Best attorney ever! I had a horrible experience with my hoa not releasing old liens and double billing during litigation. We went back and forth for 13 years until I hired Jonathan Dessaules as my hoa attorney within 2 months my liens were released and my ledger was zero. I highly recommend any issues you may have with your hoa hire him do not try to fight on your own the laws are easily mis leading hard to understand he knew every law Jonathan was able explain why it was not right to me and he was able to have it cleared up fast. I had an almost 6000 ledger go to zero for my family to truly start fresh! I wish I found him in 2010 would have saved me so much more.

Our HOA sued us over our addition due to a setback violation. We had never had to retain a lawyer before in our lives and suddenly we were in a panic.
We contacted Jon Dessaules from Dessaules Law Group and from the first conversation we knew we had come to the right place. Jon knew from experience the possible outcomes and walked us through what would most likely happen. Before our initial conversation, Jon took the time to review the facts about the case and various documents we had provided.
We had interviewed 3 other law firms and even started down the road with one of them. The experience with Dessaules Law was night and day. We saw immediate results and even saw a difference in how our HOA began treating us. The HOA went from being arrogant, standoffish, and demanding we tear down our addition to back channeling for a settlement.
Jon and his team gave clear answers to our questions and provided straight forward guidance on the best way to proceed with the case. When we gave suggestions or feedback it was incorporated where appropriate.

How can you do better for your client than obtaining a settlement well in excess of what the client expected. Rich did just that. He was cost conscious asking me, if I wanted to pay for a deposition or pass due to costs? I left that chose to Rich who chose yes and I'm glad he did. The deposition appeared to have increased the settlement in mediation quite significantly. Rich was obviously very well prepared for the deposition with a good retention of the facts and issues supporting my claim. I am not an Attorney but my two kids are so I get it. Law is a business so chose a lawyer that's a winner. I did and it provided great results.

Jose was very helpful and followed through with what he originally told me at my first consultation. I was going to be charged for Domestic Violence and he was able to get it dropped down to a misdemeanor until I took my classes and paid the fines. Now that I have finished it all everything has been dropped completely. Without Jose’s help I would most likely have an assault charge on my record. Thankful and pleased with his work.

We were very fortunate to have found Mr. Larry Karandreas to handle our Chapter 13 bankruptcy. I highly recommend him! He is a superb negotiator who is staunchly on your side. Jerry presented at the SAEMS RCRA Seminar. He presented on penalties and outcomes when dealing with regulators. His presentation was fact-based and provided attendees with great information as well as helpful hints on what to do next when in certain situations. He also provided additional hand-out materials. I was referred to Boreale Law Office by my divorce attorney. Having never met in person before working together I did not expect to be as cared after, listened to, and so exceptionally guided through my very sticky & personal eviction as I did working with Samit. My wife and I selected Samit from a list of attorneys recommended by Hyatt Legal Services, which we subscribe to. He did not disappoint. Although our trust restatement was unique and somewhat complicated, Samit was fine with it. He scheduled a videoconference (this was early on in the pandemic) and we went through what we were interested in doing and why. After a short time, Samit came back with a set of draft documents for our review. We responded with a list of questions, referencing each question by document/paragraph number. We held a second videoconference to discuss the questions. Samit explained all the legalese with practiced skill and patience so that we understood. We discussed changes we were interested in and we each made a list of changes for him to work on. A second draft soon ensued. This time, since so little was off, we were able to make edits directly to the document. He compared the submitted docs with what he sent us, approved the changes, and we had a final set of document and a restated living trust. We met with Samit and a notary public to execute all the documents. And with that, we could finally relax.
Samit was a pleasure to work with. At one point, as our trust desires were complex, I told him that, if what he was getting from Hyatt was not enough, we would gladly add whatever he thought appropriate. He declined, saying that he was being fairly compensated. We were shocked, since the last time we went through this process, our previous lawyer demanded additional payment. We feel this says a lot about Samit's approach - he is our advocate first and foremost.
In short, the whole process was painless and the new set of documents are well done. We were not expecting the professionalism, humor, and general likeability in a lawyer. It was an unexpected surprise. We highly recommend Samit Bhalala.
