They sent the dealer I bought a car from a demand letter without my knowledge and I don’t even know how he got my information I don’t know how this is legal. I only found out from the dealership. Kasra Sadr was doing all of this behind my back trying to get money from the dealer I bought a car from. I never knew this lawyer before I got notification about a demand letter sent on MY BEHALF?? WITHOUT MY CONSENT. This is absolutely INSANE! What a low thing to do. There is nothing wrong with my car and I have NO IDEA how he got my information. Then he tried to convince me to sue the dealership and that I could “make a lot of money” since my car has been in an accident according to the auto check. But I already knew this when I bought the car and literally signed for it so there was NO POINT in trying to sue them for something I already knew about at the time of the purchase. He not only violated my privacy by getting my information, but also tried to get me to falsely sue the dealership when they did nothing wrong and disclosed everything to me. I DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!

My experience started off well until I requested on a couple of occassions an account summary for which I was told by another legal office I was entitled to. Emotionally upset from the long delay and other issues after a death, I was scolded that I did not know the law, I was not the executive, and that I would be charged legal fee's out of the trust for being on the phone talking to him after he stated, contact him with any questions when I finally got an accounting after almost 1 1/2 years later and after the death of a parent. I do not care how long one has been in practice, but no concerned representation here except to the executor. Been through so much and feel he absolutely is not a people person...If that does not matter to you then this review is a legal opinion. Lj

Rebecca was referred to me by a close friend. She was initially responsive during the consultation but communication completely dropped off immediately after I had hired her. I attempted to contact her by phone and email numerous times without success. She never returned any calls or emails. Upon further investigation, I came to find out through someone else that she was leaving the firm she had been working for and had “handed off” my case to another attorney. I was truly disappointed with Rebecca’s unresponsiveness and lack of professionalism.

I hired Rebecca for help with a transfer of property between family members. My laser focus was on Prop 13.
I paid her invoices in full within a day or two of receiving them. Yet after the document signing and receiving her invoice on the same day, I heard not one more word from her.
Prior to the closing she sent me a letter outlining the final steps that were needed. One specifically said that she would send me a FedEx so I could send back one of the docs signed. I never received the mailer. The mailer was for the KEY and ESSENTIAL document needed by the county to lock in the Prop 13 transfer.
Knowing she was moving, I waited a week plus after the signing to follow up with her. I sent her THREE emails asking if she had filed an emailed pdf I sent her with the county. I sent her a copy of HER LETTER saying she would take this action. I asked her if she received my prior emails. She NEVER RESPONDED.
What bothered me the most about being ignored was that the issue I was asking about was the fundamental and elemental issue in contacting her in the first place. I brought up the importance of the Prop 13 transfer in virtually every single conversation I had with her. This was not some extraneous and irrelevant topic.
I contacted the county and they told me they hadn't received anything so I then started working with them. The county reps were fantastic, responding with clear guidance, within hours of my emails to them. The county could not have been easier to work with.
Finally, after waiting nearly four months for the county to process the transaction, I received confirmation that the transfer was done right. Until last week, I lived on pins and needles wondering if the transaction was processed correctly. Rebecca could have eased my concerns if she had simply responded to my emails.
Friends ask if I have any idea why she ghosted me and I don't. I was clear in what needed to be done. I was quick in responding to her questions. I paid her full bill without question nearly immediately after receiving it. I don't know what more an attorney could ask for in a client.
Her work was accurate as borne out by the confirmed property tax bill. There were a couple of times during the process where she dropped out of sight but popped back up when it was apparent action was necessary. For instance, a Friday afternoon email from me after finding out the closing was the following Tuesday. She jumped into action and got the necessary paperwork done by the end of the day. But was that really necessary? Should she have done the work previously and sent something for me to have reviewed? I kinda think so but I let it slide. But when she ghosted me, it seems to fit a pattern.
I debated long and hard whether or not to post this. She did do accurate work (only confirmed after four long months), she was friendly, but I just cannot overlook the fact that she dropped me like a hot potato once she'd been paid.
Maybe I was just chump change to her. After all I only paid her nearly $3000. Which isn't really chump change to me.

I have no means to validate the claims and reviews of others, except: I have received written electronic communication from him to pay $500 to $1,000 upfront to handle my eviction case.
I make no comments on his abilities as a lawyer nor if he has committed the acts others have accused him of.
Based on these reviews, however, I probably will not use him. That's all I have to say.

