Last year my Dad passed away and there were problems with his estate. Before Joe, I hired two attorneys to help me. The first one charged me $2,500 for two letters. The second charged me $10,000, never answered any questions,never sent me an invoice, withdrew from the case and left me high and dry.
Joe cleaned up the mess. He ALWAYS returned my calls and e mails. The best $100 I ever spent in my life was for the one hour preview of my case. Joe DID exactly what he said he would do. Joe Gorman is a honest, caring professional attorney. What else would you want in your lawyer? Thank you, Joe.

I retained Cindy Stock, Esq., on two separate occasions regarding divorce and custody issues. She was imminently qualified as she had previously represented clients in domestic cases, and had been practicing law for a number of years. Her representation was par excellence. Her high degree of knowledge of the law and command of the English language was nothing short of impressive. She was very thorough in her representation, covering items one doesn’t think of during such times. I could not have asked for, nor received, a more acceptable outcome. No words can describe what Jessica did for my son and my life. When I found Jessica it was through word of mouth. She was referred to me by Ms. McNair. I was informed she is the best family law attorney. I came to her for a custody of my only son and a relocation out of the state of Nevada. It can be a real pain to find an attorney, especially when you're trying to deal with a time sensitive crisis. I called about half a dozen lawyers before contacting Matt Pruitt. I'm very glad I got through to him.
If you've tried to hire a lawyer, you know most don't really listen while you speak. They are processing what you're saying through some sort of filter to see if you're worth their time. It's understandable, their time is valuable. But it can also be frustrating as a potential client.
Matt Pruitt didn't have this issue. He listened for the 4 - 5 minutes it took to explain the situation, and the asked some insightful questions. And when he noted to deadline I was working under, rearranged his schedule to make sure he could help me out.
I can't get into details on the matter, but I will say having him on my side of the table was more helpful than I anticipated. Not only did he protect our side, but he asked the kinda of questions to the other side that made them visibly uncomfortable. And that in the end is what settled the matter.
This whole thing was over in one meeting. The other side did a complete 180 and agreed to every term I was asking. And I know a large part of that was due to Matt's presence, insight and demeanor. He made it clear he means business, and it was felt.
So, if you're looking for someone who is competent, insightful, down to earth and can be intimidating, you should give him a call. I'll absolutely use him again if I need an attorney.

By time I found Steve Ari had already been through two different lawyers. It seemed as if every lawyer will tell you exactly what you wanted to hear and then after you gave them their retainer they instantly already stopped fighting for you. He is the most down to earth attorney I have ever and believe I will ever come across. I honestly can tell you he truly cares and he will fight for you. He stands his ground and knows his cases front and back. Be prepared if you see him on the street you’ll have no idea he’s even an attorney. As long as he is an attorney there is hope.

My Father passed unexpectedly and thought he had his estate taken care of because he paid for his funeral in advance and had assigned an administrator/power of attorney to handle his affairs. There's a reason Lee Drizin is so highly rated on Google, and it's because he is a really good attorney.
I'm a young woman, still in college, and when my mother passed unexpectedly and suddenly, I wasn't sure what to do to handle her estate and everything that comes after someone passes. I found Mr Drizin on Google, and it has been history ever since. Him and his team are constantly available to answer any questions one may have during the entire process, and he has steamlined the entire thing to be as painless and direct as possible. It is not easy at all, as there are so many accounts nowadays that people can have, but I was always directed to who exactly to contact and what to do.
My advise is twofold to anyone going through the probate process after the loss of a loved one: one, use Lee Drizin, and two, make sure to keep on top of all you have to do on your part to get paperwork and documents. These are the best ways to make it as painless as you can.
I also want to thank Mr Drizin and his team for also suggesting an accountant to help with the final tax documents, which also smoothed the process. With decades of experience, it clearly shows in everything Mr Drizin does to run his attorney's office. I cannot recommend him enough. I'm not sure how the other attorneys compare, but I can guarantee that he knows his stuff and gets it done here.

If I could leave zero stars, I would!
I hired Jennifer Isso to help me with my divorce. Worse decision I made!!! She came across as empathic, knowledgeable, understanding & caring. I thought I could trust her. This couldn't be further from the truth!
My health is really bad & I've never been divorced, so I needed her help & guidance through this process. I continued to pay her whatever she asked for, since she was considered an unbundled lawyer. Turns out she's one of the most unprofessional people I've ever met!!! Treat people how you want to be treated!! Period!! I paid her a total of $5100 which included a TPO.
I had been approving the Disclosure documentation on Oct. 29th with her for my second court date on Nov. 19th (today). Without any communication at all with me, she files in court on Monday (Oct. 30th) morning that she had dropped me as her lawyer!!! Who does that??!! Unbelievable!! This is how you treat a client??!! Really??!! How unprofessional is that!! Tuesday morning, she emails my husband informing him that she's dropped me!! This is when I found out what had happened. I was shocked & speechless!!! My first thought was this has to be a mistake. Right? No professional behaves in this manner!!
She had time to notify my husband & not me the client??!! Unacceptable on so many levels!!! Proper business practices is you let your CLIENT know. All she needed to do was to tell me she needed additional money to represent me in court. It's that simple!! It's called communication!! No one's a mind reader!!! I was paying for professional representation, so I assumed.
This morning was my court date with the judge. I paid Jennifer Isso $1000 for the Disclosures that I assumed was being submitted to the judge (she never told me otherwise & wasn't communicating with me). She only sent my husband a copy that was it!! The court received nothing. What goes around, comes around!!! I truly had trusted her & she proved to me that I should've never hired her!

