the Estate. She gave excellent counsul to me in doing the necessary to distribute and close the Estate. I always felt I couldn't have had better legal counsel. At all times she anticipated the needs of the family and myself and ensured a smooth process every step of the way. I would recommend her where the situation was volatile and needed some finesse in the transactions between all of the parties.

I am eternally grateful for my attorney Payson, whose unwavering dedication and exceptional skills have not only restored my life to normalcy but also secured a victorious outcome in my case. From the moment I sought his guidance, he exhibited a deep understanding of my situation and an unwavering commitment to fighting for justice on my behalf. His expertise, meticulous preparation, and relentless advocacy were instrumental in achieving a favorable resolution. Payson’s unwavering support and guidance provided me with the reassurance and confidence I needed throughout the legal process. I contacted Albertson & Davidson, LLP because they specialized in Litigation and Trusts, and I had a personal family trust case. From the very beginning, all the attorneys, managers and paralegals were very attentive, empathetic and there for me through the whole process. I felt very comfortable talking with them and discussing my personal information with them. They were very fair and transparent with me every step of the way. I contacted this firm two years ago to represent me on a trust matter. I was impressed by their eagerness to help me and thankful no upfront cost had to be paid. Only a percentage, albeit a large one, of the estate. The first attorney that was assigned my case filed a petition on my behalf. Before that petition could be heard in court I was assigned a different attorney. And when questions arouse regarding information I was given by the filling attorney, which conflicted with the information I was receiving now from this new attorney, they refused to allow me to speak with the previous attorney. Sadly, after four months it became painfully clear they had no Intention of following through on the actions they promised during our consult. I believe they “represented “ me once or twice in court for a maximum of 30 minutes total. Yet I had four different attorneys throughout the four months they represented me. In a not at all unrelated matter... My children and I are going to be homeless unless a miracle happened by 9/16 but at least my attorneys got paid.

I had three Trustees who refused to communicate or work with me on any level. They were rude, hateful, dishonest, and they did not care about me or my interest in the Trust. My trust was losing money month after month. I went to several lawyers for help and they told me that nothing could be done, and that I didn't have a case! I then met with Stewart Albertson at Albertson & Davidson, LLP and he accepted my case. Stewart helped me when no one else wanted to! After several years of aggressive litigation by Stewart and his team, he was able to get the three Trustees removed, not an easy thing to do under California law. A new trustee, receptive to my needs, was appointed. I will soon be receiving an outright distribution from the Trust. I can't thank Stewart and his team enough for all they did for me. They take a personal interest in their clients, and genuinely care about them. They go above and beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend Stewart and Albertson & Davidson, LLP to anyone who is a beneficiary being abused or mistreated by Trustees.

Sandra is a trustworthy, nice, ethical, and smart lawyer. She provided legal represention for my divorce for over 14 months. She understands and is knowlegbable about family law. I would recommend her for simple and straightfoward divorvce cases, with minimal complexity or challenge. That said, for complex, detailed, and combative, and adversarial divorce cases, I would not recommend her. I experienced constant delays, lack of feedback ,and lack of clear direction from Sandra during my case. I had several outstanding issues that were never resolved after many dicussions with her. At times she seemed a bit overwhelmed . After switching to new legal counsel, sevral of my unresolved issues managed by Sandra are in the process of being addressed and resolved after only a few days. I now have a very clear game plan. I like Sandra on a personal basis and wish her much sucesss in the future.

I worked with Jan to create my will and trust after my divorce. She was matter of fact and very thorough in the process. Since I have known Jan for many years I can attest to her honesty and diligence to the law, and willingness to tell someone when they are wrong. Like many, I can be biased by my own ideas. Jan has solid legal perspective and always kept my goals in mind, talking me through the facts and legal issues to make a good decision. I’m glad I worked with Jan. She covered all the angles, from how my assets were registered with my financial company to ensuring the legal language fit with the changing relationships of family members and everything else. Jan did an outstanding in reviewing and preparing both my parents estate plan and then my own. She prepared a Special Needs Estate Plan for my parents which was very complex and involved very sensitive and emotional family issues. She not only handled the legal aspects, but counseled us in a very personal way which enabled us to move forward and make some very necessary provisions. After having worked with Jan through the process of creating my parent's plan, I immediately contacted her after my parent's plan was complete to review my own trust and estate plan which was enacted after my husband passed away. Jan immediately spotted some issues which needed to be taken care of, and we worked together to create a new plan which protects both me and my 13 year old daughter in a much more effective way. Having worked with two other law firms in the creation of both my parent's first estate plan and my own first trust and estate plan, the difference with Jan is MORE than apparent. She brings a personal approach to estate law that is sadly missing from other firms. She takes the time to truly get to know her clients and create a personal relationship with them. She isn't just the attorney that created my trust - she is part of my support system and I know I can reach out at any time with questions. I could not have been more pleased with Jan. She is the BEST of the best. I wholeheartedly recommend her!!!!!

