I hired Mr Wheeley to help me with Social Security Disability. He was very helpful and fully explained everything to me before hand and was very patient. He offered to file the initial paperwork for because I was sick with cancer treatments. He assistants Ana and Sarah were great. They kept me in the loop and called to inform me of everything that happened and the progress being made and double checking to see if I completed paperwork that SSDI needed. Kelly is wonderful to speak with on the phone. I truely I wouldn't have been approved so quickly if it wasn't for this law team on my side. Let me begin this review by explaining that I had an EXTREMELY rough case to overcome due to an unrelated attorney I had hired prior to Mr. Kelley. My case was also very unique in its level of difficulty in general, so that also added to the likelihood that I would not see a successful outcome. At the recommendation of the PBA, I retained Kelley Law Group and was consulted by Mr. Kelley on a different direction he thought we should take in relation to my case. He was upfront and honest with me in his belief that my case may not be winnable due to several errors made by others and myself prior. He was NOT there just to take my money...he appeared 100% compassionate (Workers Comp really put me through the ringer!) and wanted nothing more than to get me the desired outcome I wanted and rightfully deserved. The following was a very unlikely thing for me to personally do but I was at the end of my rope -- I decided to put every ounce of faith into Mr. Kelley and adhere by everything he insisted we do to give my case at least a fighting chance. His professional/legal advice was a Godsend to me. Because of this man's hard work, knowledge of the law and attention to detail, along with the dedication and hard work from all of the employees at Kelley Law Group, I WON MY CASE!! First and foremost obtaining a FRS duty disability it can be a long process and by no means easy. DO NOT ATTEMPT this alone. Laws change all the time Federal, State and Work mans comp. Paul Kelley stays on top of all that! Remember he has 35 years as an Attorney and comes from a law enforcement family. He is no doubt time and money well spent. And during the pandemic Paul and his amazing staff could get calls through to other Attorney, Doctors and State offices effectively. What more could a client ask for? In 2006, while working as a patrol officer, I had a heart attack on the job. This led to several weeks in the hospital and months of recovery. The City I work for denied my claim under the Heart and Lung Bill. Based upon recommendation from my union, I sought out Paul Kelley to represent me. I did not know it at the time, but this would turn out to be the best decision I have ever made.
The city fought ruthlessly to deny my claim; so much so that at one point, I wondered if it was worth the fight. Paul assured me that it was and he was absolutely right. The city continued to deny my claim and Paul took them to court and won. Despite this, the city still denied my claim and appealed. Paul went before the appellate court in Miami, which consisted of a 3 judge panel. All three judges unanimously upheld our win in the lower court. The city now, by court order, recognizes and is responsible for my claim.
Since 2006, I have had to have many heart related procedures. I had to retire medically as a police officer. Paul represented me through all of this and negotiated a transition from officer to a civilian administrative position, where I presently continue to work.
In 2020, I developed severe heart failure and had to undergo an evaluation for a heart transplant. Paul again represented me throughout this very scary time. Thanks to Paul and his team, I received the medical attention that I needed in a timely manner. Luckily, I did not have to undergo transplantation at this time and am continuing to receive medical therapy.
I have had the need for an attorney more than I have ever imagined that I would. I can tell you, Paul is an absolute expert pertaining to the Heart and Lung Bill and Worker's Compensation. Above all else, he is one of the nicest and most caring people you will ever meet. He has put together a team of experts. Connie, Barbara and Kristin are the best! During this recent transplant scare, they worked late hours and did whatever it took to make sure that I got what I needed medically. You absolutely cannot go wrong with choosing Paul to represent you. 14 years after choosing Paul, I still say it was the best decision I have ever made.

