Adam made the closing process incredibly easy. Prior to my closing, Peak Settlements was very communicative, ensuring I had all the necessary documents, signatures, and information. They were responsive through emails, moved quickly, and answered all of my questions. Adam checked in with me prior to the closing and made sure I was all set with everything that I needed to have, including knowing exactly where I was going. I contacted Mr Hoffman on behalf of company over a contractual dispute. The opposing party had developed a majority of their financial basis for indemnification on matters not relevant to actual contract law. Additionally, the opposing attorney had made numerous errors in their filing. What I’ve highlighted is just a small portion of what Mr Hoffman was able to point out quickly and change the direction of this discussion toward a mediation and a “reasonable” level to negotiate. I felt Mr Hoffman did what was in my companies best interest to make matters practical and not emotional. As a small business owner trying to get by, the last thing I want is to deal with nuisances of a frivolous lawsuit… having Mr Hoffman on my side certainly brought clarity and confidence how we could handle this matter without creating an unnecessary and complex trial out of this.
Another item to highlight is that Mr Hoffman was quick to return calls/emails. When I originally reached out, he answered his phone. Can’t say that about any of the other attorneys I inquired with and I reached to a handful.

Called him late one evening to inquire about how to obtain my business license. He didn't get annoyed that it was after working hours. Instead, he promised to look it up first thing the next morning and get back to me which he did. He provided me with all the information I needed to get my business license. 5 stars is all this website offers but he gets 20 stars from me.

When our local planning office approved a gas station on a site of great historical and community significance, we (as citizens) tried to fight it on our own. The gas company's corporate attorney was too much for us, and we didn't know where to turn. A chance call led us to Michele Rosenfeld, who understood our situation and went to work on our behalf. Although the planning office's original decision remained intact , Ms Rosenfeld was able to negotiate funding from the gas station folks to mitigate at least some of the damage their construction would do. An important point is that, because the planning office had approved the project and because Maryland's standing laws are surprisingly strict, the gas station folks were legally not required to do anything. Thanks to Ms. Rosenfeld, instead of telling us to go pound sand, the gas station company provided funding to address important needs that our planning office had just dismissed out of hand. Ms. Rosenfeld worked for us with reasonable fees and terms, and settled our issue with the best outcome possible.

Attorney Chester has been referred to me by the online Montgomery Bar Association Referral Service. NO THE PHONE REFERRAL SERVICE, I have to underline that because they are incredible and do they best to assist. Back to Mr.Chester! I contacted him for a Condo Association dispute. first thing on the phone, He asked me what is the management company, I told him and he answered: " the company is owned by a good friend of his". Without being an attorney I spotted a conflict of interest right at the beginning of the conversation and the end of the conversation attests it and the lack of objectivity of this attorney. He found normal for a management company to hold a storage key of an owner for 2 years, He found normal a management company don't have and hold accurate and update paperwork. That management provide a 1989 ( 35 YEARS OLD) contract to be applied on a newly owned property of 2020. and so on.
I definitely DO NOT recommend this attorney.
He doesn't go to court to represent you or the law he studied!!

We were in a situation that we needed to back out a real estate contract signed without the full knowledge of the property, but the deceiving seller threatened to pursue damage far beyond earnest money deposit (EMD)
Before talking to Jonathan Bromberg, we consulted with two other lawyers, paid initial consultation fees. Neither offered any constructive opinions but had no problem representing us with additional fees. Without much hope left, we sought help from Jonathan Bromberg. When we met with Jonathan, he was fully prepared and was honest with our situation. With his experience and competence, he was able to find grounds to defend us. Our case finally resolved itself with the seller taking the EMD. Our experiences with Jonathan was absolutely positive. We felt lucky to have met him. My elderly and hearing-impaired parents had an HOC discrimination case brought against them, after their realtor led them astray with incorrect information. It caused an enormous amount of stress for all of us over the period of 2 years. However, the moment Mike came into the picture, the great weight on our shoulders instantly lifted.
Mike was extremely responsive, answered all my emails thoughtfully and thoroughly, met in person when I felt like I needed to have a quick meeting, and in short, I FULLY TRUSTED HIM. This was my first court case in my 50 years, and as a fairly impatient person, I learned that there were multiple steps we had to go through, and B could not be done before waiting to see how A played out. I think legal matters just come with so many unknowns as well, which makes everything more stressful for the layperson. It was only the full trust Mike inspired that allowed me to be patient with the process, and not have a breakdown along the way!
During our lengthy mediations with the complainant, there were 3 total respondents, each with our own lawyers. It was obvious (even to my parents for whom English is a second language) that Mike was the smartest person in the room. The other lawyers threw some ideas and opinions out but Mike was clearly the leader of the group, and the respondents and their respective lawyers, followed his gentle and professional lead and pace.
It might be cliche to say that I really hope I never see him again... but if we ever find ourselves in another legal situation, I know that it will be OK as long as we have Mike Campbell on our side. I believe he will always have the best interests of his clients in mind.

