Jim helped write a creative contract for our professional photo and video agency. It is a specialist contract for creatives and encompasses many bespoke terms for copyright and photographer specific terms as well as come special sub-contractor agreements, etc. He was knowledgeable and also took extra time to research areas that were not already in his wheelhouse. He was prompt and kind.

We had a very bad experience with Mr. Hwang. This was the only appointment we had with him. I think he is impersonal, angry, self absorbed and not patient. What do people need when they are going through the worst of their lives? -Patience, kindness and awareness of other people’s feelings, as death can be devastating for the family and friends. Knowledge without these traits is like getting a big enciclopedia. Please read all the reviews that have been written about him. I did not before setting an appointment, and regretted it.

Jinoo covered all the bases to make sure my husband and I, as well as our beneficiaries, are protected. Jinoo Hwang was referred to me by another lawyer who recommended him for his skills in creating a trust that was more useful for me because it was applicable in all 50 states and not just one. Jinoo's knowledge of recent changes in trust laws were invaluable in creating a trust which is inclusive of my estate but also allows me the flexibility to designate specific things to individuals in the event of my passing. The final piece that I was impressed with was the succession of trustees and the inclusion of a third party to act as the trustee in case of need. All trustees are fiduciary and charged with administering the trust in my best interest. This final piece afforded me much peace of mind. I recommend Jinoo's services in this manner.

He doesn’t care! He sees dollar signs and tells me I should sue my past attorney for what she failed to include in my divorce. Doesn’t even want to look at the bank statements and my husbands Quicken account with my son’s savings account numbers, and my account numbers, set for download and transfer… which he did. He doesn’t care that my husband abused and stole from my kids and I, prior to our marriage. This attorney is book smart. Immature at life. Talks down to me as if I’m a child; I’m at least twice his senior. Arrogant firm; arrogant attorney.

A big firm in San Francisco recommended Dan Stotter when I'd exhausted all other avenues. I'm a journalist and author by trade, and had a FOIA request that was blatantly ignored by a government agency. I needed help, but lawyers were reluctant to go the distance given that I had limited funds. They also weren't sure that my request rose to the level of the public's need-to-know. Well, Stotter believed in it, and carefully yet forcefully got the government to fulfill its legal obligations. He is forthright, professional, and clear. I highly recommend Daniel Stotter, and while I hope I never have reason to use his services again, I hope others will.

Your vacant lot is filled with tents, dogs, human excrement, and needles. Because it is private property, nothing can be done. Maybe fence it off? Lots of people are trying to actually live and feel safe in this area and the derelict property has a growing population of houseless folks living in squalor - I realize you live in a nice area and all, but you need to do something about this.

Shawn is very knowledgeable especially in regards to foreclosures. I was referred to him by a friend and was expecting to pay for our telephone conversation and the helpful advice he gave which resolved my issues with my client, but his first consult was free! Our Company seeked legal help on behalf of an owner who's triplex we managed that had a shared driveway. The Neighbor/tenant next door, was using the driveway for their sole use. After some very stern letters to the owner of the property, the problem was resolved and the debri removed.

Mr. Dawson was hired as a personal injury attorney, but I had numerous problems. 1. He overstated and oversold his capabilities. The final outcome was much less that stated. 2. After two years on the case he did not have a single medical expert to testify in court for a permanently injured client, leaving no good options. 3. Lack of transparency was a serious issue. Mr. Dawson withheld critical documents from my review and approval, then expected me to sign agree to unsatisfactory terms. 4. Mr. Dawson threatened lien(s) if the case was not resolved, even though the demand letter was rushed out-the-door without my personal review. 5. In the end I felt very strongly the attorney was more concerned about collecting fees for himself than the well being of the client.