I hired Mr brehme on October 28. 2022 wow was that a mistake , all he cares about is what you have in your bank account, Our trial was set for March 21,2023. I called him a few days prior no answer left him a email because we had to push the date out do yo s family emergency. He emailed me back and said send me over and he would take care of it…,.,, Well mr. Brehme never showed up . No call No show … so when I called him to ask him how everything went in court … he’s reply, I’ve been in trial all week … li was in complete shock, he basically told me he doesn’t remember talking with me extra .. I told him he was crazy and now I have a default judgement again me, He said he would drum up a notice to set aside default judgement and a stay of excutiion well when my 2 nd court date came around which was July 6. No call no show again and the judge informed me all the paperwork was ALL wrong that he smitted. So here we’re are again is this a joke .. ? August 21 was trail. Now I have a 25000"judgement against me .

Mr. Jaffe was recommended to me from the California Bar, I was a service member who was having an issue with someone and he took on my case. Things were decent in the beginning but as time went on they changed drastically. Finally, He took himself off of my case as soon as he thought there was no way for him to make any more money. I did more in one weekend in San Diego than he did in over a year and a half. I did not live in San Diego at the time so I put all of my trust in him just to have it backfire on me. He will ask you for a $1500 retainer and will ask for more within a month from there. He states in his contract that your Retainer is "returned upon request" but after asking multiple times I have never received it. I had asked multiple times for an itemized receipt and never received one. I feel He is not an Honest Lawyer and I would not recommend him to anyone. Find someone who finishes what they start.
Oh and the way he went about removing himself as my attorney- He sent me paperwork next day delivery stating that he was requesting his removal from the courts, and provided me with a date that I could fly to San Diego to pose my objections. I flew there, I entered the courtroom at 0845 and the hearing was at 0900, the bailiff could not find my paperwork so he asked me to sit down and wait, when all the cases were reviewed and the judge left he came over to me (the bailiff) and said that Mr. Jaffe was in at 7 am that morning to and told the judge that I lived out of state and would not be attending the hearing, he then signed the documents and was removed without my right to refute.

I hired Dayna to handle my BK case and then a Settlement Agreement to obtain a Satisfaction of Judgement to have a lien removed from my property. I was referred to her by my brother. My husband and I had listed out house for sale but could not do so until the release of the lien. This BK was to be a Bare
Bones filing and was supposed to take 2 to 3 weeks at the most. In the 6th week, I received an offer to settle my debt and have the lien removed. I decided, due to the length of time wasted already, to settle with the offer and dismiss the BK. I informed Dayna, and asked her to dismiss the BK. She would only wait until the Judge dismissed it which took yet additional time. I hired her again to complete the settlement with my creditor and negotiate a lower pay off. This should have taken 1 week tops. After 3 weeks, I had to pay the full amount requested, I had to have the Satisfaction of Judgement delivered to me, and I had to file it at the county recorders office myself.
My complaint is that during the course of my BK, I was not allowed to contact her by phone per her instructions through my brother. She never met with me, never gave me any advice, and we never met. Throughout this BK, after many e-mails by me to Dayna instructing her to cease communicating and disclosing my case to my brother but, she continued to involve and tell my brother my business. I believe that is completely against my attorney-client privilege and against the law. She never completed my BK and never offered to refund any monies that I had paid her for. Likewise I hired her for the Settlement Agreement, separate from the BK case, and she continued to tell my brother everything about this case also. And like the BK case, she didn't negotiate a lower price, was gone from her office after instructing my creditor to deliver it to her overnight, I had to go to file the document myself at the county recorders office. and pay an additional fee to file it. Dayna was paid in cash by me and did not finish either case! I had to finish them, and pay an additional fee which was included in the cash price I gave her. She never contacted me after instructing me, by e-mail, to go and record the SOJ myself. She never offered to refund any of my money for not doing her job on this case as well as the BK case mentioned above. Her lack of integrity by breeching my attorney-client relationship is unacceptable to me and that is why I am writing this review. I want to warn people out there not to trust in her with your personal information and not to trust her to finish the job she is hired for. Also unacceptable to me is the fact that Dayna would not communicate with me by phone and did not counsel me in any way throughout my entire BK case! A lot of time was waisted in both cases and I lost 2 buyers for my house during this time. I'm completely unhappy with Dayna's attitude and the service I received from her!

