After a death, the last thing you want to do is worry about someone liquidating your fathers assets. This is what my sisters and I had to face a week after burying our dad. Due to him not having a will things where really complicated and his wife tried to take advantage of the situation. A family friend referred us to Bill and he has been a breath of fresh air throughout this entire process. Her attorney has been procrastinating the entire time and Bill has been on him like white on rice! Bill is very much to the point- no BS so if you want to be coddled then this one isn't for you. But, if you want the facts and someone that is going to give it to you straight while fighting for what's right then Bill is your guy. I highly recommend his team to anyone going through probate or a family settlement agreement. He's expensive but well worth the money I promise!

There are few things as personal as a family dispute. There are even fewer people with integrity that will ethically represent you during an extremely difficult time. I interviewed many firms, as it was not only important to me that a positive outcome occurred, I also wished for someone that understood my plight and had character throughout the process. I engaged John Dubiel at Bristol & Dubiel LLP to assist me in obtaining a judgement for an overdue debt of close to $1.0 million. John was responsive and did a great job of working with me on the debt. The debtor came up with all kinds of crazy excuses/affidavits but through John's excellent legal work and guidance we were able to obtain a summary judgement for the whole amount and everything we asked for. I highly recommend John Dubiel for your legal needs especially in difficult situations.

However, I found Nancy to be very knowledgeable in Texas family law. Since my divorce, I have contacted her office on several occasions with questions, etc., and she is always prompt in responding. 12 years ago I was caught up in a Real Estate scam on my new home with a finance company. Wound up so deep in debt from being lied to. I scheduled a conference with Bill. He pointed out that Chapter 7 was our only survival. He proceeded to file the bankruptcy successfully. Fantastic job.

I needed a criminal attorney badly. I spoke with Luka Garica about my case. He agreed to take the case and quoted 50K up to trial. I made an appointment, and paid the down payment, and Luka returned the money within 10-minutes and made an excuse that they had other projects. I am filing a complaint with the bar, and I will also sue for violating a verbal agreement. I cannot tell anyone not to use this law firm. But I will never trust them again. It appears that the law firm wanted to leave me without representation to assist the prosecutors. If I could I would give this law firm a zero. I do not trust them and will protest in front of their building when I get time. Horrible! Unethical and untrustworthy.

We were fortunate to have Sarah come alongside our lawyer, Mark Caldwell when our case went to mediation. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I started working with them in March of 2024. The attorney is just NOW telling me he doesn’t see it as a viable case. My 3 year old son got his thumb severely crushed while at daycare and had to have surgery to fix it. They worked awfully slow and barely followed up. The worst attorneys in the DFW area.

Mark came into my case as a referral by a trusted friend. I quickly realized that he possesses a natural talent of being able to sift through the nonsense and is able to really identify the areas that need to be addressed. He did this with such finesse and all the while demonstrated his understanding my goals of just making sure the right things were done and final wishes carried out. I truly appreciate his willingness to understand and relate to the struggles of all parties involved. Mark has been such a wonderful lawyer for us and we are so grateful he was referred to us. We needed a lawyer in Texas to handle a trust gone bad! The first successor trustee who was the nephew of the deceased ran off with over $400,000 in trust assets before he subsequently died. It has been a long process but Mark has been so good at keeping us informed of the situation and being thorough in all his dealings. Thankfully we were able to reach a very favorable settlement in mediation which was 100% because of Mark's diligent work and tenacity. The absolute worst traffic attorneys I’ve ever hired and I’ve had my fair share of speeding tickets
The reason to hire an attorney wa so was so busy that I couldn’t deal with the court I needed help and these absolute fools took my money and that was the end of it I’ve had to deal with everything myself and it was worse because I thought the matters was handled I basically paid them to tell me what I know and there is no refunds only bad attitudes
I did my differed disposition after they accepted the first deal that came through even though I wanted to fight it
After completing it my attorneys I’ve used in the past normally send it it to the court and handle everything from there but when I told the attorney I finished my defensive driving all they said was cool good luck and I had to figure out the rest on my own

Also, Mr. Balen took the initiative to help me with the sales of my father’s estate.
