James Parker is the main individual responsible for my victory in my small claims case. Although he advised me to represent myself based on the amount I was seeking, he devoted time to preparing me to do so knowing he had nothing to gain in return. I was a nervous wreck and was having difficulty sleeping due to the stress of trying to navigate the intricacies of my case, school, and work. James reduced my anxiety by encouraging me to pursue my case although the defendant had obtained a lawyer, directing me to the correct legal codes to make my case, and helping me understand what was expected of me as a pro se litigant. I went into the courtroom equipped with the knowledge he shared with me and was able to participate in jury selection, make my opening statements, testify, successfully object to a question, cross examine, and close. James did not stop there. He took the initiative to follow up on my case and gave me a call to congratulate me on my victory. You may think that any lawyer could have helped me do all of this, but I’m a firm believer in the notion that you can judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him. For that reason, I wouldn’t want just any lawyer to help me I would want to work with James.

I am here to tell you that I was in a dire situation in which I was going to loose my contact on a newly build duplex because of a piss poor communication between lender and the builder. When I say loose my contract, I mean with in hours the builder was sending me a cancel contract order. My real estate agent was no help at all and I need an advocate straight away to assist me. I was referred to Mr. Parker and was lucky to get him on the phone the first call.
I told him my situation and he patiently and graciously gave me solution immediately; over the phone. Yes, you read that correctly, over the phone. Thanks to him I was able to save my home and let out a huge sigh of relief.

I recently used Rudy in a Probate matter associated with a highly contested divorce case. Rudy displayed a strong but compassionate approach to my situation and was instrumental in my retention of a Guardianship Role as well as facilitating/contributing significantly a final settlement in the divorce matter. I was recently referred to Rudy by another Houston lawyer to represent me in a will contest case because of his expertise in probate. I found him to be very professional, knowledgable and thorough. We settled the case in mediation, but I wouldn't have hesitated in taking the case to court had it not been for the amount of time and costs involved to do so. Mr. Bisbey is the antithesis of that and is genuinely kind and empathetic. Mr. Bisbey has proved himself over and over to myself and my husband as being the BEST ATTORNEY around - he is very trustworthy, reliable, decent and knowledgeable and this is hard to find. He cares about his clients and always looks out for them. You can trust him. Can't say that about many attorneys as was the case he just handle - a real estate transaction wherein we were the lien holders of a note and were supposed to have been paid at the time of the closing but this did not happen because the other attorney failed to collect our money and gave all the proceeds to his clients knowing that we had a first lien on the property. Well a week later Mr. Bisbey had our money. Thanks for being there for us.

My divorce case was fairly simple. It was just about the money. Bill returned calls quickly, during breaks at court, or mediation. Email turnaround was quick also, depending on the complexity of the information and documents to be reviewed and modified thus removing the necessity to meet in person to go over documents time and time again. This was a bonus for me!
I enjoyed working with Bill so much, I've hired him again for my probate case!

We dealt with Bill on a fairly simple, yet unfrequent issue: seller refused to release 15k in earnest money after cancellation of contract. The issue? Paperwork reached seller at 5:06pm instead of the 5:00pm deadline.
I sent Bill copies of all docs, set up chronologically by me. He interpolated with advice and found all possible contract loopholes. Then recommended that I, the buyer, write the seller pointing out the faults of the contract, and that they would likely end up having to release the funds, plus fork-out all additional costs - likely a few thousand each. Worked like a charm. As Tony Soprano would say: baddabim-baddaboom. His final bill wasn't exorbitant either. Def-rec!

Guys ... please don’t do this alone! I started out doing the friendly, no-lawyer divorce. We poked around on the internet, read the law and I was about to give the farm away.
I’m a relatively smart guy and able to figure most things out, but this ... way out of my league. I had a very simple divorce, no minor children, no real assets - only a house, nothing really to "fight" for. I surrendered all the furniture and was trying to be fair.
Bill was great, laid out the facts, applied his experience (don’t underestimate the need to find someone with experience), looked at the whole picture, and talked me off the ledge. I was giving too much.
We ended up going through mediation, Bill was calm and drama free, which seemed to irritated my ex-wife’s lawyer - bonus. Bill was rational and thoughtful with the mediator.
Bill listened when he needed too, asked only the questions he needed, and gave me some great advice. I know consider this an investment that has paid off. I was looking at years of support and contact with my ex-wife. After mediation, that was it. No support, no contact, life is good now.
I highly recommend you at least talking to Bill, see where you stand. Then decide, but you’ll do like I did and move forward with him.

After a death, the last thing you want to do is worry about someone liquidating your fathers assets. This is what my sisters and I had to face a week after burying our dad. Due to him not having a will things where really complicated and his wife tried to take advantage of the situation. A family friend referred us to Bill and he has been a breath of fresh air throughout this entire process. Her attorney has been procrastinating the entire time and Bill has been on him like white on rice! Bill is very much to the point- no BS so if you want to be coddled then this one isn't for you. But, if you want the facts and someone that is going to give it to you straight while fighting for what's right then Bill is your guy. I highly recommend his team to anyone going through probate or a family settlement agreement. He's expensive but well worth the money I promise!

