At some point in your life you will most likely need a lawyer's services and where do you go searching - the internet of course as most of us don't want share our need with friends/family so that's where the confusing part begins - who to select, who to trust, who can we afford, do we really need them. Some of us will see that big attorney commercial and call and become a billable number - been there done that before as well. Who do you think is paying for that commercial and big office and big staff - you are!
I was referred to Natalie by 2 separate friends (not in the same friend group who I actually shared my situation with). I am glad I called and followed their recommendation.
She is a small boutique attorney that takes her time to help and guide you through your legal needs. You want just be another client, you will be her client. You may make a new friend in the process. She takes each case and personally involves herself to fight the fight for your legal rights.
She specializes in many areas of family law - divorce, wills, guardianship, power of attorney, trusts, probate, child custody, special needs (is a parent to special needs child). Divorce is never fun but Natalie made the experience easy and quick. She answered all my questions even though I thought some of them were stupid she never made me feel inferior, even when I had to ask her twice. This man is worth every single penny. WORTH IT. I have never seen an attorney more prepared and ready to attack in court. Custody court was mentally the toughest thing I had ever gone through along with living 300 miles away. Mike helped me through every step. He made sure I was clear on everything and understood what was going on at all times. We had telephone conferences and I only had to come in office a few times.
His ability to recollect laws and cases in court is astounding and he made my ex’s lawyer look like he’d never been to law school or passed a bar exam a day in his life. Mike came fully prepared to rock my ex’s world and did. I have FULL SOLE CUSTODY with supervised visits for the other party. If I had to do it all over again he’s the ONLY attorney I would consider. I wish he actually practiced in the state I live in.

Where to start? How about the beginning... My wife and I started a family late in life and only now were financially able to purchase our first home together. Being a huge financial decision, we also decided it was time to create our wills should the unfortunate happen to one or both of us. We wanted to protect our survivor and our now 20-year-old child.
For months we surfed in the internet and asked various friends for advice, not necessarily asking them for referrals. This is our private business and we treated it as such. We wanted to make our own decisions, not be overly influenced by others. We happened to come upon GAWTP in Marietta and read up on them, doing some research at various professional online sites too. After comparing them to other possibilities, I decided to give them a call for a free consult. The administrative/office assistant, Rachel, was very pleasant, and seemed to appreciate my whacky self-deprecating sense of humor and we hit it off (good sign). She took down the necessary information and told me to expect a call from one of the firm's attorneys in the very near future.
Well, sure enough, within a day I was speaking to Amanda Riedling, WOW...!!! She just hit it out of the park. Unassuming, pleasant, cheerful, and eager. I like that last one best. She explained in not too boring detail (lol) what to expect and that was all it took. She just made these life decisions seem simple. She and her team would do the dirty work, all we had to do was supply them with various details. Done deal. I hired them.
We scheduled an online meeting and went over all the pertinent options clients, such as us, could face. We are far from being considered wealthy. Not on fixed income yet, but getting closer every day (lol). I was supplied with links to video tutorials on not only what to expect, but how to best make the decisions themselves. Wonderfully done! Kudos to Dawn.
We've since visited their office in downtown Marietta, signed our documents, had them witnessed, and actually enjoyed the entire process from start to finish. We even took our new puppy with us!
You'd think making these types of decisions would be rather agonizing and maybe stressful since they are about the end of life, however Amanda was so caring, sensitive to our needs, easy-going, so heartwarming, we just felt like we mattered. My wife and I made a great decision. You can too.

Since It had been 19 years since we had our wills, POAs, and ADs drawn up and in that time our attorney had retired and transferred our files, with our permission, to another attorney – we decided it was time to update our documents. Our only problem was the attorney that had our files was no longer in practice. A diligent search for a new law firm was begun and after reviewing numerous firms and their reviews, my wife and I chose Georgia Wills, Trusts, & Probate Law Firm LLC. It was a good choice. One phone call, identifying what we wanted to accomplish; a “Zoom” meeting introducing Amanda Riedling, Partner, to confirm our goals and another to review and confirm the contents of the draft documents she had presented so the final documents could be created, followed by a meeting at the office to sign the final documents. Amanda was great to work as were the other members of her team. They made you feel “at home” from the first phone call through the signing and beyond.

My wife and I needed to revise our estate planning documents, because since our last documents were executed we had moved to Georgia, our adult daughter had become disabled, and the tax laws had changed. Allison was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the documents we would need. She also asked our preferences and offered suggestions on how to include them in our estate plan. When the drafts were provided to us, Allison took the time to explain each of the documents and answer our questions when the legal phrasing was somewhat unclear to us. She guided us through the Power of Attorney and Medical Directive drafts and explained the possible outcomes of the choices available to us. She also provided a cover letter which not only included a summary of our bequest preferences but also how best to achieve those preferences. Included with the cover letter were instructions on how to title ownership in our accounts and assets in Georgia so our preferences were more readily accomplished upon our demise and what title changes would be necessary when the first of us dies. Lastly, she suggested non-legal documents we may want to prepare to assist our executors, trustees, and beneficiaries in carrying out and explaining our final wishes. Allison is a very pleasant person with whom to work, and we highly recommend her.

I was blessed to work with attorney/judge Barber, his wife Patti and Darla. I gained a remarkable respect for both the professionalism and humanitarianism practiced in this firm. Leaving my job here, for an advanced position I felt led to take at that time, I still cried the whole way home and pray to this day that I was led along the right path. From the moment we made the first called and spoke with Nancy and the very last paper was signed stamp and handed to us we were more than satisfied and impressed. We had a rough 6months with passing of our father my mother husband/best friend more than 50 years it was time to find a lawyer for my mom to make a will so we did not have to go through what we did with our father. Having been involved last year in settling a relatives' estate with nothing more than a software generated, one-size-fits-all Will, we knew we wanted something more comprehensive than that for our Estate. Additionally, we needed a clear, objective comparison of Trusts vs Wills, and which would be the best fit for us.
