We had to sell two homes to purchase another in a period of a month. It seemed almost impossible to accomplish. Nick was able to make it happen. He was able to coordinate between the lenders, buyers, sellers, villages and title companies to make it seamless. He kept us informed almost daily of the issues and what he was doing to resolve them. We were amazed the he was able to make this all happen in less than 30. days. We will be using him for our estate planning in the near future.

Gayle represented me during my first home purchase. There was a lot I did not know going into such a major transaction. Gale made it a simple and seamless process. Gayle represented me diligently from offer to closing, and did so with a sense of humor. Whenever I was unsure of how something worked she was happy to take the time to explain it to me. Even when the lender made a mistake and closing had to be pushed back, she assured me this was not a fatal blow and nothing we could not handle. Buying your first house is stressful. I highly recommend Melinda, who represented me for the sale of my condo in Hyde Park, Chicago. I live abroad, and thus I needed to find an attorney who could help me close a sale from out-of-country, and whom I could trust. From the first phone conversation, I could tell that Melinda is very experienced and familiar with Illinois real estate law. But what was the most pleasant finding was the fact that once a contact is signed, she is fast to follow-up, goes above and beyond when complications arise, and they did. Even though the first attempt to sell my condo failed, Melinda, who I am sure spent far more hours of follow-up than is normally required, continued to be patient and supportive until I was finally able to secure a deal that eventually closed. Since I live abroad, everything had to be correctly and prepared in advance for the closing. I am so glad that I found Melinda, whom I trusted fully, and she did not disappoint.

Melinda was absolutely incredible to work with. My fiancé and I are first time home buyers that received a referral to Melinda from Lisa Gentile (of Cathy Bier real estate - Lisa was another phenomenal professional). From the first phone call to Melinda I knew we were in good hands. She was very calm and took the time to explain the complicated legal and real estate jargon. She was very accessible and made us feel like her top priority, even though I'm sure she had plenty of other things to do and people to work with. Throughout the whole process, Melinda calmed my nerves and assured me that she was doing everything possible to make sure our deal went through. We closed on our house the other day and have had time to reflect on our home buying experience. I have worked with lawyers my entire career yielding mixed experiences and opinions. Recently we decided to sell our house in the Chicago area and Melinda Brom was recommended to us as a real estate attorney. Our first offer, well over listed price, on our house fell through ( due to a buyers personal issue ) a month after the signed contract. Melinda quickly secured the earnest money for us, which was a well-received alternative to the sale. We had to restart the entire sale process, a grim feeling at best. The 2nd signed contract involved numerous different buyer requests, so I requested a personal meeting with Melinda. She immediately scheduled a ½ hour meeting for us. That meeting ended up exceeding 2 hours with all my questions and concerns completely addressed to my satisfaction. We were clearly on the same page and more importantly assured our interests were Melinda’s priorities.
The bottom line is this: Good people are hard to find. We all know they are the very foundation of successful operations. Every once in a while a rare and talented person comes along at which someone like you should take a good, hard look. Melinda Brom is that individual. Her professionalism, attention to detail, effective communication skills, creativity, prompt follow-up and organization skills coupled with her legal expertise, allow her to keep things simple and uncomplicated. She is most respected and I highly recommend her.

Tim handled my real estate closing for my Wauconda property after I had already moved to Florida. I could not have been more pleased with how he handled things. If you want an attorney that actually knows how to communicate, be sure to hire Alex Ranjha. I have dealt with many attorneys over the years and none of them were as attentive, honest, easy to talk to, and responsive as Alex. Ranjha Law Group is located in Oak Brook (just across from the mall), but they actually cover Chicago and the suburbs including Cook and DuPage county and I'm pretty sure other counties as well.
I recently sold my house and Alex represented me for a flat fee. There were no hidden costs and no additional fees for every time I would call him to ask a question. It was very comforting to know that I could call and ask him a question and not be additionally charged for it.
From what I have seen from friends and family, real estate closings can be quite the headache. Not only did Alex make sure everything went smoothly, he actually foresaw a few potential problems that allowed us to act accordingly. Alex focused on MY best interest; NOT whatever gets the deal done the quickest. I would not hesitate to hire Alex again, and in fact referred him to a friend who is filing bankruptcy (Alex practices bankruptcy law as well).
Bottom line: you're in great hands with Alex!

I usually don’t write reviews for people, but I had to in this circumstance. Eryk basically saved me from huge consequences and from the inability to make a livelihood for my family. I made a lot of mistakes and ended up picking up multiple driving under the influence cases where my drivers license was suspended for a long time. Eryk successfully fought these cases and allowed me to get my drivers license back so I can continue driving professionally and supporting my family. He was great, patient and well worth the money. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in trouble and anyone who is facing stiff consequences for mistakes that they made, like I did. I hope to never have to need him again but I owe him a great debt of gratitude.

I hired Attorney Megan Raymond for a number of business related start-up activities which needed to be completed ASAP in order for a significant business transaction to occur in a timely manner. I have worked with Lisa for 3 years now. I first hired her to work on a sewer/water connection and fee issue. I knew she had a lot of experience in this area because of her previous work with local municipalities and regional sanitary districts. Due to medical bills and other problems we found ourselves in serious and extremely stressful circumstances. We sought out McHenry County Credit Counselors and after working with them we went to Mr. Bentley. I'm glad we did as he was very patient, calm, and understanding. He thoroughly went over all our information and what our options were as well as his exact costs and process. Let me add that one of the things that drew me to him in my research was how wonderfully family friendly his office is, from a popcorn machine to candy, and in a quiet part of the office building.
As we went through the process, filled out the papers, attended the meeting, he was with us every step of the way and explained everything in easy and clear language. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Oh, and his assistant Suzanne is just wonderful as well for handling all the questions and papers we passed through her.

Ira was amazing throughout the whole process. He was incredibly accessible any time we had a question or needed advice. An issue came up during the walk through on the day before closing, which happened to be a holiday weekend, and Ira went above and beyond, putting in great effort to address the issue as efficiently as possible. I've know Daniel since college and when I began my search for my first home I knew who to call based on my previous interactions with him when we were students. I received a DUI this year and am very grateful to have found Attorney Jeffrey Fagan and his team, as they helped make this experience as bearable and comfortable as I believe a terrible experience like this could have been. I was guided step-by-step through every part of the court process and given thorough answers to all of my questions. Jeffrey Fagan and his team were compassionate, understanding, always readily available and extremely helpful to me throughout my whole case. In the end I was assigned 10 hours of alcohol education classes and a victim impact panel to go to, with a license suspension of 6 months. Most importantly: being that this was my first offense and I blew relatively low (.09), I was given court supervision as a opposed to a conviction, which would have most likely meant the end of my career. All of my concerns were directly addressed and dealt with. I couldn't imagine a better outcome to my case (as I took the breathalyzer, admitted to the officer that I had drank, and did poorly on the field sobriety test) and I most certainly owe it to the guidance and assistance of Jeffrey Fagan and his team at Fagan, Fagan and Davis.
