I am obliged to post my review since the reviews and comments here has lead me to a right decision of choosing Julia Jayne. She is one of a kind- prompt in answering emails, calls and inquiries, approachable, honest, straightforward, witty, pro active. We’ve only met for a short time, she listened, had genuine concern, and had acted right away. My case was resolved in less than half an hour. And even after that, Julia still reached out when she has concerns. And she only charged reasonable fees. Words are not enough to thank Julia for what she has done. No one would wanna be in a position where you need to consult or hire a lawyer, but sometimes, that is life. Don’t hesitate, consult Julia. From my heart, I highly recommend her.

In our case, Julia got a great outcome by having a great strategy and pursuing it quickly. Julia is very very smart, which you can gather from the other reviews. She also listens, which was key to our case. She listened to us, she listened to the prosecutor, and she used all of the information she gathered. She communicates clearly, and made sure that we understood every step in the process and also the strategy that she pursued so energetically. “I cannot recommend Joseph Tobener and his team highly enough! Joseph represented me in an extremely stressful wrongful eviction case and exceeded all of my expectations. From the very beginning, Joseph listened carefully to my concerns and respected my wish to pursue an out-of-court settlement with my elderly landlord whom I was reluctant to take to court. He excelled at the drawn out negotiations that ensued and delivered a well crafted agreement with my landlord that addressed my priorities.
One of the things I most appreciated about working with Joseph was his impressive communication skills. Tobener Ravenscroft law firm represented me and my wife regarding an unlawful eviction in San Francisco. Joseph Tobener represented us and was able to not only avoid an eviction but acquired a financial settlement to move out.

I found myself in a difficult and frightening conflict with my landlord, and initially felt completely intimidated and overwhelmed by the situation. I talked to a number of attorneys, including several of the more well-known tenant's rights firms in the Bay Area, many of whom gave me the run-around, or agreed to handle some aspects of the case but not others.

Carlos won our case for us when we were pushed out of our home by our landlord in San Francisco. A rent controlled home that I resided in for over 10 years starting in 2004. He didn't give up on us in a battle of a very big SF real estate company versus an individual family and and in the end we came out on top. He is very professional and a very kind person. Our family was in a dire predicament with a rental property that had been mismanaged by a former PM. This property has been in our family since the 90s and has never been in such a state. I reached out to Marc and he immediately went to task to save us from nightmare tenants who we had been left with. He was super responsive, thorough (understatement) and detailed. Elsa helped me during my divorce, which was a little complicated since it was between the US and France. The competence, compassion and humanity of Elsa are off the chart. To make a long story short, there was a dispute of jurisdiction between the two courts (California and France), Elsa was so good that the Judge in France mentioned her work in the sentence (which attributed the competence to California). But it was not only during this international dispute that Elsa was extremely helpful, even during the preparation of the hearing in California she was really valuable and supportive. You have always the feeling that she is genuinely caring about the best possible outcome for you. I don't know how to say it again, but if you are in the unfortunate situation that you need a divorce lawyer, Elsa is the best you can find!

I don’t have a ton of experience with lawyers, but would 100% recommend working with Cary after utilizing him to help with our prenuptial agreement. Cary was knowledgeable, quick to respond, and made the process as easy and straightforward as possible.
Since Cary was my lawyer and my partner had a different lawyer, I can tell you that our experience was one of extreme differences. While Cary was no nonsense, great at listening and modifying the document to support our wishes, and respectful of our timeline- my partners lawyer was an absolute nightmare for us both.
One large difference between the two was that Cary had a flat rate fee and my spouses lawyer charged by the hour. Because of this, I firmly believe his lawyer drew the process out as much as possible, often completely disregarding our express wishes, and did everything extremely last minute- causing a lot of stress and unnecessary anxiety for us all.
That said, Cary did a fabulous job handling working with someone so unimpressive, and I believe is the only reason we ended up with a document at all.

There are a lot of good lawyers out there, but when your child is in trouble, you need a GREAT lawyer, and that's where Mike Silveira comes in. Today, Mike contacted us to share the fantastic news that our son's case was dismissed. This was no easy feat. Our son received a DUI in Nov. 2020, and to make matters worse, fentanyl (not intentionally ingested) was found in his system. We looked at reviews online and we chose Silveira Law based on the great reviews we read. We could not be happier with the outcome. For more than 3 years, Mike Silveira fought for our son, never giving up and doing everything legally possible to have the case dismissed. I have spoken with 3-4 different attorneys regarding my landlord/tenant matters, and of those I talked to, I felt Maymei Szeto had much more patience to listen to my situation and evaluate the pros/cons of what can and cannot be done. Some lawyers were very cocky and wanted payment right away to get started on work when they did not even know the full story. Maymei took the time to discuss with me the whole situation, understand what my end goal is, and access the best path with least financial and time impact. It was a stressful situation for me, and in desperation, I was eager to take what seemed to me was the “easiest” route with little regard for the consequences of it later. Maymei was dedicated and worked tirelessly to negotiate terms that I felt achieved my goals and at the same time minimize my legal risks. As my attorney, she has made all the difference, and I would not hesitate to use her again on any future legal matters.

I can stay with confidence and without hesitation , my sole recommendation is Ms. Jennifer Ani. Ms. Ani has represented me for the past year and a half in a child support/custody " battle" to say the least.
Ms. Ani accomplished what most would deem impossible. I can finally say with an overwhelming amount of joy, my case is closed and the outcome was exactly what Ms Ani and I intended/ hoped for. She accomplished exactly what she said she would all while Insuring my daughter's well-being remain priority throughout the case.
I speak from experience when saying it is easy to lose sight of what you are fighting for a midst all the accusations, allegations, and overwhelming emotions that are heard and said during such a trying time. Ms. Ani never once lost focus. She is honest, calm, aggressive when needed, organized and managed to keep me calm and composed throughout my case which in itself is a miracle. This was not a black and white case.