Michael was the level-headed and logical person we needed to help us see through the complexity and emotions of the process. Let me start by saying that if it had not of been for Doug Coggins, my career and future welfare could very well be jeopardized. A little while ago I got into some trouble with the Montgomery County PD and received some fairly serious criminal traffic charges. I had never been in this situation before and had no idea where to start. I met Doug under the referral of my parents and after my first visit, I immediately began to feel better. He told me that based on my past record which was pretty clean considering what I was facing and my decent sense personal integrity, the outcome of my case had a very good chance of being favorable. However, he made sure that he did not give me a false sense of hope and reminded me that I was always at the mercy of the court and that he would do everything in his power to help me. Sure enough a few weeks later Doug came through ten-fold. After our initial meeting, he met with the states attorney and was able to negotiate a deal which entailed that my more serious charges would be dismissed if I agreed to perform 24 hours of community service. I met with Doug one more time after that to discuss the details regarding my community service and how it affected my charges specifically. Following that meeting we went to court where Doug and the states attorney presented the details of our agreement before the judge and asked for an extension so that I could complete my community service. I kept in touch with Doug via e-mail letting him know when my community service was done, and a few months later we went back to court and essentially sealed the deal. The serious charges were dismissed, and the points were dropped on the less serious ones pending that I paid the fines. Doug's proficiency and courtroom demeanor were impressive to say the least and I hardly had to tell the judge anything which was very reassuring since I knew he was on top of it. I highly recommend Doug Coggins to anyone who finds themselves in a situation where they need professional guidance and someone who has their back.

I contacted Mr. Rand less than a week before my scheduled hearing date. His fee for the initial consultation was very reasonable and overall his charges are reasonable. During the consultation we were able to figure the focus of my case which was a great help among all the issues I wanted to include. I decided to present my case myself and Mr. Rand spent 4 hours with me on a rainy SUNDAY afternoon to help me prepare. Tom knows many different areas of law- my complaint was against a condo association- his preparation helped me overcome the opposition which had TWO high priced lawyers presenting their case.
I would (and WILL) work with Tom in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking to hire a knowledgeable attorney with solid credentials.

In a world where time is money, most attorneys are hard pressed to talk to people without being compensated. Today Attorney Torrence took the time to answer questions & provide options regarding a potential action. I sent an email to her on yesterday, she responded TODAY. She was not short or hurried and was MOST professional, knowledgeable and reasonable. She took her time and explained my options. It was pleasure to speak with her. And though I may not file an action that employs her TODAY, the time and the care that she took today is going to go a long way in helping to decide who I should go to when the time comes. What should one look for in a divorce lawyer? Well, I had no idea, but I’ve now been through the journey (and emerged successful). So, let me share what I’ve learned: Five things I’d tell a friend to look for in a family law attorney:
1. Knowledgeable and experienced about family law;
2. Tough and convincing in court and also part of the system (knowledgeable of and friendly with peers);
3. Diligent and demonstrates document preparation;
4. Informative and communicative while being realistic (no lofty promises, just the truth).
5. Last, and most importantly perhaps: Integrity and an honest concern for his clients
I’m able to put this list together, because Jonathan demonstrated all of these in handling my case, particularly his genuine concern for my children and me. This was important to me in my process. I’m so grateful to Jonathan for all he did and I highly recommend him.

When my family sold our house, we needed a shared driveway maintenance agreement to close the deal with our relocation company. Bob drafted a driveway maintenance agreement for the three neighbors to sign based on terms that we agreed upon. There had been some conflict in the past with these neighbors regarding ownership and maintenance costs of the shared driveway. Bob was diligent in working with us, our neighbors and their attorneys to finalize an agreement that we were all in agreement with. During the stressful period of selling a home and relocating our family across country, it was nice to know that we had an attorney on our side who made sure our interests were taken care of and negotiating terms for a ratified driveway maintenance agreement.
