Kathryn helped administer my mom's estate with the utmost professionalism, patience, and warmth. After my mom died last year, I had no idea what to do about her estate, of which I was a trustee. I went to the large law firm which originally drew up her trust, only to find that they were going to charge me a criminal amount for a processing this relatively straightforward trust. After starting work with them, I realized I had to switch, which was painful because I didn't want this to be more complicated than it needed to be. Kathryn was recommended to me by a friend, and not only did she complete the work much more efficiently for a reasonable fee, but she took the time to explain different aspects of the estate which confused me, and recommended certain decisions, whereas the big law firm and the banks I was dealing with did no such thing. None of them could answer questions like "What do people normally do with an inherited IRA?" whereas Kathryn could. Highly recommended!

Jonathan Bowne came through – after contacting numerous attorneys he was among the few that responded to our representation request – most said they did not do contract litigation but Jonathan did and indeed he did – he responded immediately and after our initial phone conversation (by the way we never did actually meet in person) he laid out a excellent strategy – being an “old school” type of individual that was quite unusual for me to continue with someone “sight unseen” !
No matter since within days he was able to settle out of court for us with only the agreed upon original invoice as our only and final payment – the litigant tried to sue for work not performed (which was only one reason not to continue with him) – the only monies really out were the attorney fees and legal filings - no one wants that but we had to defend ourselves or lose much more – even though this case should never had happen in the first place we were so glad to have it behind us – in other words “WE WON”!

My family hired Mr. Tardiff to help with a real estate dispute regarding my grandmother's property. Mr. Tardiff offered us several options of ways to proceed, but recommended starting by writing the other homeowners a letter in order to avoid filing a costly lawsuit. We appreciated this approach as it ultimately helped resolve the issue without a lot of stress and headache (and unnecessary expense) for my grandmother. I met Dennis at his office in Pasadena because my lender was going to foreclose on my home. I had no where else to turn and I was desperate. What impressed me was that he had a huge team at his office that listened to me, and they knew exactly what my bank was doing and reassured me that they've done this before. They outlined a strategy and I felt relieved. I really felt that I had a team behind me. Anyways, the result was that they found some bank errors which effectively blocked the foreclosure, and it forced them back to the bargaining table. We are negotiating a new loan and it's so much better then what I could of ever hoped for.

Attorney Ibrahim assessed my case with the California State Bar effectively and efficiently, and then provided a strategy that included instruction, education, forms, preparation and presentation of the required forms and reports that specifically addressed the inquiry and concerns of the State Bar investigators. The outcome of the investigation in my case was unusually successful given the possible scenarios attorney Ibrahim indicated were possible because of strict adherence to trust account procedures insisted upon by the State Bar and Ethics rules. With attorney Ibrahim's assistance, I was able to prepare a response that addressed every possible interpretation of the evidence and state bar rules regarding the proper operation of an attorney's trust account. Without his assistance and experience as a former State Bar attorney, I am convinced that I would not have been able to comply as thoroughly and professionally within the time frame given, nor as likely to receive the unusually favorable result and decision rendered by the Investigators in my case.

Mr. Meisenhelder has been representing me for years. I'm running a multiple business that requires the legal counsel from time to time. Including reviewing our contracts, insurance policies and other business needs. We have them on a retainer and call or email away.
Mr. Meisenhelder and his team is always able to understand my unique requirement for a contracts that I need to create. They are able to reduce my risk and liability by identifying unforeseen events that could occur in the future.

Due to the embarrassing circumstances, I was reluctant to publish anything having to do with this incident. Most of my friends and family aren't aware that this happened to me (until now, ;-/ ) because I've always been the "example" pillar of the community, professional, law abiding citizen, etc. On the other hand, I'm human, and prone to making decisions that aren't always the best.
I'm sharing this review for two reasons. 1. Josh and Amanda are worth their weight in gold. They were both attentive to my questions and understanding of my circumstances. 2. I hope to relay to whoever is reading this, that "yes, it can happen to anyone." I'd imagine, if you're reading this, then you're already in a position where you need Josh's help. Hopefully, you and everyone that was with you is okay. In regards to getting through the rest from here, Josh and Amanda are the right decision at this point.
I've gone my whole life without issue or incident. I'm not a hard partier, I'm a family man, and always discourage others from "drinking and driving." I thought I knew where my "threshold" was. I'm a pretty good size guy at 6' and 220lbs. I can have a couple glasses of wine at dinner and not be "inebriated." WRONG. That's what happened. I was at a friend's house for a holiday and had champagne with dinner. No tequila shots. No pre-gaming. I drank water and had a hearty dinner. Don't count on any of that. I wasn't even swerving "all over the road" or obviously erratic. Ironically, I was most definitely driving while distracted with my phone and playing music, finding songs, etc. THAT was enough to move me enough within the lane to cause the CHP behind me to stop and ask questions. That's it. That's all it took for me to have a need to call Josh.
Josh was recommended by a friend of a friend who knew him personally. Could I have gone through the process on my own? Probably. Would I have gotten the same results? Absolutely not. I had too many concerns that I wasn't going to risk any more on my own. I have a couple commercial licenses that were at risk. I couldn't afford to put my livelihood on the line because I felt "the system" was unfair and I could beat it with my super intelligence and ego.
I had to make some tough decisions. Attorneys are not inexpensive. I had to ask if I could afford it. Ultimately, the answer was always, "I can't afford to NOT hire Josh." You're in a bind. It's going to be expensive. Expect it. But, DON'T fool yourself into thinking you're going to save money by going it alone.
I bit the bullet and sent Amanda and Josh everything they asked for. Then sat down with him so he could explain what the most reasonable outcome I could hope for. He talked about best case scenario, worst case scenario, probable scenario, and made no promises to any of them. That needs to be key to your understanding when you hire ANYONE though. Every circumstance is different. Yours is different than mine. Given my circumstances, I can attest that Josh was able to achieve the best possible outcome to save all of my licenses. Could we have contested the case and gone to trial? Sure. We might have even gotten a better outcome. Josh would have gone to bat and I have every confidence he would have prevailed. But, ultimately, Josh secured a great outcome without the additional delay and expense, and risk. I'm confident in that. I'm also confident that I'm making the right decision to recommend him to you, despite my public embarrassment. Best of luck to you! Stay safe.

The most stress relieving thing I ever did was hire Joshua Price after I got pulled over for a DUI. Not knowing much about the process of what happens after getting a DUI, he was able to guide me through everything and make it seem like a breeze. Josh was super accessible, from taking phone calls out of office hours to emails throughout the day, I knew that he truly cared about my case.
