I had an issue with a possible charge. I was recommend to Jefferson Simmons by a civil lawyer since it turned out to be a criminal case. I wasn’t sure where to go and he noticed that. Even though it wasn’t something they would be able to help, he still pointed me in the right direction and guided me on my next steps. Going out of their way to help someone regardless if they can help speaks a lot on who they are. If for some reason I need help in the future I wouldn’t hesitate!

Best attorney ever! I had a horrible experience with my hoa not releasing old liens and double billing during litigation. We went back and forth for 13 years until I hired Jonathan Dessaules as my hoa attorney within 2 months my liens were released and my ledger was zero. I highly recommend any issues you may have with your hoa hire him do not try to fight on your own the laws are easily mis leading hard to understand he knew every law Jonathan was able explain why it was not right to me and he was able to have it cleared up fast. I had an almost 6000 ledger go to zero for my family to truly start fresh! I wish I found him in 2010 would have saved me so much more.

Our HOA sued us over our addition due to a setback violation. We had never had to retain a lawyer before in our lives and suddenly we were in a panic.
We contacted Jon Dessaules from Dessaules Law Group and from the first conversation we knew we had come to the right place. Jon knew from experience the possible outcomes and walked us through what would most likely happen. Before our initial conversation, Jon took the time to review the facts about the case and various documents we had provided.

I was going to be charged for Domestic Violence and he was able to get it dropped down to a misdemeanor until I took my classes and paid the fines. Now that I have finished it all everything has been dropped completely. Without Jose’s help I would most likely have an assault charge on my record. Thankful and pleased with his work.

Mr. Irish was incredibly helpful with legal advice on reading and understanding the renters laws in place in Arizona as well as corroborating those with the lease I had signed as a renter. When my landlord attempted to kick me out because he wanted to sell the property, Mr. Irish gave me peace knowing that my living situation was protected by Arizona law and that the landlord could not terminate the lease unilaterally or raise the rent in the middle of the lease. I wholly recommend Mr. Irish and am writing this review as I pursue further consultation from him for problems regarding return of security deposit from the same landlord.

My wife and I selected Samit from a list of attorneys recommended by Hyatt Legal Services, which we subscribe to. He did not disappoint. Although our trust restatement was unique and somewhat complicated, Samit was fine with it. He scheduled a videoconference (this was early on in the pandemic) and we went through what we were interested in doing and why. After a short time, Samit came back with a set of draft documents for our review. We responded with a list of questions, referencing each question by document/paragraph number. We held a second videoconference to discuss the questions. Samit explained all the legalese with practiced skill and patience so that we understood. We discussed changes we were interested in and we each made a list of changes for him to work on. A second draft soon ensued. This time, since so little was off, we were able to make edits directly to the document. He compared the submitted docs with what he sent us, approved the changes, and we had a final set of document and a restated living trust. We met with Samit and a notary public to execute all the documents. And with that, we could finally relax.
Samit was a pleasure to work with. At one point, as our trust desires were complex, I told him that, if what he was getting from Hyatt was not enough, we would gladly add whatever he thought appropriate. He declined, saying that he was being fairly compensated. We were shocked, since the last time we went through this process, our previous lawyer demanded additional payment. We feel this says a lot about Samit's approach - he is our advocate first and foremost.
In short, the whole process was painless and the new set of documents are well done. We were not expecting the professionalism, humor, and general likeability in a lawyer. It was an unexpected surprise. We highly recommend Samit Bhalala.

After an illegal eviction attempt by my apartment complex, my daughter and I needed to just TALK to a lawyer about options moving forward. NO ONE, of a dozen Phoenix attorneys, would even return our calls or emails. This effort began back in October 2018, BEFORE this issue mushroomed in a very disturbing situation. We couldn’t get anyone to LISTEN long enough to retain them for a court hearing. Fortunately, I was able to get the case dismissed myself. But we still wanted the advice of a member of the bar. Ms. Innabi’s office not only LISTENED to me in my initial phone call, she scheduled a free 20 minute phone consult for the next business day. Throughout the weekend, I received confirming emails from her office which enabled me to dial down my stress level which has been overboard since October! Ms. Innabi took time out of her busy day to listen AND recommend a colleague whom specialized in the area of law that I was involved. Her clients are primarily landlords, therefore, under normal circumstances, representing me would be a conflict of interest. My issue is actual civil litigation which is not what she handles. Yet she was kind enough to listen and guide me to the right law office. I would have gladly PAID Ms. Innabi for her free advice. A plethora of other so-called Phoenix lawyers wouldn’t even take my money for a 15 minute consultation! I just hope they keep being “Ballers” for the rest of their career that can turn down FREE MONEY! I first heard Mat Sorensen do an IRA LLC web presentation on Youtube for a custodian company. I like what he had to say and how he said it, he was very clear and sounded very well informed on the issue. I don’t know why I didn’t just call him right away to see if he would help me form my IRA LLC, maybe because he was not in my state?..Maybe because I thought he would be too busy? to expensive???
I don’t know what my problem was but I called 5 different lawyers all who didn’t seem like they had the same level of expertise Mat did. As my frustration grew so did my courage. I finally figured... what did I have to lose? Just call the guy I heard on Youtube! So I did. WOW! He knocked my socks off even more on the phone. He answered all my hard questions about forming an IRA LLC while living abroad and didn’t need to go on and on trying to impress me with his knowledge like some of the other lawyers. His friendly, clear, concise answers spoke for themselves.
After I decided to go with Mat and KKOS I have been unbelievably happy with their level of service. The entire team is sweet, friendly, educated and helpful. They ALL seem like they know me when I call and always treat me with kindness and respect. Mat will even joke with me, a total stranger! How can you do better for your client than obtaining a settlement well in excess of what the client expected. Rich did just that. He was cost conscious asking me, if I wanted to pay for a deposition or pass due to costs? I left that chose to Rich who chose yes and I'm glad he did. The deposition appeared to have increased the settlement in mediation quite significantly. Rich was obviously very well prepared for the deposition with a good retention of the facts and issues supporting my claim. I am not an Attorney but my two kids are so I get it. We discussed my issues related to our Homeowners Association. Mick was very honest, knowledgeable and straightforward with his thoughts and advice.
