Adam made the closing process incredibly easy. Prior to my closing, Peak Settlements was very communicative, ensuring I had all the necessary documents, signatures, and information. What was suggested by the lawyer did not work for me at all, and increased only the bill. It was only a question of pure administrative thing in family law, without even showing up in court. I was very disappointed. At the end, I did myself in 3 hours what the lawyer was supposed to do correctly.

Mitch always made the closing easy and less expensive. he would find errors in the loan documants by national lenders and correct them, saving me hundreds of dollars at the table. When getting a loan from an out of state lender, he would contact them directly so they knoew how to do business properly in Maryland and not over charge me as the lenders were inclined to do.

Barry not only failed to protect me in a contract I hired him to negotiate, but then when he represented me on the lawsuit, he failed to notify me of a discovery request. When his error prejudiced my case, I opted to settle. Haberman insisted on his full bill being paid despite the fact his mistake in the initial contract negotiation created the lawsuit and his sloppy handling of the lawsuit then weakened our position for settlement negotiations. I hire real attorneys at downtown firms for my business. Here I hired a strip mall quality guy and got strip mall quality advice. STAY AWAY.....

I found Mr. Haberman to be very professional he treated me with the upmost respect and he always kept me informed of all my issues. I have used his services for every issue that I have come across in my life. I met him in 2006 through a friend from another friend. He is the best attorney I have ever known, and I have dealt with a lot of attorneys. He shows compassionate and concern for his clients. I can recall when I was going through a situation and I had to call his home, he was asleep his wife, who was a sweetheart, told me he was asleep but she would wake him up for me, which she did. This is an arrogant overrated attorney, who did very little with my personal injury case over a period of eight months. After failing to get insurance information, he reneged on our original agreement, and wanted a $10,000 fee instead. Errors were made in mailing documents, and the limited amount of work that was done was dilatory and shoddy. Hiring this attorney was a total waste of time.

Was referred to Mr. Riffkin from a colleague about estate planning. He only partially completed the job, but not before I had paid him in full. Since then he has been VERY unresponsive. To repeatedly try and get a response for 2 months is not reasonable. However, before he was paid, he was responsive. Lesson - don't pay in full until every part of the service is completed.