So after 4 months of thinking my case involving a infestation of mice & rats(caught 15)was being worked on, I found out that my case was terminated almost immediately after accepting my case because I answered no to one of the criminal background questions that mentioned having any recent criminal activities etc which is true, over 6 years plus is not recent so I guess they don’t trust to represent us because of that I feel it’s discrimination because what does having a criminal record have to do with us needing the help?! It shouldn’t have even taking me reaching out to find this out. Very unprofessional for a law firm & they don’t have your best interest obviously.. like how you can’t sympathize with a family that obviously needs representation & justice from & very inhabitable situation if that’s your job?!

When we went to the appellate court and won the decision the court used our argument in there written decision. The whole case lasted over 5 years, we went through 4 trials and never lost once. I hired Mark Ross to help me with a corrupt trustee who we eventually were able to get rid of despite her spending nearly all trust assets defending herself using the most expensive law firm in Orange County. Throughout the 5 years of struggle, Mark's billings were clear and reasonable. He did an excellent job of keeping me informed of everything that was happening, was open and considerate to my input, and responsive to my concerns. Mark kept up with all critical dates and timelines despite having several other cases. Mark's judgment was good in that he advised when to fight and when to accept and settle. His focus was on my welfare, not just generating fee income. We didn't win every battle, but we won the war.

Communication was excellent and he returned phone calls and emails promptly. His advice was well worth the expense of his representation.

In my past jobs, I have always worked with corporate legal counsels, but have never thought that I would need representation on a personal level regarding estate trust concerns. In my first meeting with Andy, he was extremely thorough in explaining the potential situations that could arise and possible positions to be taken, which I appreciated very much. Also, throughout this process, Andy was very responsive to situations that came up. In addition, he always communicated to me when he was out of the office handling another case, but would always be available if required. If you need an attorney knowledgeable about estate trust questions/concerns, I would highly recommend Andy.

Over the last ten years I have been increasingly involved in my father's estate, which is large, diverse and presents many business and legal issues. Over that period I have met, worked with, been opposed by, hired and fired several attorneys and firms in various areas of practice. I hired Andrew Verriere as a litigator to defend my father's estate plans in court. While we have not yet concluded the action, I am very confident in my choice of Mr. Verriere. He has been great at keeping me informed, understanding and answering my questions, and being promptly available. He has also shown his knowledge and abilities with the law, arguing persuasively and so far, prevailing in cutting edge legal matters. On one occasion, Mr. Verriere respectfully presented an argument resulting in a favorable reversal of the Judge's preliminary ruling. Later, outside court a random lawyer came by to say "nice job" to Mr. Verriere. Not something that happens every day in my experience. Mr. Verriere' s firm Hartog, Baer & Hand, and principal Mr. David Baer have also been supportive and helpful to his efforts on my behalf. I am very pleased with the decision to hire Mr. Andrew Verriere, and would recommend him and his firm to others.

Actually for me the name "Andrew Verriere" brings back some emotional memories. Years ago my father passed, we were very very close, but unfortunately there was little time to grieve for me or my family. His wife and her shady attorney decided that they didn't like the prenuptial agreement she had signed or the family Trust that had both been in place for many years. I had a lot on my plate; Calming siblings and reassuring them that the Trust would be defended. I hire Mr. Verriere. Truth be told... At first I wasn't sure if I had pick the right attorney. I thought maybe he was a bit mild-mannered and of course he was much younger then, I thought that might be an issue, I had the world on my shoulders and I remember we got in a couple of minor spats. But, I liked the way he explained the process and shared his strategy with me. We talked and emailed A LOT, so I stayed the course. After many months trial day finally came. Wow! I never have seen any attorney so prepare. He made mincemeat out of the plaintiff and opposition witness. My thought of him being too mild-mannered went out the window. And the opposing lawyer seemed less and less confident (cocky) as the day went on. Midway though the trial every person in the court room knew which way things were going and which lawyer they would want on their side. Of course we (he) won the day. And as I look back on it now, hiring and staying with Mr. Verriere was one of first and proudest choices I had to make in those really tough times. I'm still proud of myself for it.

