Ms Susan Eleff is what you want in a lawyer: efficient, friendly & reasonable price. I was looking for an attorney to handle some estate work & was surprised by how many other lawyers wouldn’t reply to calls or emails, or farmed work out to other lawyers.

When a friend recommended Susan Eleff for a Will, POA and Advanced Directive, I was skeptical at first. But after our first meeting, Susan put me at ease, clearly explained the process and was patient when answering my questions. I chose this law firm (specifically Adam Moskowitz) based on a referral from my Financial Advisor at Charles Schwab. From my initial telephone conversation with Adam, I felt relaxed, very comfortable, and certain that I had made the right decision. I needed Adam and his team to put together a comprehensive Estate Plan for me...which would include my Will, a Revocable Trust Agreement, an Advance Medical Directive, and Power of Attorney. I also needed advice and guidance on a few other matters relating to my 'estate'. Once all of the documents were drawn up, I physically met with Adam and his team. Adam was extremely patient, listened to all of my concerns, and explained everything in 'basic' terms....taking as much time as I needed to review and understand the entire process and all of the legal documents that I was signing. He made me feel valued as a client. I left his office with the peace of mind that I needed. He definitely deserves 5+ Stars!!

Unfortunately my Mother passed away without having a Will or any of her Estate affairs in order. Prior to my mothers passing I had never handled an Estate before. I contacted a few attorneys but didn't feel they were the right fit for all of the complications pertaining to the Estate. Some attorney's weren't even willing to take it on. A neighbor of mine (who is an attorney) suggested that I contact Mr. Andre McDonald to handle my Mothers Estate. After our initial phone consultation, I knew immediately that he was the the right fit for all that needed to be accomplished. It was around the holidays. Mr. McDonald went above and beyond the typical duties that involve getting an Estate opened. He stayed involved and was on top of every aspect regarding the Estate throughout the entire process. He followed through with getting the Estate closed in a timely fashion. Mr. McDonald was very professional and knew exactly what to do and how to handle the Estate. He was always informative and reliable. Mr. McDonald always personally returned my phone calls and my emails in a timely manner. His staff was very pleasant and a joy to work with during a very hard time in my life. He kept me up to date on anything that needed to be done. He took the time to answer any questions or concerns that I had. Dealing with the loss of a loved one is a challenge within itself but Mr. McDonald put my mind at ease. I felt comfortable and confident knowing that he was the attorney handling my Mothers Estate during a very hard and difficult ordeal. My experience with the PA Davis Law Office has been excellent! Ms. Davis and her team provided invaluable assistance in updating a joint custody agreement while serving overseas in the military. Navigating the complexities of military service and updating a legal custody agreement could have been incredibly challenging, but Ms. Davis and her team handled it with expertise and professionalism. I had reached out to several attorneys, but due to the unique circumstances of my case and where i was stationed, they were unable to assist. I wish that I had enough writing space to express just how competent and skilled Brian Loffredo has been with respect to my legal matter. Brian came to me as a highly regarded referral and I first reached out to him in the midst of a very busy holiday week. Even with that being the case, Brian returned my call immediately. We've unfortunately been involved in 3 different lawsuits and had 3 different lawyers. Chris is BY FAR our favorite. Lawsuits inherently suck your money dry and it's hard to feel good about a lawsuit or your lawyer given whatever situation you are dealing with. Chris is incredibly hardworking and thorough. When we first contacted him, we needed a lawsuit filed very quickly as we were approaching an important date that would change the facts on the ground. Chris worked tirelessly to pull together our initial filing to protect our rights and reached out to relevant stakeholders for affidavits, making himself available for several last minute signatures. He also specifically took action to file the case or respond in certain ways given how Covid has changed the way that the courts are functioning in DC (e.g., e-filing vs. going to the court, etc.).
Our case was factually and legally complex and he worked for several months to negotiate with the opposing counsel and was extremely communicative with us throughout the process. Going to trial would have been costly and his ability to work with opposing counsel to come to an agreed upon resolution saved us a lot of money, and he was even able to negotiate some of the resolution costs be placed upon the defense, which saved us even more money (and energy!).
Lastly, his approach and his demeanor towards us was respectful and thoughtful and made us feel like we were in good hands through the whole process. We would enthusiastically recommend him to others.
