I hired Mr. Belgrave last year when other lawyers didn't want to take my case or their fee surpassed what I could pay. This case was from 2000 Real Estatate transaction and my original lawyer quit because I couldn't afford to maintain him. I spent thousands with no relief before meeting Mr Belgrave. I was in default in 2015 for not having a lawyer to respond. I was not sleeping at night. Mr Belgrave made me feel for the first time in 15 years that someone had my interest in mind. My experience with Reuben Fuller-Bennett and James Fishman has been extremely positive. They are pros to the nth degree. Although James successfully resolved a personal landlord-tenant matter for me and my wife a number of years ago, my recent commercial landlord-tenant case added Reuben to the team. i needed help with a residential lease. I was concerned that I might lose my apartment. I wasn't sure how I would fight corporate greed. I contacted a number of lawyers. I wasted a lot of time with lawyers playing a bait and switch game. They said we could settle for one amount and then said it would have to go to court , for an unknown cost.
Rueben helped me. He projected cost honestly. He didn't switch up to exact more money from the situation. Time is still money. He was efficient with his hours and helped me provide the information that was needed. He was able to back the corporation off and they rescinded there initial threat. This was all done without having to go to court. I would highly recommend Reuben to anyone needing help with residential legal matter.

I first met Reuben Fuller-Bennett when I went in to meet James Fishman after I received a notice that the lease for my rent stabilized apartment would not be renewed. Reuben was one of James’s associates who would be assisting on this matter. I knew I was in great hands with James, and I quickly realized I was in great hands with Reuben as well.
We had discussed what documentation I should provide to help my case, and immediately after our meeting Reuben sent me an email outlining each and every item we discussed, and of he offered ideas and suggestions as to how to obtain certain other documents. He stressed each and every item’s importance for my case. I could tell he was truly on my side professionally as well as personally.
I sent Reuben the documentation as I had it, and he provided me with updates as to what he had/what we were still waiting for. He was very organized and on top of everything.
Reuben responded to every question I had along the way, and he did so very quickly. He was very knowledgeable on cases like mine. He was very positive about my case, and when I was getting nervous he assured me that our case was strong and not to worry. He kept James copied on every e-mail exchange, and deferred to James to answer a question when he was not 100% sure on an answer.
Both James and Reuben kept me informed as to the progress of what was happening. James is the one who let me know that the landlord would be renewing my lease, and I could not have been more grateful and thankful for the work done by him and of course Reuben.
I am confident that anyone who works with Reuben will have the same positive experience as I had. I hope to never be in the situation I was in again, but if I am – I know I will be in great hands with Reuben. I highly recommend him.

I went to Ms. Latkovskaia to have my will done. I don't like or trust lawyers in general and have had bad experiences in the past. This experience was completely different. Our consultation was lengthy, friendly and informative. I had not committed to paying her anything but she treated me like I was a VALUED client, even though I had just met her that day. I ended up not only getting my will done but I brought in my wife and got her's too. And at a later time we had a trust creatived to protect our assets and our children's future. I still call Ms. Latkovskaia from time to time for advise. She has always been prompt, professional and someone who tells me the truth, NOT just what I want to hear. Basil is a great down to Earth professional which is highly uncommon in this world we live in today. He has a stress free personality to him and puts you at ease throughout his services by explaining to you "law for idiots". He makes it easy to understand. I am very pleased with my experience. I broke my ankle, which required surgery, in a restaurant after the owners placed a "ramp" (aka - a rug & plank of wood) over a very small step in-between two rooms. Long story short: I slipped and fell. The restaurant owners were very hostile, blamed me, and refused to even consider paying for my surgery. I first called two other law offices and got frustrated because I was asked to go back (with a broken ankle) and take pictures of the step so the lawyer can THEN determine if they will take my case. I only spoke with assistants and at no point in time did the attorneys call me to discuss what options I have. But it was a completely different experience when I called Katherine's office. Within 2 days, Katherine called me back herself (not her assistant) and told me she went and took pictures and video of the step that caused my fall. After I hired Katherine, I was pleased with our level of communication because she explained what would happen over the next few weeks, all which came true. Katherine told me the restauarnt will keep ignoring me until we file a motion to sue and survive their motion to dismiss. She then explained that I do not have to accept what is offered if it does not reflect what I deserve for my pain and suffering, (in addition to my loss of wages). Ultimately, the restaurant that offered me nothing in the beginning made a very attractive settlement offer, which I happily accepted. Katherine and her team were wonderful to work with and I would recommend them to anyone.

To make things short, two years ago I fell on property which belonged to the city. The side walks weren't cleared from the snow. Nine months have passed since I was able to return to work, physical therapy, hospital visit, healing pelvic fracture etc.. After multiple attempts with attorneys, no results from the court. After dealing with attorney Katherine Ladyzhensky, she was able to obtain the money to help pay the bills and also compensate my time loss at work. Chad (and his team, Nick Wooldridge) were amazing!! They helped w/very serious immigration deportation case on AF charges while detained (not drug related). We spoke with dozens of immigration and criminal lawyers and they ALL said forget it, AF charges are too limiting, detention will not release so get ready for deportation. But we found Bukh Law Firm online and just happened to give them a call - they told us to come in so we did. Nothing to lose at that point! Nick welcomed us and gave us his pov that we might have a chance to fight. Anyhow, after several grim/harsh hearings at Varick St, Chad calls us right before the hearing we knew wld be the deport order, and told us inmate would be released!!!!! Happened within 24 hours and we are still in disbelief. Up until Chad and Nick came into the picture, we were told by every other lawyr this whole fight would be a lost battle. We were told over and over again we wld have no shot. We persisted anyway and while Chad and Nick told us this wld be extremely difficult, they can only promise they would try their best...but to prepare for the worst. So at the hearing (shortly after detention release) we learned the case was terminated!!!!! Amazing feeling - we are so grateful for this. We struggled and fought hard, objecting to other lawyers' arguments when they said they wouldn't take the case because there was no winning, but we knew deep down there was a way. And the way was Chad and Nick at Bukh!!! Thank you Chad Kaser and Nick Wooldridge!!!
Important to note that working with Chad was a genuine pleasure - he was pleasant, honest with no fluff, understanding, vigilant, knowledgable, PROACTIVE and RESPONSIVE!! They are very expensive but at the end, so glad we made that phone call. Even when things looked really bad, he handled us and the case with care.

I had a difficult transaction and Mr. Camuso was excellent. The mortgage broker that recommended me to Mr. Camuso became problematic and I was concerned that Mr. Camuso would look the other way because of the referrals he received from the broker but he didn't. He handled it very professionally. There were many delays and my partner who was not involved in the day to day activities thought they were caused by Mr. Camuso and wanted me to switch attorneys. I said they were not caused by him. When my partner went to the closing, he called me and told me he was so wrong about Mr. Camuso. He said that he was so impressed by Mr. Camuso's handling of the transaction and he attributed it went smoothly because of him. He was not impressed with the other attorney at all, nor anyone else in the meeting. I have worked with lawyers for many years and was very pleased with him. I also was out of state. I called him for advice re real estate and found his advice to be very sound. I recommend him highly.
