A big firm in San Francisco recommended Dan Stotter when I'd exhausted all other avenues. I'm a journalist and author by trade, and had a FOIA request that was blatantly ignored by a government agency. I needed help, but lawyers were reluctant to go the distance given that I had limited funds. They also weren't sure that my request rose to the level of the public's need-to-know. Well, Stotter believed in it, and carefully yet forcefully got the government to fulfill its legal obligations. He is forthright, professional, and clear. I highly recommend Daniel Stotter, and while I hope I never have reason to use his services again, I hope others will.

Your vacant lot is filled with tents, dogs, human excrement, and needles. Because it is private property, nothing can be done. Maybe fence it off? Lots of people are trying to actually live and feel safe in this area and the derelict property has a growing population of houseless folks living in squalor - I realize you live in a nice area and all, but you need to do something about this.

Shawn is very knowledgeable especially in regards to foreclosures. I was referred to him by a friend and was expecting to pay for our telephone conversation and the helpful advice he gave which resolved my issues with my client, but his first consult was free!

Randal assisted my family with a very complicated lawsuit revolving around a neighbor dispute/nuisance claim. Although I am a licensed attorney myself, I knew I was in over my head. Every lawyer I spoke to suggested I hire Randal, and they were correct. He was able to remove the emotion from our case and keep us focused on the facts. We had some difficult discovery issues that he carefully navigated. Finally, he guided us through multiple rounds of mediation and was able to secure a fair settlement for us. This was a long and stressful process, and I don't know how we could have done it without Randal and his firm at our back. I can't say enough about his skills. During one of my trips to Portland, I happened to be walking around the streets when I came across Kilmer Voorhees & Laurick. This is a highly regarded general practice law firm specializing in litigation and business transaction matters.
What initially drew my attention was the building itself. It was beautifully maintained, and the garden was meticulously groomed. It almost resembled a charming little White House. It turns out that this establishment is a law firm, and if you ever find yourself in need of legal assistance, it might be worth considering their services.

I was involved in a car accident where I was not at fault so I at contacted and hired Peter to help me with a car insurance claim because I felt the insurance company was not being fair. I couldn’t recommend Peter enough because He and his team were so responsive, organized and they won my case! This was my first time going through the legal process so I was nervous and not sure what to expect. But Peter and team constantly communicated with me and took so much stress off my plate. I was just able to wrap up a lawsuit with Troy's help. While it was a hellish year of living in the property of an incompetant and malicious landlord, Troy made the entire lawsuit process so easy. We were able to consult with him quickly to see if we had a case, his agreement was straightforward and easy to understand. He was responsive when the unexpected came up and really knew how to layman's terms the legalese of it all for me. We ended up negotiating a settlement and avoided the courts which was very much preferred. I can't recommend him enough if you're in the Portland area and you have a potential case with a landlord.

Ms. Thorpe tried to try to take the easy way out, tried to talk me into to allowing the opposing party to bully me, and get away with requests that didn't make sense. While she may be knowledgeable in basic legal issues, she will NOT fight for you, would rather fight with you to give in, and doesn't seem to care about your best interest. When I retained new counsel, from out of the area, they saw the glaringly obvious, that there was already an agreement in place and the opposing party had no grounds to ask for more! She treated me like I was not worth her time, talked down to me and made me feel absolutely hopeless.

I cannot thank everyone enough at Corson & Johnson! I was in an accident when I was still in college and thought there was nothing further I could do about the situation. I was referred to them by my friend's Mom, who is also a well respected attorney. I thought the process would be scary and complicated (as any young adult might think) but it was evident right away that their team is so KIND and AMAZING.