Mr. Tanko was recommended to me, and I will be eternally grateful. Another attorney had written an 11th hour Will at my sister's deathbed, assigning me as Executor, that was weakly written and contradicted other legal instruments that were already in place. I travelled from my home in another state, fired the first attorney, and searched for someone who could untangle the mess of the estate that the poorly written Will had created. Mr. Tanko methodically began to untangle the challenges that the Will created. It required dealing with an estranged adult child in the East and me in the West, and selling a house, and setting up a Trust with the proceeds. Mr. Tanko and his team devoted more hours than I can count without excessive fees to "counsel" an estranged beneficiary, get a house sold, and get the proceeds into a Trust. He and his capable staff were always responsive, professional, and effective. I highly recommend this law office. The review below is from my partner. I was the handyman Laura Payne hired to do demo/construction on her home. It was an initial 3 day bid, which due to scope creep, turned into much more work, turning the full scope into 4-5 days work (all discussed and approved, though roughly understood on her part). On the beginning of the 3rd day, I arrived at her multimillion dollar estate in a gated community to find I had tools stolen out of her house by an electrician who came in without me there. Her response was to have her son and a strange man come into the closet while I was working, accuse me of lying about my tools and terminate her and my contract. It escalated verbally but I agreed to leave if I was paid for my time and supplies and got my tools. They then physically choked me on her front porch in broad daylight. The cops were called. And stories were gathered. Her, her son (who physically partook in and watched the battery), and the assailant Alfredo denied choking me or him even touching me at all.
Her house is heavily video monitored, so I told the cops to pull the footage. He said he only could if they offered. Which they fully “cooperated” with the cop. The Paynes showed the cop altered footage that included unaltered clips of me bringing thousands of dollars of tools out of the house, the verbal altercations with Alfredo and son, but conveniently was missing the first minute of the clip where Alfredo choked me on her porch and attempted to shove me down 2 flights of stairs.
Laura and her family/friends impeded and obstructed an investigation for battery on her personal property. I have zero legal recourse to have that crime investigated accurately now. They also put me in physical danger im a position where my egress, ability to defend myself or have an objective 3rd party were limited, if not completely unavailable.
The optics/hindsight on this is scary.
I have contacted the Nevada State Bar Association, her community HOA and intend on contacting the news. Laura paid me for supplies and the first 2 days but did not pay me for any of my time on the last day. She has since retroactively offered, but I told her I do not want her money. This is more than about money. This is about her ethics as a person and lawyer.
As someone who has had the unfortunate, traumatic experience of working with her, I can positively say that she lacks ethical integrity completely.
I did not deserve to be physically assaulted. There is no excuse for that.
Attached are pictures of the project and scratches on my neck and shoulders from Alfredo choking me (2 days post incident).
Though I was verbally defending myself, I did not physically touch anyone.
Personal context: I’m currently a handyman/ punch carpenter. But drywaller/painter by trade. 10 years experience in my field. I have 2 college degrees; graduated from Western Michigan University in 2017 with a double major in English and journalism, minor ad promo. I spent the first 10 years of my professional life working for non profits and juvenile detention centers; helping marginalized populations learn to express themselves in nonviolent, creative ways. I finished my stint in CMH/social services in 2019 as a house manager for 1 of 3 homeless shelters in SW Michigan.
That said, I have given back and given to the good in this world. I’ve been a community leader.

This “lawyer” hired my husband for a multi day demolition and construction project, which half way through after changing the scope of the job repeatedly, sent in her son and another man to threaten him to leave without payment. These actions were unprompted. Then her male friend proceeds to C H O K E him as he’s leaving her doorsteps which she asked him to do. there are scratches on his neck from this, police took pictures. These actions were on her ring camera footage, but this lawyer conveniently deleted the exact segment of the footage where her friend was assaulting him by the time the cops arrived. Wealthy Personal injury lawyer causing injury to poor working class folks. The man I love life was in danger because she was unhappy with a job she doesnt know how to do herself that she keeps requesting changes on.. I’ve never been so appalled by a person before, and I do not think she has a soul.

I actually met Michael by accident. I was a single father trying to get custody of his son after my girlfriend was advised by legal council to leave the state without consent. The way the laws were written, there are nearly no protections afforded single fathers. I was actually using a different lawyer, and due to a very biased judge, I was only allowed to see my son 9 days a month, and I was ordered to pay $693 a month Child support.
Michael worked very hard on our appeal to the state supreme court, and while we were not able to overturn the decision of the original judge (one who is no longer serving as a family judge in the state of Nevada), we were able to get legislation introduced to help cement the rights of unwed fathers in Nevada.
I see the people that gave him low reviews complained that he overcharged them. I can't speak for that, but I can tell you that he did all the work on my case, which would have been well in excess of $100k completely Pro Bono.
While he was unable to get help for me, I do not believe it was due to anything he did wrong, but due to an incorrect decision by the state Supreme Court of the State of Nevada.