The case that I'm using Ms. Chillas for has not reached conclusion yet. She has been extremely helpful in providing guidance in how to proceed in this civil law suit. She has done far more than I would have expected any attorney to do including helping me find competent medical specialists and appropriate support for my daily living needs which I haven't been able to handle since a horrible incident where I was injured though no fault of my own. She has found appropriate housing for me close to the specialists that have evaluated my injuries and who are providing therapy for me now. She has arranged a number of depositions in the case and is prepared to go to trial if the defendant in the case doesn't make a reasonable settlement offer within a reasonable time period. We're in virtually daily contact by e-mail and phone. She keeps me informed of all conversations with my doctors, the defendant’s attorneys and others involved in the case. When I wasn't able to get food and medication, she arranged for food to be delivered to me and for doctors prescriptions and pharmacy deliveries of needed medication. She has informed me as to case law for the situation I'm in and what I can reasonably expect to transpire. She has developed a time line for the case and keeps me informed as to where we stand on the time line. She has arranged care givers for me as needed but has not run up expenses that aren't necessary. She regularly checks on me to make sure I have whatever assistance is required. She makes all doctor appointments for me and arranges transportation to the doctors as necessary. Her encouragement has helped tremendously as I've gone through traumatic challenges since the incident occurred.

This guy needs his license revoked! He doesn't know the law at all and his arrogance and ignorance just won't let him to educate himself at least a bit. He doesn't care what law says, he makes up all kinds off laws and lies to his tenants to intimidate and get them do what they want. He was so stupid that he gave me 3 day eviction notice during covid mandate of no eviction, moreover any idiot even knows that one has to give 30 day notice, on top of that, in my contract it says I have 60 days! So why would you come to this guy to seek your services, so you will be ridiculed along with him for your ignorance as well? guys, find someone with solid reviews.

Being unhappy with my previous Landlord/Tenant Attorney, I started looking for a new Attorney to handle our evictions. Being in the Property Management business, I have a duty to my clients to utilize the best. I met Mr. Simone at a seminar he did for the Apartment Owners Association in October 2009.
In todays trying economic times, I have had to rely on the services of Mr. Simone and his office The Landlords Legal Center. He has an incredibly knowledgeable staff always willing to assist.
May costs have always been predictible and I have never had to go into thier office to get my cases started. They provide information when needed and even answered my e-mails on the weekend. I recommend this service to anyone dealing with a bad tenant. I was really impressed when I did go to thier office last week and noticed that they are now accredited by the Better Business Bureau, way to go guys keep up the good work, you have my business.

Joe did a great job for me back in the day and resolved the issues with a LandLord entirely to my satisfaction. When I called him years later in the mid 1990s for additional representation he had become more of a Real Estate Owners Attorney but took the time and trouble to refer me to another tenants legal firm that did a great job for me too. This attorney drafted a living trust for us more than 10 years ago. Today, his wish is to redraft the entire document rather than to simply adjust beneficiaries. He wants to charge us as if we had nothing already in place. We see nothing wrong with the wording in the original document.

I was referred to Searcy by his friend/my current attorney and I simply approached join for a civil litigation consult regarding property managers I want to sue if I have the grounds for a case. I contacted for the first time on May 12th. May 17th I reached out again informing him I had expected a response by then, to which he responded that he was currently very busy with his schedule and he would get back to me later that week. Understandable. May 20th he reached out to schedule a time the following week to speak. The following week we spoke on the phone on May 23rd. On Thursday May 26th I had to reach out again to see if he had been able to finally go through the documentation I had sent over on the 12th. I did not get a response until Wednesday June 1st stating that he needed more documentation. I reached out to the attorney that had referred me to him and let him know what Searcy was saying, and he said that he would contact him to see what he needed and would get it to him. That was the last time I heard from Searcy. I have emailed on the 7th, 14th, and 19th of June trying to get a hold of him. I have been waiting over a month for him to simply look over some documentation and let me know whether or not I have grounds to pursue a case. I have reached out to the referring attorney asking if he has been able to reach Searcy and he stated that he may be busy with other cases. This is understandable, but when I can’t even get a response to my multiple emails letting me know when I CAN expect a response then this is completely unprofessional and unsatisfactory. It does not take a month to let someone know something so simple so that we could have moved on with the case. This man told me he would let me know and he has abandoned me and my legal needs rather than at least letting me know that his plate is too full to take this on.

FYI, I am, the client a disabled man and incapable both physically and mentally of suing anyone. I am now facing a statue of limitation issue for my injury. A complete waste of time!
