I got to know Ed many years ago in a case when I was representing the defendant and Ed was representing the Plaintiff. I was looking for an attorney to represent me in my case. My employer didn't pay me overtime and didn't let me take breaks for the 6 years I worked for them. I complained about that but they didn't do anything so I finally fed up with them. I talked with him on the phone first and then I visited his office. He explained me what steps we need to take and made me feel better about my decision to take a legal action. He walked me through all the processes without any aggravation or worries. And, he was able to settle my case with them fairly quickly. I feel very lucky that I found him. He is knowledgeable and he is very professional. I definitely recommend him.

As a seasoned business professional, I have retained at least 10 attorneys in the past for matters such as bankruptcy creditor actions, partnership disputers, labor law defense, customs disputes, commercial real estate and copyright actions.
Of all the law firms my businesses have retained, Sally and her team at West Themis are by far, the most astonishing. They work 10x faster and more efficient than all of the attorneys and law firms that I've used. Sally's methods are very concise, methodical, and strategic. She filed a certain motion in a case that my former attorneys at a larger firm never did. With her firm, I got answers, strategy, and results at much lower rates.
Sally is the managing partner at West Themis Law. This law firm has a team of attorneys and professionals that handle different related areas of law that helps them strategize and attack each matter with different areas of law. They don't do copyright.
All in all, I am very impressed. I think their secret to delivering quality, fast, and affordable representation is because of Sally's management style and use of technology. I had contacted legal aid regarding family law advice and was given a few references. Larry was the only one over the phone that made me feel like a person he genuinely cared about and wanted to help. I was not looking to hire an attorney at the time, but just to get advice and assistance on the steps I should take for filing. After a couple months my situation got a little more complicated for someone with no legal expertise to continue on their own so I made an appointment to meet with Larry in person. As in most divorce cases, my ex was pretty hostile and I felt I had no one to turn to and help me thru the situation emotionally. Larry was available anytime day or night if I had questions/concerns and never failed to make me feel at ease. My case was finalized after a year and a half and I have recommended Larry to numerous friends in need of a family attorney. Although he no longer practices family law, I believe Larry carries the same qualities of compassion & integrity in all aspects of his career, and for that will remain a friend for life!

Thanks to my lawyer, Lorenzo Esteban Herrera, aka, "Larry Herrera," I felt really confident hiring him as my defense laywer over a lawsuit of "Grandparents visitation rights." I, as a parent, and recent widow, was left with accusations of money being owed to my ex-inlaws and also threatened by them to take away my daughter and have full or partial custody. Larry Herrera helped me defend myself as I had every right to in order to continue my life raising my daughter aswell as defending my rights as the beneficiary person on my wife's life insurance. The gavel dropped hard on my inlaws after being exposed of lying under oath and were only granted minimal visitation rights with my daughter at only once a month for a few hours under my terms and conditions instead of what my ex-inlaws were asking for which was; Spending the night every other weekend, holidays, birthdays, and vacation time. Im glad that Larry Herrera helped me with my case because the experience really gave me a sense of strength and courage after reaching victory when the judge ruled her judgement in my favor. I hired Ms. Mock to defend me in a debt collection lawsuit. I was unsure about having to pay a retainer because I never needed a lawyer before, but it was worth it. The credit card company's lawsuit against me was settled within 3 months and I don't have to declare bankruptcy now. My issue was a real-estate one, involving a not-so-amicable break-up and a co-owned house.
I spoke with five different lawyers before selecting one for my case, and Mr. Belong was the only one that I had a gut reaction telling me to hire him. In our initial consultation conversation he listened to everything I had to say, clearly took in all the information and gave me his opinions on what kind of case I had and how he would proceed. It was a really stressful situation for me but I felt an immediate sense of relief after hiring Mr. Belong because I could tell he not only knows his stuff, he is also caring and compassionate (not a hint of arrogance or self-importance).
Mr. Belong always took the time to hear me out and give me the best legal path forward. I could tell he wanted to get this done as quickly as possible with the best possible outcome for me – he was thorough yet efficient. Throughout the process he would discuss various approaches with me, listen to my thoughts on them, and would answer as many questions as I could throw at him. It felt like a collaborative effort…and when I was overwhelmed or truly didn’t have an opinion, I always trusted him to make the best choice for me.

My mother and I went to Mr. Belong to help us with a dispute regarding a lien on my property and the refusal of my insurance company to take responsibility for their mistake in granting title without a thorough check for outstanding distresses on the property. Mr. Belong was the first attorney who listened to our problem, acknowledged our stress and anxiety and promptly began to help us find solutions. He appeared knowledgable of the applicable laws and ordinances as well as pragmatic in his actions. He was aware of our financial concerns and seemed like he genuinely wanted to help us. He took up our case the same day as our initial phone consultation on a Friday and the following Monday he was ready to begin sorting the situation out and researching the pertinent information. Of my dealings with lawyers in general, he seemed to be much more human and humane than I had experienced before and given the acute frustration I was going through, it made a big difference. The case was settled sideways through some unusual circumstances and Mr. Belong's services ended up being minimal, however, based on his demeanor and actions I would highly recommend him. I only had an over-the-phone consultation with Edrik, but through that I was able to tell that he's an honest and capable lawyer. Whereas I suspect many lawyers may attempt to collect money from you as soon as possible, Edrik was forthcoming enough to give me sincere advice as to why I should or shouldn't hire a lawyer for my legal claim. I hired Daniel for a labor law case after speaking to several attorneys because he came across a knowledgeable, understanding, and professional attorney with experience in the field.