Met with this guy for a "Free Consultation" after briefly speaking to him on the phone earlier. Had a bad feeling the moment I entered the premises. Explained why I was there and what I was seeking in regards to my ongoing issue with the "Trustee" of my late father. He asked me to provide him with a specific document to review, before he would be able to help me, and determine if there was a case to be sought. Unfortunately, I didn't have it wit me so I said I would go home and fax it to him for review. As I was walking out his office, I made a "Big Mistake" and handed him a check (Retainer Fee) for what he charged for his service, $3,500.00 along with a signed retainer agreement. I asked him to only deposit the check if he could help me, since i had to move some funds around so the check would be good. I told him that this was in "GOOD FAITH", so he would know that I wasn't going to waste his time. I heard back from him that evening that he received the document and thanked me. I did not hear back from him for 2 1/2 weeks. He sent me an e-mail on his opinion of the document and what he over all thought. It wasn't what I was hoping for. Here's my point, I met with him. The same day I faxed him what he needed to see before he could tell me he will take on the case, and that he could definitely help me. I never heard back from him other that an e-mail, stating that he received the Document I faxed to him. He knew that same day, that after reviewing the info I faxed over to him, there was no case, and that he wouldn't be able to help me. Instead he ran to the bank and cached my $3,500.00 "GOOD FAITH CHECK" and disappeared for over 2 1/2 weeks. I guess his reasoning was to hide out and avoid me until he could justify charging me for the "Free Consultation", my numerous brief e-mails trying to reach him, and my phone calls when my patience began to run out! If he had any integrity, he would have just given my check back and honestly said, I CAN'T HELP YOU'! Now to get my money back, I will have to take him to SMALL CLAIMS COURT'! So, if you don't want to have the same bad experience I had, be more careful in selecting an attorney from the get go, one that you feel comfortable with. Always go with your 1st impression! Don't make the same mistake I did. Yours Truly, Just another taken advantage Senior here in South Bay.

Mr. Borden I will admit in court he is a very good attorney. But i would not recommend him. I made him my administrator to my estate and he wasn't faithful to his duties. He did us very wrong. At thr end he sided with the respondent.

I wanted to take a moment to write a VERY positive review about my experience with Mr. Borden and his legal team. There really are not enough words to explain how thoughtful, confident and professional Mr. Borden’s legal demeanor is and how he guided my family and I through a very difficult time. My family and I were undergoing a very messy will settlement. We had hit an impasse in which one member of the family had determined they were owed the entirety of the will and had proceeded to have it changed after the passing of one of the will’s signing members. The remaining family, myself included, believed we were helpless and without any recourse. Luckily, we were put into contact with Mr. Borden, who immediately read and clearly explained the wording of the will, our rights, and recommendations on how to proceed. He offered immediate relief, and a much-needed positive, yet practical, outlook on the case. He guided us with patience, calm, and a very professional demeanor, writing very strong, and well-thought out letters to the opposing lawyer. Mr. Borden stayed focused to the important points of the case, and never got distracted by personal rhetoric being thrown by the other side. We felt constantly supported, and appreciated the skill in which he navigated our case. You can easily feel overwhelmed and without proper knowledge when you enter into a legal arena on personal matters. Mr. Borden is absolutely the right lawyer to go to for a better understanding of your legal rights and a fair handling of your case. I HIGHLY recommend him and will use him in any future legal matters.

I came to Vivian with all my child support documents from the Department of Child Support Agency because I am a complete novice to the judicial procedure system. She lead me into thinking that my court hearing will be a child custody hearing. Affraid of loosing my child, I asked her what are my options?she gave me two options one was to file a restraining order and second have her write a declaration. I choose the second option which was inapplicable, unnecessary and possibly detrimental. My case was brought by DCS, I supposedly didn't have to do anything on my part because child support is helping me get money from my child's father. I spent 1,500 and stressed for months thinking that I was going to loose my child when it was just a child support hearing.

Attorney Lu communicated and explained the process and fee very clearly and delivered the result within committed time line. She didn't nickel and dime with me on phone consolation so I got very good information couple of times through simple phone calls for free. I think Lawyers are all overcharging people but it is certainly worth the money with Attorney Lu.