Ten years ago when my charming Japanese mother was merely 75 and enjoying retirement, I would never imagined the family we are today. I doubt now the worthy of saving too much money your lifetime because doing so may be the dragon that eats you. Since, I’ve learned and witnessed and heard of through my associations with caregivers, this is all too common. Be careful what you wish for.
I cannot have chosen a better attorney for my guardianship case. I also can’t help but think Ryan Moe worked this case because he was sent out from heaven to me and Mom. He was supposed to and for good reason. The man is made from fine cloth and don’t judge him for his seriousness or his disappearing or his directness - he’s working it all out upstairs, metaphysically speaking - he’s got a natural clear intuit so keep things easy on yourself and answer the questions concisely. Ryan is remarkably intelligent and he imagines strategies and it’s fascinating to watch him dance with the pieces and “the bad guys”. Sorry! Had to. He’s my 2022 Super Hero!!!! Thank you Universe! When my father passed away and it was clear that there were going to be disputes with my sibling I started contacting lawyers. The first 3 lawyers I contacted all told me to go to the state and file with Adult Protective Services. I didn't feel this was the way to go. I got on the internet and started researching lawyers with Elder law experience and found Mr. Ryan Moe. I contacted his office and went to see him a few days later. I liked him immediately and knew he was very knowledgeable about Elder law. When I had my first consultation with him about my mom's diminished capacity he set up a doctor's appointment so my mother could be checked by a professional. She was indeed found to have diminished capacity that no one else in the family wanted to admit to. I also advised him that my sibling was taking all kinds of money and wanted to see if he could get it stopped. Throughout the whole process I knew Mr. Moe was the best lawyer for the job. He was laid back but aggressive when needed to be. He put me at ease right away and I knew he had my back at all times. I very much respect and would recommend Mr. Moe to anyone having problems with siblings and disputes. He was easy to talk to and listened and offered advice. If the need arises for more legal help I will definitely call Mr. Moe. Very easy to talk to and puts you at ease. He is a compassionate and caring individual.

John was knowledgeable, informative, and easy to work with while setting up my wife and I's living will and attorney of power forms. He was affirming and comfortable to work with as a same-sex couple setting up these documents to protect our family even prior to the SCOTUS ruling. He took the time needed to answer our questions and was prompt in putting the documents together once we had provided the necessary information. He was open to make the edits required and thorough in going through the final documents. We would work with him again if we had future legal needs.

Our case involve a home builder we hired to build our "dream house." He turned out to be a thief and completely incompetent. After more than a year of fighting with the
"builder" to fix the problems, we decided to try the legal route.
We had never had any experience with lawyers and were not even sure how to start the process. A friend recommended John and we got an appointment the same week. He was WONDERFUL. John walked us through the process, told us what to expect (including the frustrations to come) he was very meticulous, organized, and kept us informed every step of the way.
In the end he proved fraud, deceptive trade practices, and incompetence on the part of the builder. Our home was declared a complete loss and because of the fraud and deceptive trade practices,, we were awarded the full price of the house plus triple damages. The total amount of the judgement was 500,000 dollars.
I hope we will never need another attorney but if we do, John is the first guy we will call.
I recommend John to anyone in need of an attorney.

I've known John Gilliam for many years. He has advised me on Montana employment law, torts--- specifically on issues of libel and slander. Great - very straightforward with me about how things were going to work. He was a lil slow meeting me at the court house on some of my court dates...ok, really, really slow a few times...but i'm def not his only client, so I get that part. In the end, he was able to get several charges thrown out and got me on probation when I probably shouldn't have been. Overall very pleasant to work with & a pretty cool guy in general. Hired Mr. Wheeler to handle my divorce. It was a nasty divorce and a difficult one, but he got me a better deal than I ever imagined. While in the middle of the divorce, because I was a little messed up, I got a DWI. Mr. Wheeler worked with the DA to get me basically off while sternly instructing me that he wouldn't do this again and told me to get it together. I did and am turning my life around.

The minute I contacted Amy I knew I was in the best hands. I was a wreck, crying and she comforted me and reassured me that we are going to handle this. Mr. Stilwell understood the scope of what we tried to accomplish and what needed doing. He was extremely empathetic to our situation and went over and beyond our expectations. We initially chose to retain Ms. Minett for a case in probate court for our son. She did a great job and everything went smoothly. Because of this, we decided to have her draw up our wills for us. Kavita... a good lawyer? I think more, but you tell me. It's difficult when you have to count on a stranger at the worst moment in your life. It's a terrible feeling. Weather it be a death, possible loss of your freedom, some type of lawsuit. Having to instantly confide in and trust a stranger; whom additionally you are having to pay..... that can be tough to swallow and deal with.
I lost my mother and nothing seemed fair or right. Kavita made the probate process make sense. She wasn't doing a "job". She was helping a stranger get through the toughest point in their life with understanding, compassion, patience, explanations and knowledge of law. When I paid for a lawyer I paid for and expected someone to help me quickly and efficiently close out my mothers estate. I got that.... but i also got a shoulder to lean on for strength when I needed it most, a voice of reason that dumbed it down enough for me to understand when it didn't seem fair and I didn't get it, someone that put me back in my place when I got out of line because of my pain...
