As a lawyer, I found Maikel N Eskander was extremely unprofessional and shady. When I consulted him in the beginning, he said that my case has potential and can be successful in the court. He started giving me a price list of before and after raising the case. When I asked in the market, everyone said that the compensation fees for this type of cases are upon contingency. When I followed up with this information, he flipped his legal advice by saying the case is week and won't have a chance at the court. He even started accusing me of pursuing " Worldly" vanity and instead of a legal consultation he started giving religious advices and consultations. I tried to follow up with couple of emails , he never answered. Be cautious when dealing with him .

This is first time that I had experience with my only one ( and last one )car accident….
After 3 days my friend asked me who’s my car accident Lawyer, I said no one , how ??? He didn’t believe it !!
He recommended to me Blakeley Law Firm, because some of his friends used it and they’re very happy with it.
We called the firm’s and started the case , then Mr. Carlos contacted me the very next day representing the Law Firm through the case processing, it was my big confusion as never been accident or know what to do or where to start… specially I’m over 70 years old , He was very passionate about my age and my health like a family person during doing his job in very professional styling, and very organized doing things with me and for me between scheduling appointments or change dates for it, all the small details need a lot of attentions
He walked with me more than 3 or more months journeys with a smiling and polite friendly conversation as a great human being.
Finally everything come to end, and it was Happy ending because Mr. Carlos did a great job not only with me ….

I had medical and emotional issues that had been brought on by the devastating housing market collapse. Our whole world was crashing down all around us. Everywhere we turned, there was more trouble rearing its ugly head. We ended up having two homes foreclosed, medical and regular bills were piling up and my family of 4 was literally homeless! Our wonderful neighbor opened her home to us and was truly our angel in our time of tribulation. We were experiencing very serious and life changing issues which none of the things were of our own doing. Todd Lewis was referred to us by a family friend. We didn’t know what to do or whom to ask to know what to do! It was a very scary and humbling time, the darkest days I have ever experienced. But Todd was a breath of fresh air. He educated and encouraged us and helped us to remember that bad things do happen to good people. His direct approached helped us tremendously to stay focused and not dwell on the negativity of the circumstance but to look forward, take one day at a time and focus of “fixing” our situation to move forward in a positive manner.

I recently built a house in northern VA and I had a problem where a utility pole was in the front middle of my property that had three big utility companies wires on it (1 electric, 2 coax and 4 fiber cables). The pole was pretty much an eyesore. I tried to work with the utility companies for 2 years to get them to remove it since they didn't have an easement but that did not go anywhere until I retained Mr. Todd Lewis to represent me. Thanks to Todd, all three utility company were gone off the pole and the pole was removed. The cost to get that done was less than 15% of what I would have to pay only one company to remove it. He did all this without having to go to court. Thank you Todd.
PS. I used to think that many lawyers just want to take your money until I worked with Todd. I am a true that lawyer like Todd will get your more for your buck, Todd proved it. Also, let's face it, not everyone can be a lawyer. Not only does Todd know the case laws, he also has the negotiations and mitigation skills that was required for my complicated case.
This review does not really do Todd justice. What he did and the pressure he put on those companies was phenomenal and saved me a lot of money.

Personally I had bad experience with this firm , initially I contacted the is firm because we need to resolve an issue with something we purchased and we got scammed for more than 5k with a company in Miami , this firm ask for every detail in this case and they took it but after 3 months I was trying to contact them and the person in charge of my case was no longer available and they didn’t tell us anything like an update or anything so I had to call Them and also write many messages via Instagram and after 3 weeks they finally responded just saying that they not gonna take my case without mentioning anything
Terrible customer service and I believe the lawyers or attorneys working there are really amateur and with zero professionalism

This is first time that I had experience with my only one ( and last one )car accident….
After 3 days my friend asked me who’s my car accident Lawyer, I said no one , how ??? He didn’t believe it !!
He recommended to me Blakeley Law Firm, because some of his friends used it and they’re very happy with it.
We called the firm’s and started the case , then Mr. Carlos contacted me the very next day representing the Law Firm through the case processing, it was my big confusion as never been accident or know what to do or where to start… specially I’m over 70 years old , He was very passionate about my age and my health like a family person during doing his job in very professional styling, and very organized doing things with me and for me between scheduling appointments or change dates for it, all the small details need a lot of attentions
He walked with me more than 3 or more months journeys with a smiling and polite friendly conversation as a great human being.
Finally everything come to end, and it was Happy ending because Mr. Carlos did a great job not only with me ….
BUT….

I did get a response but he lost his paralegal and while he may be a good attorney.
, he couldn’t manage our case or respond until after SS advised us our attorney never responded to his disability case. We were caught without an attorney to represent my disabled son which turned things horribly bad for him.

I was recommended to attorney Blacke from another probate attorney due to limited funds. My father's estate valued at about one million was obsconded from me by my sibling. My story was featured in all the local papers and all local news stations. After leaving all documents at his office, he reviewed them over a few days and stated he would take my case on a contingency basis. My sibling was arrested on May 27th 2015. The state of FL is prosecuting her. I will appear for the first time in the that criminal case in about a year and a half, Sept 8th, 2017 where I am hopeful we will get a date for trial. I last spoke with Attorney Blacke on Thurs. July 20th when he stated he was taking an extended weekend and would get back to me on Tues.(July 25th). I waited, did not hear back from him so I called his office on Wed., the 26th and again on Thurs. The 27th. I had yet to receive a returned phone call so on Fri. July 28th, I emailed him at 1:37pm. I never received a response as of the time I am posting this review (July 29th 9:43pm)
I completely understand if he and his partner, had a change of heart but honestly I believe this is a very poor standard of practice and extremely unethical.
