Ms. Winters helped us with our estate planning, a task that we had put off for too long. She was patient in explaining the process and helped us hone in and identify our various assets for distribution. I can't get enough of Heather. My spouse and I went through the whole estate planning shebang with Heather, who made the process completely painless. When a recent change in circumstances arose, we made some edits to our wills and yet again, it was so easy. And then it happened again. I paid him $2500 and never talked to him or met with him. As a matter of fact, he did not work on my case he handed it off to some lady and Iam not sure what her title was, I hired him. They took my money first then sent one email to the opposing attorney. They charged me $2500 to tell some lady thereasons why I need legal help basically.

Amy helped us after my mom passed navigating the state requirements to become an executor for her estate, do what is required for probate, and finally distribute her estate as per her wishes in her will. She is also going to be our estate lawyer after this dust has settled. She's wonderful, and has held our hands throughout the process, carefully answering questions and in this time when a loved one passes, offering her grace and empathy. What we recommend is that EVERYONE AT GLENAIRE meet with her right away, to make sure your estate is in order and your plans are exactly what you want - because she is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER FROM YOU. I *thought* my mother's plans were in order but learned they were not after she passed. Please make sure you work with Amy so this doesn't happen to you.

My wife and I set up a revocable family trust with Privette Legacy Planning.
We set up a consultation meeting with Amy. We felt that Amy had the expertise and great attitude to put together a trust for us. She exhibited a great amount of patience with us as she translated legal terms in our trust to plain English! We’re glad we finally moved ahead with her firm. We felt the price we paid for her services was fair.
Amy’s assistant, Sara, supported us during the entire process. Amy wanted to be sure our documents were set up properly and that our assets were named properly to the trust. This office even assisted us in filling out the paperwork to transfer most of our holdings to the trust. This is quite a process, so this help meant a lot to us. It was a pleasure working with this firm.

I had hired another lawyer, but replaced him as soon as I spoke with Mr. Little. James didn’t over promise, but gave me confidence he knew the anxiety this matter was causing, and the hope that he would have it dismissed entirely. He talked to me like a person, not a case file. Mr. Little did have the matter dismissed on the first court date, while I’m still waiting on the refund from the first lawyer.

I retained Tolin & Tolin for a speeding ticket I received after receiving a notice by mail informing me of their service. I spoke to Melinda by email and then by phone, paid $225, was assured I did not need to appear in court and was advised I would be contacted after the court date if there were further fees. A few weeks go by, and I received a notice that my license was being suspended due to failure to appear and I would need to pay several hundred dollars to prevent this from happening. After multiple phone calls and an email to the law firm with absolutely no response, I called the courthouse in my county. Thankfully, a very nice representative at the courthouse was able to communicate with the law firm and resolve the issue. My situation was handled completely unprofessionally. I still have not been contacted by Tolin & Tolin even for an apology. I understand things can slip through the cracks but as a professional myself, when you're dealing with someone's livelihood you need to be a bit more responsible. Or at the very least, return a phone call. I would not recommend using this firm at all.

I spoke with Steve on numerous occasions concerning a legal issue. He was able to collect my fragmented, loosely connected dates and facts, then strategize with me on a winning game plan.
I had a loose idea of what information I needed to present, but Steve helped me make it a powerful, cohesive narrative to present. He showed me which facts needed spotlighting and which were peripheral and supportive, at best.
God forbid you have to deal with the mess I had to but, if you do, you'd do well to choose Mr. Jackson. I was extremely glad Steve was there to walk me through the dark maze of legalese, explain the details in a way I could understand and connect with, then help me prepare a sound plan.

Last February my mother fell and broke her hip, and I quickly discovered that everything we thought had been settled with her money years ago wasn't. The hospital social worker was recommending that she file for Medicaid and I just felt like she was being pushed through the system. I did a search on Google to find Nathan and from the first phone call I knew that he had my mother's best interests at heart. He met with us and laid out a plan that would protect her house from being taken by Medicaid and was able to get us some money back for recent repairs we had made to the house. He also helped her apply for some additional money from the Veterans Department which has really helped her and eased our fears that she couldn't stay at home. It also lets me get paid for some of the work I do around the house to help her from time to time. I couldn't be happier with what he did for my mother and me. He was thorough and took the time to make sure we were fully taken care of.

Nathan was referred to us by our accountant to help my mother with applying for VA benefits and we couldn't have asked for more from an attorney. He was so nice and generous with his time, especially with my 94 year old mother who has dementia and has a hard time understanding anything. I really appreciate how he came out to meet with her since she has a hard time traveling. She was approved for benefits after three months and it has given everyone peace of mind over our ability to pay for her nursing home costs. Ive also used him to create my Will and was impressed with his knowledge and ability to educate my wife and I through the process. He doesn't talk over your head, and I've learned so much about what to do and what not to do as my wife and I enter into retirement. He's one of the good attorneys who looks out for people.

Be careful of pushy advice to do an emergency custody hearing based on Ann Margaret Alexander's opinions and high fee which she earns with every outcome. Be aware that these hearings are very quick and may be based on falsified documents with no time to make an actual case and she will push to settle and acquiesce under pressure and collude with the other attorney. She makes a lot of money on these quick hearings and doesn't do her clients justice. It's amazing how her opinions change drastically after the hearing- an abusive parent is no longer abusive just the alpha parent (after she collects her fees). Also, be aware that these emergency custody hearings, if there is unfavorable outcome, will ruin any changes of a permanent custody change in the future. Do your research and homework in these situations!

After dealing with a previous attorney who left us disappointed and everything only partially taken care of regarding my father's estate I found Danielle. Danielle reassured me that she would take care of finalizing things to close the estate.
Danielle is absolutely professional and knowledgeable; she communicates all the details and provides updates quickly and thoroughly. She explained everything that was happening and answered all our questions very clearly. She went back and finished things the previous attorney left incomplete and guided us through the decisions we needed to make.
It took Danielle a few short months to get things finished out even during covid-19 when it had taken the other person well over 8 months to do half of what Danielle did. I'm very impressed with her level of commitment to get everything finalized and closed out in a timely fashion.