I was in a pretty bad car accident recently. While recovering, I received word that the other driver was not accepting reponsibility. I was referred to the Dawson Law Group by several sources...some friends, some family. I contacted Bryan Dawson specifically and explained my situation. Mr. Dawson wrote an effective letter to the insurance company and it wasn't long before they had accepted fault. My case was complicated because it involved a natural disaster. When a case gets complicated, often both sides just agree to mutual fault. In my case the other driver had been negligent and operated his vehicle in my lane. Mr. Dawson made it clear that disregarding standard driving safety laws are not excused by inconvenience...especially when you cause damage and bodily harm to others. During my case, Mr. Dawson exhibited kindness, compassion and effectiveness. His secretary and associates were helpful when he was unavailable assisting other clients. He was punctual in returning my calls and he listened to me when decisions needed to be made. I highly recommend Bryan Dawson and his whole law group. They're professional, friendly and very effective. I am grateful for their help.

Randal assisted my family with a very complicated lawsuit revolving around a neighbor dispute/nuisance claim. Although I am a licensed attorney myself, I knew I was in over my head. Every lawyer I spoke to suggested I hire Randal, and they were correct. He was able to remove the emotion from our case and keep us focused on the facts. We had some difficult discovery issues that he carefully navigated. Finally, he guided us through multiple rounds of mediation and was able to secure a fair settlement for us. This was a long and stressful process, and I don't know how we could have done it without Randal and his firm at our back. I can't say enough about his skills. He is an excellent writer, he knows the law, and he is a great negotiator. You will not find a better lawyer in Portland. Thanks Randal!

Justin has represented me on the purchase of a large business, the sale of two smaller businesses, initial creation of my trust/estate planning documents, complete restructure of my estate/trusts after my divorce and a ton of small real estate related matters along the way. When I opted to call Dave about a real estate transaction that I was being sued over, I never knew how fortunate I was in making that call. What should have been an easy matter to resolve turned into a 2.5 year battle - all because of the unprofessional behavior of the opposing council. I knew very little about the civil litigation process and statutes that govern them. Dave was very patient with me and made sure I understood along the way what to expect and the options I had at each decision point. In this way, he was a coach and trusted teammate. I could always depend on Dave to communicate quickly and openly everything that was going on between him and the opposing counsel. When I would ask for his opinion I could expect a calming voice on the phone often talking me off the ledge as I would catastrophize the situation. His advice was invaluable. These were the “soft” skills that Dave brings to the practice. Things that maybe you wouldn’t consider in choosing a lawyer. He presents himself as the neighbor next door and has a wide range of contacts and resources to draw upon. In addition to his personal style, Dave is an excellent lawyer and his years of experience shine in his knowledge of the law and the steps that need to be taken at each point in the case. In the end, we won the case without having to go to trial. But I had total confidence that if we would have gone to trial, we would have prevailed because of Dave’s preparation and full understanding of the case and the approach he would have taken. What could have turned into a financially ruinous situation for me turned into a windfall with a partial return of money that I had spent defending myself. DO NOT HESITATE TO MAKE THE CALL if you find yourself in need of a responsible lawyer that you can trust and depend on to represent you fairly and when necessary aggressively.

I was involved in a car accident where I was not at fault so I at contacted and hired Peter to help me with a car insurance claim because I felt the insurance company was not being fair. I couldn’t recommend Peter enough because He and his team were so responsive, organized and they won my case! This was my first time going through the legal process so I was nervous and not sure what to expect. But Peter and team constantly communicated with me and took so much stress off my plate. Joseph Feary comes off personable reasonable and intelligent. He absolutely did not show up in the most basic sense as a lawyer or small business owner. Despite being the *actual author* of the OREF forms that allow legal real estate transactions between parties without lawyers he *failed to correctly fill them out and file them*. This cost me the sale of a building the owners had agreed to sell months before in an amicable sale he was writing the contract for. He did not return calls or emails and had no counter person paralegal or support staff to address emergencies. As a small business owner and first time home buyer on a live work project this was the single biggest investment and dream of my life and livelihood and he did not show up on the day he was to file the contract. No one could reach him. The sellers thought it was shady confusing behavior because he had been in contact the evening before and they took another offer that arose in his absence for less money than I was offering. What an absolute nightmare to have trusted someone so uncommitted badly resourced and shamefully negligent at his profession. It was a done deal and should have been extremely easy to accomplish. He was in no way accountable for this mess. The next property of similar use cost more than $150,000 additional. Steer clear of this lackluster lawyer and save yourself time money and heartbreak !

