If I could leave 20 stars I would. I’ve been working with Divorce with a Plan since February and man am I glad I have them in my corner. It’s been a rollercoaster this far but this law firm has helped me through, especially in times of need. After nearly a year of trying to negotiate my mortgage loan, my wife convinced me to hire a firm to handle it. Stephanie drew up spreadsheets and profit and loss statements and helped me properly prove hardship which got my loan modification approved. Within 3 months, my loan was reworked and I could finally afford the monthly payments. Since I have caught up on the mortgage, I am filing a chapter 7 bankruptcy to rid myself of the credit card and medical debt. I am definitely happy with the service and I plan on continuing to use their services.

Mitch always made the closing easy and less expensive. he would find errors in the loan documants by national lenders and correct them, saving me hundreds of dollars at the table. When getting a loan from an out of state lender, he would contact them directly so they knoew how to do business properly in Maryland and not over charge me as the lenders were inclined to do.

This is an arrogant overrated attorney, who did very little with my personal injury case over a period of eight months. After failing to get insurance information, he reneged on our original agreement, and wanted a $10,000 fee instead. Errors were made in mailing documents, and the limited amount of work that was done was dilatory and shoddy. Hiring this attorney was a total waste of time.

Barry not only failed to protect me in a contract I hired him to negotiate, but then when he represented me on the lawsuit, he failed to notify me of a discovery request. When his error prejudiced my case, I opted to settle. Haberman insisted on his full bill being paid despite the fact his mistake in the initial contract negotiation created the lawsuit and his sloppy handling of the lawsuit then weakened our position for settlement negotiations. I hire real attorneys at downtown firms for my business. Here I hired a strip mall quality guy and got strip mall quality advice. STAY AWAY.....

Was referred to Mr. Riffkin from a colleague about estate planning. He only partially completed the job, but not before I had paid him in full. Since then he has been VERY unresponsive. To repeatedly try and get a response for 2 months is not reasonable. However, before he was paid, he was responsive. Lesson - don't pay in full until every part of the service is completed.