In April of 2016, I called to ask if my mom had a DNR. At this time I was offered that a POA be mailed (which I DID NOT ask for) with the DNR. In June when my 82 year old mother was facing major hospital bills , I found out my POA did not work. Why did they not know it would not work????? In June 2016 (when my POA did not work) I was treated like a criminal by secretary (?) Susan. After consulting several law firms, I was a made aware that Susan's questions where not warranted, she had no right to ask. I was charged $250.00 to amend the trust and still had to go to another firm for proper POA. Nothing these people do makes any sense. Proceed with caution. How was I not a criminal in April, but became one in June? Oh, maybe because that shXX they sold my mom didn't work and they wanted more money? WHEE

My Mom passed away and I was "elected" to be the Administrator, I was very nervous, having never had to work with a Lawyer before. Mr. Bilson is very easy to work with, if you don't understand he will explain it to you until you do. He is very nice to work with. Very thorough. And his office staff is very nice.

Specific issue: Carrying out a Trust I became the excutor of a trust. My friend pasted away and I was honored to carry out his final wishes. The law office of Michael Bilson was named in the trust by my friend. I contacted Michael's office to make an appointment to start my task. I have to mention Michael's office staff and thier professionalism. Gail and Susan were so helpful with any question I had, and I had a lot. Their contribution to assist the process was fantasic. Personable and friendly with every meeting. Private meetings with Michael were efficient and educational. I was reassured every step of the process. I wanted to do the best I could to expedite carrying out this process to help my friend's family. After my first meeting and we got the ball rolling I was johnny on the spot with every doument that needed to be signed to move this on in a fast pace. A real estate agent was recomended and that was a good experience for me too. I complied all the finances and paid out to the family what was willed to them. When I signed the final checks, the whole process was completed in about 90 days. I been assured that the law office of Michael Bilson is a place that I can be taken care of.

What a Probate Lawyer Can Do for You

A probate lawyer assists with the legal process of administering a deceased person’s estate. This often involves guiding executors (if a will exists) or beneficiaries (if no will exists) through the probate process to settle the estate according to the deceased’s wishes or applicable laws. Probate lawyers can help validate the will, distribute assets, resolve disputes among heirs, handle outstanding debts or taxes, and ensure the estate is legally and efficiently administered.

Whether you’re an executor of an estate or an heir facing probate proceedings, a probate lawyer can help you navigate the often-complex legal process to ensure the estate is settled correctly.

When Should I Hire a Probate Lawyer?

You should consider hiring a probate lawyer when you are responsible for managing the estate of a deceased individual, especially in the following situations:

  • The estate has substantial assets: If the estate includes significant assets like real estate, investments, or business interests, legal assistance is often necessary to handle the distribution properly.
  • The will is being contested: If there are disputes among heirs regarding the validity of the will or the division of assets, a probate lawyer can help resolve the conflict.
  • The estate includes complex or unclear provisions: If the will contains complicated instructions or there are no clear beneficiaries, a lawyer can ensure that the estate is administered according to legal requirements.
  • There is no will (intestate estate): When a person dies without a will, the estate is subject to intestacy laws, which determine how assets are distributed. A probate lawyer can help navigate this process.
  • Debt or tax issues exist: If the estate owes significant debts or is subject to estate taxes, a probate lawyer can help ensure debts are paid appropriately and taxes are minimized.
  • Probate disputes: If family members or other parties are disputing the distribution of assets or challenging the executor's actions, legal representation is crucial to defending your rights and ensuring the estate is handled properly.

Hiring a probate lawyer early in the process can help avoid costly mistakes and ensure the estate is settled efficiently.

What Does a Probate Lawyer Do?

A probate lawyer provides a wide range of legal services to help manage and settle an estate. Their tasks can include:

  • Validating the will: Filing the will with the probate court and ensuring its legal validity.
  • Guiding executors or administrators: Advising the person responsible for managing the estate on their duties, including inventorying assets, notifying creditors, and paying debts.
  • Filing necessary paperwork: Preparing and submitting the legal documents required to initiate and complete the probate process.
  • Resolving disputes: Mediating or litigating disputes among heirs or between beneficiaries and executors, including challenges to the will or disagreements over asset distribution.
  • Handling debt and tax matters: Ensuring that outstanding debts, taxes, and estate taxes are properly calculated and paid from the estate’s assets.
  • Distributing assets: Ensuring that assets are distributed to the beneficiaries according to the will or intestacy laws, and that all legal requirements are fulfilled.
  • Closing the estate: Completing the final steps of the probate process, including filing a final accounting with the court and formally closing the estate.

How Are Probate Lawyers Paid?

