Mr. Yourth represented me in both my divorce/custody case and a subsequent criminal matter. In both cases, Mr. Yourth went above and beyond. In my divorce case, he showed a superior knowledge of the law and obtained a result that attorney's I had consulted with prior to retaining Mr. Yourth told me was impossible. The judge clearly knew and respected Mr. Yourth and it was clear that his reputation preceded him. I was granted primary custody of my children (which I thought was impossible as a father), did not have to pay any spousal support to my ex (which every attorney prior to Mr. Yourth told me was a foregone conclusion) and my legal bills with Mr. Yourth were approximately 60% of what my ex-wife's attorney charged her. We literally won (or as close to winning as one can get in a divorce case) on every issue. I cannot recommend Mr. Yourth enough.
Subsequent to my divorce, I ended up in trouble with the law and needed Mr. Yourth's assistance and again he was caring, responsive and more than competent. He reached a plea agreement with the Commonwealth's attorney that was far better than expected and did not charge me an arm and a leg. Mr. Yourth will be my attorney until the day I die!

Mr. Yourth was extremely knowledgeable and caring throughout a very stressful time in my life. He kept me informed throughout the process and always made me feel like I had someone in my corner. Unfortunately, my ex refused to be reasonable and, despite numerous attempts at settlement by us, my case went to trial. I received a fantastic result and also learned that, although our attorney's rates were identical, my bill was only about 60% of my Wife's. Highly recommended.

Throughout 2013 and 2014, Rachael Hammer has done an excellent job with my divorce, support and custody case despite extremely contentious and difficult circumstances. The custody case started with the mother trying to limit visitation to twice per month which led to a hearing where Ms. Hammer successfully argued for joint custody.
Ms. Hammer guided us through months of negotiations and litigation to a highly successful outcome. She has stayed with us in the aftermath, taking late night and weekend phone calls, through pick-up explosions and police involvement.
I can not say the case has been pleasant, but Ms. Hammer and her legal assistant Katrina Smallwood, have remained a calm and steady presence no matter the circumstance. Phil and our family share the same last name, but we are not actually related. Phil has been our family attorney for over a decade now. We trust him and his legal advice indubitably. He has been our counsel through numerous commercial and real estate transactions. He consistently keeps us abreast of changing situations during the deals and always includes/explains to us, as the client, for all decision making. He is always available via email and telephone, most times with 1-day or less response time.
His advice errs on the side of cautious and protective of our interests, which is exactly what you want from an attorney. His entire team at his firm is knowledgeable and equally trustworthy.
Bonus, is that he can understand quite a bit of the Korean language verbally, and can even speak it a little. However his English is perfect and written communications are always clear and concise.

Neil Richmond and Attentive law group are top notch professionals. Being a business owner, I have many colleagues throughout Loudoun County and Neil came highly recommended from several of them. Neil delivered and exceeded on that recommendation.
My wife and I own an in home personal training business and we have used Neil several times over the past two years for writing up contracts and dealing with any infractions that arise.
What we really liked in the beginning of working with Neil is how transparent he was about his process and his fee structure. There were never any hidden fees and once the work is done he gives you a print out of exactly what he did with the time.

Mr. Robinson was my court appointed attorney for a case that I thought was completed and dismissed years ago, but apparently there was one loose end that kept it from being finalized and so a bench warrant was issued for me for a probation violation. Not only did Mr. Robinson call me and review my case over the phone but he showed true empathy for my situation and actually told me exactly what I needed to obtain as far as documents so he could present them to the judge to request the case be finalized and the probation violation be dismissed. From start to finish, he was always easy to get ahold of if I had any questions, and if I had to leave a message he returned my call pretty much immediately. I only had to go in front of the judge one time and Mr. Robinson went on my behalf the last time and was able to have the issue dismissed. I'm forever thankful for how he handled everything so professionally and smoothly, not to mention quickly (which kept my attorney fees down to the minimum) As much as I hope I will never need one again, if I ever do need another attorney I would definitely call upon Mr. Robinson to represent me, because he has proven to be a great attorney and I know that he would have my best interest in mind and I would feel completely at ease knowing that I could rely on him. I first got acquainted with David Robinson when I became a witness to a crime. My downstairs neighbor had an unfortunate incident involving the ex-girlfriend and mother of his young son. If my neighbor was convicted, he would be end up in jail for a very long time in jail, his parental rights would have been taken away, and he would have a criminal felony on his record.
David Robinson was the court appointed attorney which means David only received $320 for all his time involving this case. What makes David so unique is he has no tolerance for injustice. He is a lawyer of true integrity and dedication. David spent many hours on this case which resulted in the charges being dropped.
A few months later, I got in trouble with the law. I called David, and told him about my troubles. He quickly made time in his busy schedule to see me. He advised me on the various steps I needed to take. I called him many times for advice. After my arraignment, he told me to write a letter requesting him to be my court appointed attorney. I was granted David to represent me. David was there for me every step of the way. I am go grateful for all his time and effort. He made it possible for me to have the ability to get this charge expunged off my record.
