Lincoln Hobbs was recommended to me by another lawyer so I contacted him when I was most stressed by an employment dilemma. I was able to see him within 24 hours of contacting his office. During the one hour meeting with him, he provided a path forward and before I even got home from the meeting, he had prepared and emailed a draft letter to me that would ultimately be sent to my former employer.
Even though I was completely overwhelmed by my situation, Lincoln always remained calm and provided the most excellent service. He kept me involved in the process and provided options for me at every decision point.
When it finally came to mediation, Lincoln very patiently sat with me for 10 hours and kept me in the loop of his every move and strategy. Not only did he exude professionalism and knowledge of his practice, he was conscious of how stressful this was for me and tried to keep things light and friendly.

Lincoln Hobbs is the best attorney I could have chosen for my case. The case he worked on for me was very complicated, and we went to jury trial. I had Gaven return suit against my bad brother who rented my home for 22 years. He claimed that the rent payments were made toward a verbal rent to own agreement. When he saw that I was caught in the Houston Flood where I live as a disabled veteran near the VA hospital. He, knowing that being financially ruined by the flood, I was not likely to be able to answer the Utah lawsuit within the 30 day stipulation or loose the home. Gaven Wenzel went right to work and after the Bias Judges proved their bias through discovery and evidentiary hearings, proved to outwit all of them. And I sold the home while my evil brother’s attorney Parkinson’s inability to focus, allowed the open window to jump through. Gaven is wildly good.

I called for a consultation with Marlon Bates, ot expecting much. I was having troubles trying to figure out my options and routes needed for adverse possesion/heirship/ect. He gave me 3+ more ideas options than ANY other real estate attorney in Utah! He was extremely thorough during our call, explaining everything and answered ALL of my questions (even though many sounded dumb coming from a young woman in her 20s).
I guarantee this: If I EVER need a real estate attorney, he is the FIRST on my lost.
Honestly, I feel like I owe him $400 just for his free consultation!

Attorney Marlon Bates went above and beyond in advising me and drafting an agreement to modify and modification to easement for my house purchase and I'm 100% sure I would not have been able to go through buying my first house without his help.
This was my first every need for an attorney, so I found Marlon through just the regular online search. After sending inquiry to over half dozen attorneys I found, Marlon was the very first to respond with immediate availability. He spent more than an hour on our consultation call, providing more than I was hoping to learn and get advice on the my easement situation. He left on a family vacation the week after but he was still very responsive to my questions and when I decided to move forward with the house with only left few days till diligence deadline, he was able to provide me with the perfect agreement and easement modification draft that I needed to close on my house with a peace of mind. In addition, he was able to clearly outline the risks and the steps that I needed to know and take to fully implement the contract and the modification.
Buying my first house with easement issues was a very scary decision and I would have never gone through buying this house if it wasn't for the reassuring consultation and the contracts and modification drafts that Marlon provided. I would go through this all over again with his help.
Ultimately, I ended up with a better term on the house and more favorable modifications to the easement than I would have initially accepted on the house.

Everything was done in a timely manner. I felt like a valued client. All questions I had were answered well. I will definitely use Mr. Lillywhite again. We were correcting mistakes made on a property title and its history. Namely transferring a dual ownership to a single ownership. In the process Mr. Lillywhite found a loan had not been properly reconveyed. As a result of performance from Mr. Lillywhite, the lender complied with our requests. Shawn was very open about the cost of hiring counsel and our options. Our case didn't involve a lot of money and attorney fees would have taken a big amount out of any settlement . He provided sound advice and allowed us to make our own decision. He could have easily taken our money and represented us and the outcome would have still been the same. My 80 year old mother was in a battle with her step son over the estate that her deceased husband left to her. We had many consultations, emails, and letters back and forth with Frank and he was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. I can't begin to say enough about what an amazing attorney Jason Yancey is. I have been involved in more than my fair share of litigation over the years and used the services of many well known "high powered" attorneys. I had a nasty divorce, it took 6 years and in the process I ended up getting a stalking injunction against my mother in law for breaking into our home, vandalizing my property, visiting with our neighbors and spreading rumors and slander. I did that myself and ended up with 8 counts of stalking against her.
She is so vindictive she ended up waiting about a year and then used the some of the same incidents that were counted against her... to try to get an injunction against me. She submitted it in one district court outside of Utah County where the judge flat denied her request. He wrote "This does not constitute stalking!" and underlined it... He wrote denied right on the front cover.
2 weeks later she filed the same thing in the fourth district. The damned judge did not even let me and my divorce attorney present or defend me. He just gave her the Stalking Injunction she asked for. (I think judges are afraid if something were to happen... and they did not give one out... they would be in a jamb)
I hired Dallas to appeal this. He did... and the writing was BRILLIANT... really. If you really want to look it up... Appellate cases are not closed in Utah and the case is public. My name is John Andrew Armstrong. Hers is Candace Peterson... just google it.
It took forever it seems, not for Dallas but for the State Appellate court to make their call. Needless to say, we won and were awarded attorney fees.
