I went to Alfred Polizzotto Esq. for an estate matter involving litigation, 2 complex real estate transactions which involved a lot of money numbers that changed as bills were paid out on the real estate. The first day I went in to his office I felt comforted that the complex issues could be resolved with his calmness in handling and creating excel spread sheets to organize the 2 real estate transactions, private mortgage money, and bank accounts. He was extremely organized, great with computers, awesome in math, and extremely knowledgeable with the laws on all matters. He gave me a list of what documents to bring him. I had to Order 15 years of bank statements and checks. Once I gave him the copies. He put it all on to excel spread sheets. Then he called the estate attorney and told the attorney his demands for me. In the end everything Mr. Polizzotto asked for I received from the estate. Not one item did I lose because he knew how to litigate and apply real estate law and estate law to the facts at hand. I would not use any one else for law matters. He also worked Professionally with the opposing lawyer and the uncooperative executor. He’s a family oriented lawyer and treats such matters with delicacy and respect.

1. My wife and I are both over eighty. During the pandemic, instead of having us go to his office in Brooklyn, Mr. Polizzotto met with us close to our home on Long Island to discuss our case.
2. Mr. Polizzotto and his staff (Liz) always returned our email within twenty-four hours.
3. After we gathered all our original documents, we were not sure if we should mail to his office or hand deliver it. Mr. Polizzotto personally picked it up from our home, after a whole day's work and rush hour traffic in the dark!
4. When a clerical error was discovered in our application, Mr. Polizzotto redid the entire package himself!
5. Mr. Polizzotto always answered our questions with patience, clarity, reassurance, and in layman's terms so we could understand.
6. Mr. Polizzotto submitted our case on March 1st. It was approved by May 1st. Highly efficient!

He knows how to structure a plan to ensure that the many interests of the client are well represented. He created a plan that included a trust to conserve assets and maximize tax advantages, aid in Medicaid qualification, and ensure favorable transfer of estate assets. Mr. Polizotto did not need to check the law when I had a question; he knew the law.

Claudia is amazing! I hired Mr. Belgrave last year when other lawyers didn't want to take my case or their fee surpassed what I could pay. This case was from 2000 Real Estatate transaction and my original lawyer quit because I couldn't afford to maintain him. I spent thousands with no relief before meeting Mr Belgrave. I wasted a lot of time with lawyers playing a bait and switch game. They said we could settle for one amount and then said it would have to go to court , for an unknown cost.
Rueben helped me. He projected cost honestly. He didn't switch up to exact more money from the situation. Time is still money. He was efficient with his hours and helped me provide the information that was needed. He was able to back the corporation off and they rescinded there initial threat. This was all done without having to go to court. I would highly recommend Reuben to anyone needing help with residential legal matter.

I first met Reuben Fuller-Bennett when I went in to meet James Fishman after I received a notice that the lease for my rent stabilized apartment would not be renewed. Reuben was one of James’s associates who would be assisting on this matter. I knew I was in great hands with James, and I quickly realized I was in great hands with Reuben as well.
We had discussed what documentation I should provide to help my case, and immediately after our meeting Reuben sent me an email outlining each and every item we discussed, and of he offered ideas and suggestions as to how to obtain certain other documents. He stressed each and every item’s importance for my case. I could tell he was truly on my side professionally as well as personally.
I sent Reuben the documentation as I had it, and he provided me with updates as to what he had/what we were still waiting for. He was very organized and on top of everything.
Reuben responded to every question I had along the way, and he did so very quickly. He was very knowledgeable on cases like mine. He was very positive about my case, and when I was getting nervous he assured me that our case was strong and not to worry. He kept James copied on every e-mail exchange, and deferred to James to answer a question when he was not 100% sure on an answer.
Both James and Reuben kept me informed as to the progress of what was happening. James is the one who let me know that the landlord would be renewing my lease, and I could not have been more grateful and thankful for the work done by him and of course Reuben.
I am confident that anyone who works with Reuben will have the same positive experience as I had. I hope to never be in the situation I was in again, but if I am – I know I will be in great hands with Reuben. I highly recommend him.

I went to Ms. Latkovskaia to have my will done. I don't like or trust lawyers in general and have had bad experiences in the past. This experience was completely different. Our consultation was lengthy, friendly and informative. I had not committed to paying her anything but she treated me like I was a VALUED client, even though I had just met her that day. I ended up not only getting my will done but I brought in my wife and got her's too. And at a later time we had a trust creatived to protect our assets and our children's future. I still call Ms. Latkovskaia from time to time for advise. She has always been prompt, professional and someone who tells me the truth, NOT just what I want to hear. This man literally makes a living making clients sign a $500 non refundable contract. Kim's firm sat on my marriage documents for over 2 years and had zero intentions on ever completing it. The office excuse was that the attorney Kim's in charge was off in vacation. You will never get a call back from Kim's firm. Save your money and go elsewhere, there's a lot of lawyers with bad intentions and this man is one of them. Kim's attorney Lee called my husband just to say he was sorry and laugh his way through one final conversation with him. They need to revoke Kim and Lee's license and anybody else who behaves in such bad faith. Kim's firm takes advantage of desperate people needing legal advice and help. I lost both my medical and dental insurance waiting on a trusted attorney who had no intention of helping. Kim's firm hurt my me by blowing 2 years off our life, please don't let that be you. Basil is a great down to Earth professional which is highly uncommon in this world we live in today. He has a stress free personality to him and puts you at ease throughout his services by explaining to you "law for idiots". He makes it easy to understand.