Things in my legal malpractice case completely have changed from a year ago I sent in a complaint to the Oregon State Bar and nothing's been dismissed but they won't take the time to review my case again. The person I spoke to was very short and dismissive when I called today. Sorry I wasted your time and bothered you again office of Judy Snyder !!

If you are facing not one but multiple criminal charges (counts) involving the operation of a motor vehicle which carry the potential consequences of jail time and a big license suspension if convicted, there is good news. You can call Ben and Mark. Prior to facing this type of vexing ordeal, I had never been arrested in my lifetime. My case went all the way past a favorably conducted evidentiary hearing and legal conferences, just shy of having a 6-person jury trial scheduled with the Court over several months (longer than a year)—where Ben and Mark tirelessly, diligently, masterfully worked as the lead Attorney on defeating the entire case. E. Bradly Litchfield is by far the best man for the job. He is an ethical, honest, respectful, and knowledgeable attorney. He was a beacon of hope to my family (my wife and I) when our options appeared limited, and the likelihood of a satisfactory resolution seemed impossible. At the height of the pandemic, when it was difficult to find any attorney to take up our case, we got blessed with Brad. He stepped in and did a fabulous job. He understood our priorities and helped us find the best way to work through the process to achieve those goals patiently. I can't imagine what we would have done without him. Immediately after we entered his office and sat down with Brad, we knew we had an ally we could trust. We knew we had someone who would go to battle on our behalf and fend off false accusations and a system that appears to protect itself more than the people it purports to protect. From that first conversation, Brad took the time to know and understand the most minute details of our case. He handled our case efficiently with excellent customer service and professionalism. And just in general, he is a man of his word and a great man overall! Brad would do his best to ensure a peaceful resolution of our case. But if you have to go to trial, Brad is absolutely someone you would want in your corner. I have worked with Brad on multiple occasions for a variety of reasons. In each situation he has worked tirelessly to support me. The thing I appreciate the most about what he does is that he is real and genuine. He never just told me things to make me feel better or to take my money. He would always give his opinion of what he thought would happen or what he would suggest. At the end of the day he let me decide, but I always felt like my decision was informed. He took my situations seriously, never judged me, and I truly felt like he had my best interest in mind. His paralegal, Dawn, is also amazing. The two of them are a great team. I have recommended Brad to several people and those people have said nothing but good things about him.

Bradley Litchfield is extremely competent and did everything he could to get my husband and I custody of my stepson. He was confident and made us feel that he could do what he told us he would and we felt very comfortable using his judgment. He never promised anything and always told us the downside of every option we had. He and his assistant were always helpful and available to talk for you the most part when we had issues or just needed clarification. Without him, we would have been lost. He is the best lawyer we could have asked for.

If I could give 10 stars out of five, I would. I was involved in a civil case in which my 15 year old son was expected to testify. My son was very nervous about this and so was I. Brad Litchfield accepted the case and we feel so fortunate to have been in his care. I feel certain my case was not the most important matter in his caseload, but he always made me and my son feel as though it was. It was a great pleasure to meet him and to see how professionally and empathetically he handled our case. He is clearly a caring and compassionate person and was respectful to everyone involved. Importantly, I appreciate that he at all times made my son feel informed, at ease, safe, and cared for. And, of course, he won our case!

Brad helped me so much through my divorce and helped me keep my mind level while doing so. I had other charges that he wasn't related to but he took it on his own to help guide me through them as well by working with my other attorney. He is a real class act, and I would recommend him to anyone!

