VERY unprofessional. His relative, Jason Hunchuck, is a realtor so Joseph's firm handles the closing process so they can both benefit. I sent escrow money for a deal then declined to move forward with the deal. It's customary for the escrow holding company to reach out to get the wiring instructions to send the money back. I never heard from Joseph and when I reached out to him, he tried to play coy and said that I did not reach out to him. THIS IS NOT HOW IT GOES. He held on to my money for an additional 3 days. Be weary when using this company for closings.

My son hired Ms. Stanley to represent him in his divorce. She was phenominal! My son is a Wounded Warrior and Ms. Stanley showed great compassion and understanding towards him as she helped him through his divorce. His greatest concern was being able to have shared custody of his baby. She took the time to explain everything to him including what to expect when he went to mediation. She kept him informed on everything. My son remarked after his mediation, "Ms. Stanley ran the show. She was so knowledgeable. She was like a judge, she knew everything." We hired this attorney several months ago to handle a business case that remains unresolved. We had no communication regarding fees or status of the case for 5 months. We just received a bill for triple our initial payment. Had we been informed of the costs involved; we would have taken a different route. Lack of forthright communication was a major issue.

I retained Mr. Miller's firm for an Action in Partition defense. I was lied to by his partner Robert Garcia. He told me he was going to file a Motion for Mediation, prepared it, billed me for it and never filed it. He failed and refused to get a matter to mediation three times, under the guise that he was trying to save me money, after which I told to get on with and that he would be paid, and he still refused. Mr. Miller even told him to file the Motion and get the Judge to sign an Order. Mr. Garcia still failed to do so.
Then when I became angry at his failure to act, he fires me! Then there was the matter of the $2,500 retainer I paid these people. I had to ask for an itemized bill. I eventually received an email of what was left of my retainer.
Upon receipt of my bill, I discovered that I was billed close to $150 for preparation of a Motion THAT WAS NEVER EVEN FILED WITH THE COURT!! Unless it's filed, it's of zero value! THEN I was charged a $15.00 fee for "filing" another motion. THIS is purely a secretarial function! This takes minutes at best. I have worked for law firms in three different states, and know of NO reputable law firm who bills their clients for pleadings that are NEVER filed and for secretarial services.
The descriptions Mr. Garcia entered on the bill are inadequate. I've billed my time, and my time entries were NEVER called into question because my descriptions were adequate! I was taught well. You simply cannot enter "email with opposing counsel," and a next to nothing description of that email unless, of course, you don't mind redoing billing entries!
When I questioned these email charges, I requested copies of those emails I was being charged for. Mr. Garcia requested that I give him essentially "carte blanche" to have his secretary figure this out and send them to me. He added I would be charged secretarial time and he had no idea how much that would be. Now, once again, I know of no reputable firm that does this kind of thing! IF you want copies of something, you are charged per copy what the Clerk of the Court charged PERIOD! There were NOT that many entries I was questioning.
They failed and flat out refused to address the billing issues. I asked Mr. Miller if he would agree to the Fee Dispute Arbitration Program of the Florida Bar. He failed to respond. IT'S FREE! I also sent another offer to amicably resolve the matter, which also went ignored by Mr. Miller and Mr. Garcia. There was a $600 difference between what they took as their "fee" and what I believe their sub-par work and what they put me through was worth. Many times, both Mr. Miller and Mr. Garcia stated "we do not nickel and dime our clients." Just because they say this, doesn't make it so.
I am a Senior Citizen, living on Social Security. These people ripped me off as set forth above, disrespected me, and took advantage of me.
I do not want anyone else to have to go through this with these horrible people. Use them for closing, as closing are cookie cutter. BUT do not use them for anything else.
Also, this website https://www.expertise.com/fl/orlando/real-estate-attorneys, scored 141 real estate lawyers in Orlando and arrived at the top 33, Mr. Miller's firm is conspicuously not among them. They were scored on availability, qualifications, reputation, experience and professionalism. It appears obvious to me that Mr. Miller's firm must not have measured up.
Now Mr. Miller and Mr. Garcia may attempt to refute all of this. BUT Please know that I have each and every email sent to my by both of them that will substantiate everything and then some.

Why does this guy have a 4 star rating? I'm living witness that this attorney is the worse I even experience.he takes your money and never answer the phone. Hired mr lee when I was charged with a 1st degree felony. Robbery with a weapon. First plea was 6 years. It took 11 Months to fight but in the end Curtis got the charge reduced all the way down to a 3rd degree felony of aggravated assault with out intent to kill. And got me a plea for time served with 3 years probation. Curtis stayed in contact with my family and myself through out the entire process. I am very satisfied with the outcome of my case.

Jesse is the best! I was referred to Jesse the second I found out that I was being improperly sued by my landlord. Looking for legal cancel that is prompt, very attentive to each individual client, very kind and understanding, hire Adams and Luka to fight for you!! I have been through the tiresome process of court many times and based on my experiences with and without legal counsel when you are facing criminal charges or something that is a little more serious than a traffic ticket it is always best to obtain legal council as soon as possible. Never look for the cheapest attorneys because here’s what you can expect: attorneys, who don’t answer the phone when you call them looking for an update on your case, attorneys, who do not update you on your case throughout the process, attorneys who show up late to your court dates and make you look like a fool, or attorneys that call you with the first plea deal at the state offers you and tell you that it’s the best deal you’re gonna get After charging you an arm and a leg for a retainer fee and promising you that they would fight for you tooth and nail.
Well, with Adams and Luka this is not the case for sure when I hired Adams and Luca to take my case, they were very quick to respond with the upmost respect and care that you can provide a customer with, furthermore, they were able to achieve more results in the first day of consultation with them then my previous attorney was able to do in six months, in addition, they were very communicative throughout the process and kept me updated on everything that was going on with my case, I met with my lawyer two weeks after they took my case to discuss the progress and review the case. After about an hour and a half of reviewing the content and discussing the case, the end result was leaving the office, very confident and happy with the choice I made in legal council. I highly recommend these wonderful associates!

This whole law firm is outstanding!!! Make sure you do your legwork, though. The more evidence that support your side will make their lives easier; they will make the best arguments for your case. Not every case can be won, but this firm is hands down, 5.0!
In June 2023, I retained Ms. Benton to represent me for a time-sharing/child custody case…We won that case! Ms. Benton was direct and fair. She was excellent in arguing my case and I was relieved that it worked out in my son’s best interest.

Tony is top notch!!
