Ive had a bad experiences in the past so i came to Mr. Rich on gaurd. So far hes been awesome. From what i can tell he really heard what i was saying then built a defense based on what I wanted. Absolutely amazing, A+! Peter Carini is the first and only attorney I've ever contacted who actually answered his own phone - immediately, on a Sunday. As a paralegal, I can't even begin to tell you how rare that is! I was fully expecting to reach his office voicemail and maybe (probably never) get a call back from his receptionist to schedule a paid consultation the following week.
Except Peter not only answered what must have been his cell phone (unless he was in the office working on a Sunday!), he listened to me without interruption and offered consice insight into my civil legal matter based on his experience and knowledge of the legal process. (Note: This is not the same as legal advice and does not constitute an attorney-client relationship. That's my FYI, not his.) He was totally straightforward as to whether it would be worth my while to hire him and explained how I could instead advocate for myself.
Peter is an exceptionally honest and decent human being, and I am so thankful he answered my call. After speaking to him for 7.5 minutes, I felt hopeful again about a situation that was intimidating and seemingly hopeless. I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you, Peter!

I contacted Henry Rau regarding my mother's will (prepared by Henry) because I was the power of attorney and needed to ask some questions. One of my siblings was coercing my mother for money, and I needed guidance. The lawyer returned my call over a week later and claimed I was not the power of attorney, stating that someone else was listed. He also informed me that my mother had amended her will and now had only one child instead of three. Needless to say, I was shocked by this information.
It turned out Henry was reading the wrong will. He never apologized and instead blamed me, claiming he didn’t have my mother’s name—despite the fact that I had surely provided it in my message. The excuse made no sense, especially since he had called me back specifically about my mother. After causing significant turmoil in my family, it became clear that he had been reading my will, not my mother’s.
Throughout the ordeal, Henry took no accountability for his mistake, never apologized, and instead shifted the blame onto me while boasting about the number of cases he’s handled over the years. I deeply regret giving this attorney my business. His incompetence and arrogance are glaring.

Warning!! Billable hours are overcharged, double charged, incorrectly charged. If you attempt to discuss the items billed for, amount of time charged or the duplicate charges Maryanne Pitcher will string you along. Will schedule a time to discuss and review the bill to appease you then cancel the meeting. Doing this repeatedly. After numerous attempts to resolve the incorrect and over billing my case was dropped, the firm sued and sent the charges in question to collections. They also send other clients case information to the wrong person. I received other clients case documents to my address. Maryanne was confrontational, belittling, and condescending. Will be contacting state bar as others in the reviews. As well as contacting another attorney referred to me that has been successful resolving issues with the firm for Maryanne’s practices. I am willing to pay for accurate hours spent working on my case before the firm dropped it but not double, inaccurate, or overcharges. Spent around $10,000 with the firm for them to drop my case, sue me for charges I refused to pay, for services Maryanne avoided discussing and resolving. If you are already a client, communicate everything in writing so your requests are documented. I quickly learned that discussions with Maryanne verbally would be later denied, taken out of context, or I would be accused of saying something I didn’t. If you are looking for representation and reading this before you choose there are several other very good reputable firms in the valley. It is worth waiting for a consultation. Legalities are stressful, find an attorney or firm that can treat you respectfully. That you can trust with your case and money.

I would not give any stars, if that was a choice. Mr. Smith was extremely condescending, rude and obnoxious. He would not listen to what I had to say and was not interested at all in my situation. I typically do not post reviews, but feel this is important. I have never been treated so poorly in a professional setting.

Mark is extremely well connected. He was highly recommended to me and he exceeded my expectations. I'm ugly and bipolar, and he did a stellar job defending me.
It is unfortunate that people don't know how to work with attorney. They have a heavy case load and can't remember the details on the fly. They HAVE to refer to their files before giving an answer. Every case has it's own quirks. And people micromanage because they are infinitely more vested in the outcome (unless it's a contingent fee!--then BUYER BEWARE. you receive a 1/3 and get taxed on 100%).
Mark even told me that. How honest is that? BTW, the outcome was better than I expected. Thank you Mark. You really helped me out of a legal nightmare.

Walt handled an easement dispute for my wife and me. We found him to be very nice to work with. He listened to our concerns and idea, gave good feedback and helped negotiate a settlement that was responsible for all. Walt is not one that will look for a fight - he looks for a solution and work to avoid the courtroom. In addition to his 'lawyering' skills I was very happy with Walts' communicativeness - his willingness to meet and discuss and to take and return telephone calls promptly. He was very easy to work with.

Bankruptcy is a process that takes patience and diligence to get through. When I met with Mr. O'Brien, I was in a bad financial situation and his guidance and advice helped to drastically improve my position in 5 years. I filed Chapter 13 with his representation and he worked to get me a very favorable monthly budget to manage repayments and still enable my day to day life. He's very good at his job. I payed 5k for help in my divorce case. They showed up to court once and then dropped me after they said I was gonna lose my case. I had cops and dhs backing me up and they did nothing. They then filed stuff on my behalf after dropping me and changed me for 3k. They then sued me and I didn't know I even had to go to court because they sent it to my old address... they are a scam and I hope they get shut down.