Terri took on a tough case with a life altering, and devastating injury. I am a lawyer who does not practice in this area of law. My Husband hired Terri when he had a work injury (falling off of a ladder while installing OSHA safety equipment of all things) he was off his feet for 12 weeks while the doctor’s reconstructed his leg. These injuries will last a lifetime and mean limping, pain and future surgeries. It looks like an erector set from childhood holding all those bones together.
Terri and her firm kept us informed, and advised of his rights. She championed his case even through the covid lockdown and the corresponding slow down in the courts. From day one Mr. Hill and his staff made me feel that I was not just a number, but a person they could help. The professionalism that he and his staff showed was beyond excellent. They made it a point to keep me updated so I always knew what the status was at all times. It did take several years to finish my case, but it was not the fault of Mr. Hill or of his staff. I would get copies of emails sent to VA saying that their response is past the required reply date, which showed me he was always on top of everything. Mr. Hill even went so far as to call me (email not available) when I was in CA to make sure I was informed of the status of my case. Because of him and his staffs professionalism, and their attitudes I have recommended them to numerous veterans that I have met who thought they were at a dead-end and were not getting any real knowledgeable help. The Social Security Disability process is extremely difficult, confusing and frustrating. We srtruggled for the first few years, not knowing what to do or where to turn. By the time we contacted Maria Riddle, we had been denied and broken financially. Maria took charge, put us in touch with exceptional doctors and specialists, walked us through the disability process and made the experience way less horrible. There were times Alicia, her assistant and I just talked.. she knew how hard it was for us to go through this process and showed extrteme compassion every time we corresponded. No one expects sickness to come. My father was hospitalized and unable to make sound decisions for himself. After a consultation with Mr. Bolves, I was able to obatin the propoer paperwork that would allow me to ensure proper care for my father.

Approximately 2 years ago I was involved in an automobile accident which left me with buldging discs. I was experiencing severe physical pain , especially in my lower back. Moreover, I even had to stop practicing yoga which is my passion. Furthermore, the insurance company was claiming the injuries were pre-existing. Tim Weaver did a superb job handling my legal problem. Very respectful of my situation and a great listener, he never over-promised me anything. He is reasonably priced and my outcome (once he laid out all the evidence for me) was much better than expected.
He did a great job explaining my situation and the options available. He even provided guidance on things I could do before we went to court that would ultimately be in my favor. He took advantage of every opportunity (no matter how small) that I truly believe eventually reduced the time and penalties I could've received.
Tim's staff also did an amazing job "behind-the scenes" as they were always available to take my questions, provide information, or pass along my concerns to Tim when he was out of the office.
Nobody wants to be in the position where they require an attorney. However, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Tim again if needed. He treats his clients like family members and never hesitates to go the extra mile for their benefit.

Everyone needs Robert Alston and his team on their side. It's best to have them from day one, that's what I did and I never regretted that decision. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I had severe malpractice with many insurance Dr's trying to cover it up and grossly underestimating the disability. I filed for Disability and was turned down then hired another attorney who appealed and lost again. I found Brad who read the denial and in 1 minute said " I will get this denial thrown out and we should win the case" . He said the judge used the wrong pain scale and applied something else incorrectly as well and cited the court cases!
He explained the best way to win a SS disability case including getting a SS Disability Evaluation by a Dr. Then Brad writes a brief for the SS Judge using the SS Eval and the Dr reports in your favor into a concise Document. He did a lot of work on my case and SS jerked him around for years about paying him (as they are required to do). Needless to say he got my denial thrown out (based on what he said) and he won my case. It was likely one of the toughest wins since I got the same biased, totally ignorant Judge who couldn't even pronounce the disease I have (who screwed up my previous appeal) along with many corrupt insurance Drs who were under reporting injuries trying to cover up the permanent injuries they caused by their malpractice and some saying nothing was wrong at all. Brad's staff was first class and answered any question quickly or Brad called you back personally and explained exactly how things work. He is a walking encyclopedia of Supreme Court cases and how they apply to SS Disability. He is the Best, Absolutely Amazing!

There I was with recently diagnosed with combat connected PTSD, looking at the diagnosis of Bladder Cancer and facing a series of back surgeries that will leave me a cripple for the next 3 years. I was so depressed I wanted to give up. I had filed with the VA, going from one overworked and sometimes ignorant VSO to another. Some were helpful, but now I was overwhelmed waiting on the VA to answer, only to be denied or told I did not have a form filed correctly. My VA doctors were very good to me but way overworked and restricted by so many rules. Frustration and depression do not heal PTSD. Pain and the drugs the doctors plied me with made me a zombie. Only my faith in my God and Savior keep me from ending my life. My prayers were answered by finding Hill & Ponton on the internet.