Probate lawyers typically charge for their services based on the complexity of the estate and the nature of the legal work involved. Common payment structures include:

  • Hourly rate: Most probate lawyers charge by the hour, with rates depending on the lawyer’s experience and the complexity of the estate. Hourly rates can range from $150 to $500 or more.
  • Flat fee: For simple estates or straightforward probate tasks, some lawyers may charge a flat fee that covers all of the necessary legal work.
  • Percentage of the estate: In some states, probate lawyers are allowed to charge a percentage of the estate's value as their fee. This percentage typically ranges from 2% to 5%, depending on the size of the estate and state regulations.
  • Retainer fee: Some lawyers may require an upfront retainer fee, which is billed against as the probate process progresses.

It’s important to clarify the fee structure during your initial consultation to understand how you will be charged and avoid unexpected costs.

How Much Does a Probate Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a probate lawyer depends on several factors, including the complexity of the estate, the type of legal issues involved, and the lawyer’s fee structure. General cost estimates include:

  • Simple estates: For estates with straightforward assets and no disputes, probate legal fees can range from $2,500 to $10,000, depending on the lawyer's fees and the state's probate laws.
  • Complex estates: For larger or more complicated estates with multiple properties, business interests, or disputes, probate costs can exceed $10,000 and may reach $20,000 or more.
  • Hourly rates: If charged by the hour, expect rates between $150 and $500, depending on the lawyer’s expertise and geographic location.
  • Percentage fees: In some cases, a probate lawyer may charge 2% to 5% of the estate’s value, particularly for larger estates or those involving complex legal matters.

Always ask for a clear estimate of fees during your initial consultation to understand the total cost of probate representation.

Top Questions to Ask a Probate Lawyer

Before hiring a probate lawyer, it’s essential to ask the right questions to ensure you’re hiring someone qualified to handle your estate needs. Key questions include:

  1. What experience do you have with probate cases like mine?
Ensure the lawyer has experience with estates of similar complexity, especially if disputes or high-value assets are involved.
  2. How do you charge for your services?
Ask whether the lawyer charges an hourly rate, a flat fee, or a percentage of the estate, and request a cost estimate.
  3. What is the likely timeline for my probate case?
While it’s hard to predict exactly, an experienced lawyer can give you a general idea of how long the probate process may take based on the specifics of your estate.
  4. What steps will you take to manage and distribute the estate?
Ask about the lawyer’s approach to handling debts, taxes, and asset distribution.
  5. Will you be handling my case personally?
In larger firms, junior attorneys or paralegals may handle some aspects of your case, so it’s important to know who will be working on your probate case.
  6. What are potential challenges we may face?
A good lawyer will be able to anticipate possible issues, such as will contests or creditor claims, and explain how they would handle them.

How to Check the Credibility of a Probate Lawyer

To ensure you’re hiring a reputable probate lawyer, follow these steps to check their credentials and experience:

  • Verify their state bar status: Check with your state’s bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed to practice and has no history of disciplinary action.
  • Look for probate experience: Review the lawyer’s website or professional profile to ensure they specialize in probate law and have experience handling estates of similar complexity.
  • Read client reviews and testimonials: Look for online reviews on platforms like Avvo or Martindale-Hubbell to see what past clients have said about the lawyer’s probate experience.
  • Ask for references: A credible lawyer should be able to provide references from past clients who can vouch for their professionalism and expertise in handling probate matters.
  • Look for membership in professional organizations: Membership in organizations like the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys (AAEPA) or the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) can indicate a lawyer's commitment to estate and probate law.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most out of your first consultation with a probate lawyer, it’s important to come prepared with relevant documents and information. Here’s what you should bring:

  • A copy of the will or trust (if applicable): Bring any estate planning documents left by the deceased, including wills, trusts, or powers of attorney.
  • List of assets and debts: Prepare a detailed list of the deceased’s assets (e.g., real estate, bank accounts, investments) and outstanding debts (e.g., loans, mortgages, credit cards).
  • Death certificate: Bring a certified copy of the deceased person’s death certificate.
  • Contact information for heirs and beneficiaries: Have a list of all individuals or entities named in the will or who are entitled to inherit under intestacy laws.
  • Questions about the probate process: Write down any questions you have about the process, costs, and potential issues you might face.
  • Relevant financial records: If available, bring any relevant financial documents, such as bank statements, property deeds, and tax returns.

By coming prepared, you can ensure a productive consultation and allow the lawyer to provide the best advice for your situation.
