Kim has helped us with several projects. She facilitated a solution for a survey that had been wrong for over 30 years. She has also reviewed multiple real property purchases and helped with contracts along the way. She is quick and responsive to emails and phone calls. She is not the cheapest lawyer in her market but she does not behave like the cheapest lawyer in her market. Her work has been a good value in protecting my interests and I will use her in the future.

Mr. Harris is very personable, approachable and has a good relationship with the courts. This is a plus if you are dealing with sensible soon to be ex’es who want to move on and act like adults. But he is also a staunch, steadfast and passionate advocate when you are dealing with a case like mine.
He is a bull when confronting non-reasonable people. He is no push over. When the other side tried to use coercive tactics, Mr.Harris pushed back! There were periods where I would be in disbelief on how well this Lawyer carried himself !
He is the gentlest yet strongest person I've ever met. He was extremely passionate as he vigorously spoke up to the Court.
Mr. Harris later told me that they were trying to take advantage of me and that he was NOT going to allow that. I was touched.
That was confirmation that he truly cares about his client's and not just your check book.
If you are looking for someone who is looking out for your best interest and willing to actually listen to your needs and your worries during difficult situations, and get results , then this is the right attorney for you. He also provides you his contact information where he can be reached at all times unlike most attorneys who you’ll leave a voicemail for and never get a return phone call for sometimes one or two days which can be very frustrating. Like many other families, we were faced with decisions that we really didn’t think we would need to make… my Dad’s dementia was deepening and my Mom, his Caretaker, was beginning to rapidly fail herself.
It came to the point I knew my Dad needed more care than what my Mom was capable of providing. It needed to be done quickly and correctly. Frankly, I was worried my Mom would pass before my Dad.
My parents are retired school-teachers. That means they are not rich, but they do have income. It certainly means they do not have the money for Nursing Home care that my Dad needs, and for that matter, my Mom needed for him to have.
I knew that trying to do the paper work and application for Medicaid was far beyond my ability and know-how. I recognized at that point we needed an Attorney to handle this for us.
I looked for a nearby attorney and found Richard Shea. This was one of the best decisions made in this difficult junction of our lives.
Richard reviewed everything carefully…. He answered questions timely… He worked as a partner with our family.
We are so grateful we hired him…it turns out that one of the accounts my mom had saved money through her job, would have been at risk if we had made the application first. Richard identified the situation and made suggestions on how to restructure it, which we did. While the amounts would not seem large to most people with an IRA or Pension, it was huge for my mom, and meant a lot to her monthly income. This one detail, more than paid for Richard’s fee.
My Dad is in a great facility. My Mom is able to relax and reclaim part of her life because she doesn’t have the heavy burden of caring for my father any longer. She can sleep at night and not have to worry if my Dad was going to get out of bed and turn on the stove and burn the house down! (He actually came close one time.) She is actually getting healthier. During her last check-up, her doctor told her he was pleased with her resurgent health.
I cannot recommend Richard enough. He is well worth his fee since he will fill out the paperwork and handle the application process and deal with the questions from the Examiner. These are details that are nerve racking enough, let alone during a stressful time.
If you are faced with these decisions, I recommend you hire Richard to handle the details. You have enough stress as it is, let him handle the part you that you are not an expert in handling. You will feel a lot better that you did.

After a death, the last thing you want to do is worry about someone liquidating your fathers assets. This is what my sisters and I had to face a week after burying our dad. Due to him not having a will things where really complicated and his wife tried to take advantage of the situation. A family friend referred us to Bill and he has been a breath of fresh air throughout this entire process. Her attorney has been procrastinating the entire time and Bill has been on him like white on rice! Bill is very much to the point- no BS so if you want to be coddled then this one isn't for you. But, if you want the facts and someone that is going to give it to you straight while fighting for what's right then Bill is your guy. I highly recommend his team to anyone going through probate or a family settlement agreement. He's expensive but well worth the money I promise!

I wish I could rate her more than 5-star as rating just 5 star is not enough for a person who is so dedicated to a profession, so caring for those in distress and above all for those who have been burnt previously by a class of greedy, money-hungry , unprofessional attorneys.
She is a Christian and a true Christian attorney who would spare no efforts to fight for you, disregarding amount of compensation she would get in the process.
I was so lucky that my good Karma prevailed and brought me to her to help me .
If one can judge an attorney by knowledge, experience, care , I think she is by far the best I have ever met in my 30 years of interaction by attorneys.
She greeted me right at the door-step of the building and even helped me carry heavy boxes of documents. She is so consistent, thorough , knowledgeable that I was amazed .
She listened to me for hours and immediately offered help . I went in for a free consultation and it was more than just a consultation she was very considerate and compassionate and really wanted to help and gave a lot more than just a free consultation she should have been paid for all the time she spent with me but it was free, in the end the only reason I didn't hire her was I did not have the affordable start-up fee she needed but when I can afford her and if I ever need an attorney for anything I will come to her always now!