Ms. Thorpe tried to try to take the easy way out, tried to talk me into to allowing the opposing party to bully me, and get away with requests that didn't make sense. While she may be knowledgeable in basic legal issues, she will NOT fight for you, would rather fight with you to give in, and doesn't seem to care about your best interest. When I retained new counsel, from out of the area, they saw the glaringly obvious, that there was already an agreement in place and the opposing party had no grounds to ask for more! She treated me like I was not worth her time, talked down to me and made me feel absolutely hopeless.

I had a few consultations with other lawyers and wasn't 100% sure about any of them. When it comes to something so important as your child you want to know you did your best to get the best help. I got recommended Amanda by a friend. Within a few minutes of my consultation with Amanda I knew she could help me. My consultation wasn't easy because of what I've been going through. She was understanding, caring, extremely knowledgeable, and very honest with her answers. We aren't finished yet but I'm so very grateful to have her in my corner. I feel way more confident knowing I have her on my side.

It is a miracle that I found Mr. Ragland when I did. Andy prevented my daughter from being moved out of state after my divorce, a situation that was terrifying and confusing, and a challenge that he accepted with immediacy. He brought a lifelong career's worth of experience as well as the empathy of being a father and grandfather into this case and we fought back fiercely and won. This child relocation case was a high stakes, lengthy, and emotional journey for me as a father, and Mr. Ragland brought empathy, humor, and clarity of mind to an otherwise harrowing experience, and for such a sustained amount of time. To be frank, Andrew Ragland is my personal hero. He kept me grounded and focused and it's impossible for me to imagine how I could have gone through that case with any one else. A rare and wonderful human, and an immensely skilled, wise, and consummate attorney - I recommend Mr. Ragland immensely.

I consulted Mr. Ragland when I needed legal advice before becoming a first-time landlord. He reviewed my lease agreement and fee policy form, and he gave me timely and appropriate suggestions – all for a reasonable fee. Chris help me with a big case. He kept me posted the whole way through these past several months. I hired Chris Cauble to handle the "Winding-Up" and Splitting Up of a C Corporation Partnership that had been running afoul for over three years. The case turned out to be more than a straight forward deal and involved a corporation, partners, wives, proxies, another LLC and Real Estate to figure out what to do with and how to move forward with. Additional challenges for Chris Cauble was that he had to learn about the complexities of my consulting business and the assets and talents I wanted to keep doing in my new business going forward. Chris took the time to learn my existing business inside and out and understand what my new smaller business (solely owned LLC) was going to pursue, after dissolving of the partnership. I think this single factor of Chris learning what my complex engineering business was and how I wanted move forward after dissolving the partnership, helped Chris achieve the best settlement for me long term. Chris put lots of effort into listening to what I had to say and dealing with each problem along the sometime emotional process of dissolving the partnership, which had gone from Great to a completely dysfunctional business ownership position for me as Co-Owner of the C Corp. Chris achieved good results because he listened to our opinions and took strong positions when the opposing attorney began utilizing last ditch efforts of fabricated issues and a mixture of far fetched mis information to get a bigger piece of the pie. To me Chris' big advantage is that he is very thought out and a logical attorney, that people will listen to and side with. You will find that Chris appears to be silent and quite professional when compared to other attorney's ... But I think I would quantify Chris as More of the "Under handed ,Silent, But Deadly" Type of Lawyer. I plan on utilizing Chris's services completely for my other businesses, estate issues, potential trust formation, and real estate holding companies going forward.

While Mr Ainsworth wasn't the attorney I needed for my particular case, he still took the time to listen and guide my next steps. While looking over my case he also found an error made by the plaintiff's atty and explained how to challenge it and thus he potentially saved me thousands of dollars. When faced with lots of bureaucracy and frustrations his friendly kindness made everything feel far more manageable!
