We received a letter from an attorney threatening legal action if we didn’t respond to alleged property line encroachments. We were able to see Piper within a few days. She evaluated our situation and advised us of alternative approaches to minimize costs and take advantage of our long time property ownership. Piper worked closely with us to prepare our case and negotiate a boundary line agreement with the neighboring property owners. She kept us appraised of progress and set a positive tone in working with the attorneys for the neighbors. At all times she was very professional and focused on our best interests. We would recommend her unreservedly.

I had to step outside of our normal legal council because of a PUD dimension that my case was involved with. So Larry was a referral as he has this expertise with Public Utilities.
I have to say I was not happy to begin with another attorney especially since we have to re-convey the entire litany of the case/situation from the beginning again :-(
Larry was upfront, respectful and yet to the point; and most pleasant while doing so. He also has a can of "old school wit" that he seems to know just when to open to be most effective and share with the other side.

Ryan is a very thoughtful and knowledgeable attorney. He listened well hearing out my explanation of what I was looking for and what my situation was. Drew is a very down to earth, non "lawyer-y" lawyer. I only met with him in person one time and he was very relaxed yet instilled confidence in me when he spoke about what he does. While it took much longer than I had hoped, he ultimately won a great settlement for us from our own insurance company, using our coverage for uninsured motorists. I had a personal injury as a result of being hit by a drunk driver and not only did Drew make sure all of my medical care (6 months!) was covered in full but left us with $10,000 in our pockets when all was said and done. I highly recommend him and his firm.

I recently consulted with Matthew Cunanan and Drew Davis regarding both an inheritance and an elderly parent with debt problems. As part of a free consultation, they gave me helpful advice about a number of potential scenarios and also did some preliminary research to answer one of my questions. In addition, they were very up-front about their rates, unlike other attorneys I’d spoken with who wouldn’t even give me an estimate without paying for a consultation. The only reason I didn’t end up putting them on retainer was because I needed an attorney who is local to California. I greatly appreciate their efforts on my behalf, and highly recommend them.

I had a house with an ex-wife that was not getting settled and it looked as though a short sale was our only option. I did not know much about this process and so I asked a friend to recommend someone as I had no idea what to look for. My friend gave two numbers to call and David was the one that called me back; it was literally one of the best calls I'd ever made.
David is a realistic professional with real world expectations, in that, he gave me all the tools to handle my massive situation while not treating me like I was ignorant of the processes (even though I was). Kyle always knows what to do. He presents you with many options, the reasoning behind each option, and allows you to make a well-informed decision. He takes the time to really get to know your case. Our experience with this firm from day one has been excellent. My opinion extends to the entire office staff who are all extremely courteous and helpful people. We had a difficult situation with a non-communicative entity in the onset but with time, Ms. Johnson skillfully launched a plan that eventually led us to an impressive financial settlement plus she successfully negotiated a long-term contract for a substantial amount of money with a billion dollar corporation. Yes, she appears to be a gentle and calm dispositioned woman but there's a raging spirit within her who will not be intimidated by powerful big business and she will continually fight and strategize until you succeed in your cause. This case took almost 2 years to conclude but one of the most fortunate and wise things I've ever done in business was to hire Ms. Johnson.

As soon as my wife and I hired Robert Zierman we began to sleep better! Although Robert's law office is several hours away from us, we chose Robert (Justice Smiles, Plllc) for help in a festering Boundary Dispute with an aggressive new neighbor. Why Robert? A boundary dispute some 20 years ago taught us that such real estate matters are a specialized area of the law. We searched and failed to find a local lawyer who had more than a minor part of their practice based on Real Estate. So we looked further afield for a ''specialist". And while doing our Internet research on the subject of boundary disputes, we found our expert, Robert Zierman, and we also found many helpful articles that Robert himself had authored.
Enlisting Robert for our legal representation was a VERY GOOD choice! Robert thoroughly reviewed our situation and then carefully identified several alternative courses of action for us....plus he identified the likely costs, benefits and risks of each course of action. Robert's expertise and his calming demeanor also seemed to keep the other parties from unnecessarily escalating the situation.
Bottom Line: Very glad we found and used Robert Zierman for our boundary problem. It WAS money well spent. We found Robert to be very time efficient because he was already so knowledgeable about the subject area. We felt we were in "good hands" with Robert from Day 1. We found Robert trustworthy and hard working. He tries to deescalate and resolve confrontations. It has been a pleasure working through this awkward situation employing a true professional like Robert Zierman. We consider the negotiated outcome "fair". We couldn't ask for more. Hiring Robert was certainly a wonderful choice for us. Highly recommended.

Everything was in place to close on a real estate deal after a group of neighbors had banded together to purchase a collection of vacant lots. But the deal went sideways when the sellers refused to sign/close, and stopped communicating with their agent. We hired Britney to sort out the mess, which she did splendidly and quickly. She expertly and very promptly closed all the exits to protect the parcels from alternate deals and/or disruption (multiple Lis Pendens filings completed within a week of first contacting Britney). Britney's communication was rapid and thorough, and she represented multiple parties in the same action very effectively. Faced with the overwhelmingly strong hand Britney laid on the table, the sellers backed down and agreed to settle/close and pay legal fees. Overall, the closing was delayed 6 weeks, but that's much faster than we feared a legal action might take. The team at Hanson Baker was also a real asset, utilizing Keaton Hille for litigation matters and Cathy Anderson for keeping the wheels rolling. Billing breakdown was very detailed and transparent. I would not hesitate to utilize Britney and the Hanson Baker team again, if unlucky enough to face legal challenges again in the future.

Mr. Hicks was assisting the lead attorney on our case and subsequnetly took it over as our primary contact. The issue was adverse possession. Mr. Hicks explained what was going on in laymans terms and tried to establish common ground between planiff and defendant. While that never happened the case was eventually voluntarily dismissed by plantiff as Mr Hicks had provided thorough enough documentation and rebuttal that plantiff
