Richard Iglar (partner at Skoloff & Wolfe) recently represented me in a 12-month divorce case in north central New Jersey that centered on the equitable distribution of a substantial marital estate. Rick's performance was superlative and I strongly endorse him.
Rick topped my initial shortlist of highly qualified candidates. The preparation of the shortlist considered depth divorce experience, quality of professional training, and relevant credentials including certifications. Since my case had the potential to be financially complicated, selecting an attorney with the financial acumen to advocate my position was of paramount importance. An interview solidified my decision to hire Rick as my attorney.
Rick explained the divorce process and realistically set my expectations. He and his support staff readily absorbed the substantial financial details of the case and together we agreed on a scenario that would represent a fair and practical distribution of assets. Despite a potential straightforward path to resolution of the case, the adverse party pressed for unreasonable demands and pursued a range of malicious acts intended to punish me. To my benefit, Rick artfully countered the other side's absurd positions, nefarious acts, and delay tactics. With this effort the case was fairly settled without a costly and lengthy trial.
Throughout the process I felt that Rick was a powerful advocate for my interests. He was excellent at understanding my concerns and staying focused on the most important financial considerations. David outshines every attorney! As someone who has been through family law hell and a custody nightmare, trusting an attorney is a challenge. David understands DV, coercive control, post separation abuse and a litigant weaponizing the legal system to hurt and destroy their ex. Above all, he understands the needs of the child and cares about the children. I believe he has young kids himself so perhaps it’s why he is able to quickly and immediately identify when an abuser is just going above and beyond to hurt the other party, but in reality hurting their child. While they say to leave emotions out of everything, David certainly fights for the best interest of your children as if they are his own. I searched high and low for someone that understands nonphysical DV like David does and I can’t be more fortunate to have him advocating on behalf of my children and me. His entire office is exceptional, caring and compassionate. I have not personally worked with Stephanie Palo but I also hear she is knowledgeable and exceptional. It gives me that extra confidence in the event she ever needs to step in if David is away or unavailable. If you want a kind, strong, knowledgeable, and sensitive attorney who will fight for you and most importantly, your children…I highly recommend David Cardamone!

I like to take a moment out to speak on the Law office of Peter j. Lamont. We reached out to his office from Maryland to sell a home located in Newark New Jersey.
The first line of duty person that we was put in contact with was a (Jacqueline) Gorges; she is the Senior Paralegal at the law office's.
This lady "Jacqueline" spent the needed time with us explaining each and every question we had in detail "prior" to we settling on selecting a law office to represent us.
This business gesture was not only huge to us but it made our selection a no brainer.
The time spent to find a law office had now come to an end thankfully...
The fact is; If a law office could choose to spend valuable time to answer questions; (in detail) without any commitment's from us...

My wife made a few calls looking for the services of a local attorney to handle the sale of our house and the closing on our new home. My wife asked Jacqueline several questions. We had ups and downs in a long process of selling and buying. And trying to line up both closings on the same day hours apart. There were days my wife and I wanted to pull our hair out. I got injured at my job in April 2022, after which my employer started treating me unfairly-- the employer didn't even allow me to see an actual doctor until almost a year after the injury occurred. I was misdiagnosed by their urgent care reps and by a therapist who told me I was basically faking the injury and gave me physical therapy exercises that caused me more pain.
I reached out to a number of lawyers who dismissed me, until I came across Mr. Kendall Medway. From the day I walked into his office he reassured me that he would do all that he could to help me. As far as I am aware, he did just that. Mr. Medway led me through the workers compensation process, which took nearly two years. We reached a settlement in February 2024. I am satisfied with the outcome and that I chose Levinson Axelrod for my workers compensation claim.
