Alexandra worked tirelessly once my father became terminal with cancer. He left behind a 2 year old son that we needed help with - figuring out all of the logistics and such. She had paperwork signed and hand delivered to the courthouse for us. When there was a custody battle for said child, she got us in contact with another amazing attorney.
Honestly she just went above and beyond. So professional and so knowledgable.

I had small estate probate questions that the court's website did not answer. I found it was too much information to untangle, especially during the grieving process. Andrew made it very simple, giving me step-by-step instructions what to do, where to send the forms and documents, what to expect, everything. I wish I would have called 6 months ago. My wife and I had an estate plan drawn up by another lawyer about 8 years ago. When it was time to update it, our original lawyer had retired so we need to find a new lawyer. This site was actually one of several source we used to select David. It has turned out to be a wise decision as David has proved to be very proficient in the area of estate planning with a wealth of experience to draw on. I attribute this in large part because he has a sincere passion for this area of law and interest in providing his client the highest levels of satisfaction. He certainly made the process as easy as possible. Although our original plan was sufficient, there were items that David addressed in our updated version that will definitely add value. Andrew Merriman hands down is the best lawyer I've ever dealt with. After my brother died in Jan. of 2001 without a will I contacted several lawyers regarding his estate and decided to hire Andrew. He is prompt, knowledgeable, and thorough. I had a lot going on at this time (I had another brother pass a few months later and parents in their 90's to take care of. Not to mention I live out of state) and I found Andrew to be patient and understanding during this difficult time. In my opinion Andrew Merriman was the perfect representation I could have had during a time of crisis. Not only did he handle my custody case with great detail and care he was also able to guide and help me emotionally as a very young man going through one of the most difficult times in my life. Andrew Merriman saved my house from being foreclosed on. I didn't pay the mortgage for 17 months. Don't ask me how he did it. Spectacular job. In fact, I have used him for multiple legal issues and he always does a spectacular job, evictions, divorce, all handled, all wins from him for me. He is an honest lawyer and still a high-quality lawyer (impossible to find). Very alert in the courtroom. I still use him whenever something comes up.

Mr. Lacey initially litigated a rental dispute with an apartment complex in Rochester Hills Michigan. The apartment complex claimed that I owed them money and was suing me for that money and more. Mr. Lacey was referred to me by a co-worker. I presented Mr. Lacey with the proof that I didn't owe the money and he was successful in resolving the issue in my favor. Because of this issue I decided to move and a few years later the complex tried to sue me for wrongful termination of the lease even though I gave the complex written notice that I was leaving because of the negative history that we had together and they agreed to let me go. I contacted Mr. Lacey again and the final result was a "tie"; the ruling was that I had to pay some money to the complex but they had to give me back my security deposit which they had held.
More recently Mr. Lacey helped my husband and I create our Living Wills.

We were in need of an attorney located in Michigan to help us dispose of family property in the state of Michigan. This involved several family members and most living in different states. Attorney Melissa is truly a great advocate for her clients and has been a Godsend. From the time in met her the first time until now, she has been wonderful. Divorce is very hard and she was there every step of the way. She called back very fast when I had questions and concerns, even later in the evening apparently when she was still working.
