Brian Walters expertly guided me through a multi-year custody case that was only resolved after a week-long jury trial was held. At trial, Brian was uniquely able to convey empathy towards the other parent while still delivering the hard facts of the case. I believe this resonated with the jury as they were being asked to make a decision that reflected the best interests of the child and not the best interests of either parent. In my personal case, and I suspect in most custody cases, it is easy to demonize the other parent for what they did to you and how their actions are continuing to hurt your parent-child relationship. From my perspective, this is why it is invaluable to retain a legal team that is emotionally intelligent in how they present the facts of the case. Brian was incredibly adaptive when speaking with witnesses and able to effectively anticipate and respond to comments from opposing counsel. Brian unquestionably focused and presented on the best interests of the child and I am beyond grateful to have been able to work with him and his firm.
Logan Kilgore joined our team towards the end of multi-year custody case and brought a refreshing positivity in an otherwise draining situation. Logan swiftly appraised herself of the case and I immediately felt secure not only with her professionalism but more significantly in her level of care. Throughout the case Logan listened to my concerns, stayed focused on the child’s best interests, and used all resources available to accurately convey those concerns during a temporary order hearing and during a week-long jury trial. At trial, I was humbled by Logan’s ability to manage exhibits, coordinate and examine witnesses, and communicate with all involved parties. Further, she was able to accurately recall specific details of the case and then pull factual evidence from the exhibits to directly disprove statements made by witnesses or opposing counsel in a manner that still conveyed empathy to the other parent. If you are in New Braunfels it’s best not to hire him. He didn’t have time for my son’s DWI here. ( but he did happily take my money). On the actual final court date he was in court in San Antonio. We were just lucky that his hearing got delayed so everyone here waited 1 1/2 hours for him to show up.

I strongly advise against hiring Peter Stanton if you value your time and money. My experience with him was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite his initial promises, he did absolutely nothing to advance my case. Instead, he consistently charged me exorbitant fees for minimal effort.
One particularly egregious instance was when he billed me $350 for a 15-minute Zoom call. To add insult to injury, he charged an outrageous $175 to write a six-line letter, which he insisted on sending with my final check. To top it all off, he even managed to write my name wrong on the check!
This attorney is a scammer and seems more interested in milking his clients for money than providing any real legal assistance. Save yourself the headache and find a competent and honest attorney elsewhere.

As a retired veteran , I would give Alex Salazar 10 stars if I could. The staff at Law Office of Steven C Benkelaw offices are the absolute best. I had made a call for a quick consult before the office almost closed. The reception was great in having Alex call me after hours. I had felt really threatened that my kids would leave on a trip and not come back. After the phone call I went to go see him for an initial consult and we discussed my case further. I had consulted other law offices for about a month and felt I needed to Go with Mr Salazar after being repeatedly harassed my spouse.
I feel he went above & beyond in the separation agreement proceedings with a mentally abusive narcissistic. Between Mr Salazar and Stacy Hernandez they made the situation the best it could possibly be. They both were always calm under pressure and Mr. Salazar was able to quickly and efficiently diffuse panic situations. They both understood and empathized for me and my situation. I truly felt I had an advocate in my corner from the moment I met them.

I would NOT recommend Enrique Alex Salazar, he charged me a $200 consultation fee to go over an issue. At the end of the consultation meeting, I told him I would like to hire him so therefore he asks me for documents he would like to see and will remove the $200 consultation fee if hired.
I’ve called him and texted him and has yet to replied. I called his office and his secretary told me that he is too busy to take my case, but I guess he wasn’t too busy to take my $200 consultation money. Even the receipt reads that it’s a refundable consultation fee

I was in a low place. I went to the court house seeking help because my ex wouldn't let me see my kids. Court house couldn't help. But they did recommend a lawyer. That was Alex. He listened to me, spoke to me like a real person n not some salesman. I hired him and he fought for me. He isn't a greedy attorney like the Rebecca Gonzalez law firm. He answered text messages, returned phone calls day or night. I definitely recommend him. If I ever need a lawyer again, it will definitely be him.

Very dissatisfied with the services and I do not recommend. Communication is very poor, attorney does not follow-up with clients at the important deadlines that he sets which are critical to the case, the attorney did not follow-up with the rental company as promised either. He told us he had emailed the rental company as a follow-up during the process, however, once we fired him for poor service, and requested our records, we discovered that the emails he claimed to have sent to the rental company was never sent.
I have text and email confirmations for all of the above mentioned. My husband and I are now fighting a battle with a rental company that we shouldn’t have had to if the attorney would’ve stayed on top of things, communicated effectively with both parties and did his job instead of lying to us. 0 stars.