We consulted with Margaret in March 2019 to represent my sister for her divorce. From the moment we met Margaret, we knew we had the right person in our corner. Her knowledge and caring demeanor made a very ugly situation as painless as possible. During the entire process, Margaret kept us informed of what was going on and was readily available for any questions. She fought hard for my sister and the outcome was more than favorable.
In October of 2020, following the death of my sister's son-in-law and unforeseen and untimely death of her daughter to Covid-19, we had to retain Margaret's services to handle the adoption of my sister's grandson. I was referred to Tracy by a corporate attorney and I am writing in now to express my sincere thanks to Tracy for her outstanding lawyer services on my case. The State of Texas sent us a Texas Estate Recovery Program questionnaire to determine if the State of Texas had any claim against our Mom's property. I've never seen a lawyer maneuver through trial the way this guy does. I was going to hire him as an attorney and decided to sit in on a public trial he was arguing. Holy SHHHHH is this guy good. I never ended up hiring him because my charges were dropped but what I saw this man do in court should be made into a movie. The the Jury ate it up, the judge ate it up, and even the DA ate it up.

We were referred to this firm by our realtor. We were the victims of a scam artist here in San Antonio claiming to be a custom home builder. From the first phone call, we knew that Austin Navarro was a God send. He called us the Friday before Christmas and listened to and allowed us to vent while we told him our entire story. Austin never rushed us and allowed us to unload all the drama we had been going through with the "builder”. Austin was confident from the beginning that we were going to be ok. He never made promises that he didn't keep. Austin treated our case like we were family, he never gave up and he never stopped fighting for us. He was patient, professional and never acted as though we were a bother. When Austin arrived at our mediation, he came for battle. This builder has scammed a lot of innocent people in this area. He is notorious for trying to play the long game - he attempts to drag everything out until the victim runs out of money. That strategy didn't work with Austin. Austin stayed on him and his lawyer constantly. Austin was truly fighting for us the entire time. When we were stressed and ready to give up, Austin stayed positive and never failed us. Did I mention Austin was our 2nd lawyer, the first guy (another firm) just took our money and did nothing. That guy was basically manhandled by the builder’s lawyer. Austin on the other hand took our case very seriously from the first day. I have recommended Austin to all the other victims of the scam builder. (Hopefully Texas will eventually go after this guy criminally) but in the meantime- I am quite certain he never wants to hear the name Austin Navarro again. I would HIGHLY recommend Austin to anyone that needs a professional, strategic, thorough, caring and INCREDIBLE lawyer in their corner.

I cannot offer enough praise for the law firm of Richard P. Johnson and his associate Marcie Johnson. Upon the passing of my uncle in Dallas Texas, I had to travel from Columbus Ohio to the Dallas area and deal with a multitude of issues with regards to my uncle's estate. Everything from a ranch 65 miles northeast of Dallas in Commerce Texas, to his home in Dallas where I had to get a bio hazard team involved because of the conditions I encountered upon arriving in Dallas after learning that my uncle had passed. After a death, the last thing you want to do is worry about someone liquidating your fathers assets. This is what my sisters and I had to face a week after burying our dad. Due to him not having a will things where really complicated and his wife tried to take advantage of the situation. A family friend referred us to Bill and he has been a breath of fresh air throughout this entire process. Her attorney has been procrastinating the entire time and Bill has been on him like white on rice! Bill is very much to the point- no BS so if you want to be coddled then this one isn't for you. But, if you want the facts and someone that is going to give it to you straight while fighting for what's right then Bill is your guy. Kathleen Macaulay is a go getter. She does everything with enthusiasm and efficiency. Mrs. Macaulay has a great knowledge of the law which has helped lessen the stress during the different stages of processing my parent's estate. She was was able to stop the foreclosure on my parent's house and facilitate the return of the house to the full ownership of the family. She been involved with all aspects of processing and settling the estate, like helping getting tax returns completed for various tax years that my parents owed and helping to find a competent realtor to help sale my parent's house. I'm a sinlge mother and my son has severe disabilites that limit everyday life for a young child. I recently started tto get back on my feet when the unthinkable could ever happen to anyone that have children with any disability. My landlord was evicting me and my family for any reason he could come up with because he didn't want my son to destroy his property. It took everything I had to get in the house so my son could have an enviroment that he could be safe in.
